I agree it would be nice to have even an aosp jb rom instead of all these damn kangs. Almost all the real devs have left xda.

I am sure I am being overly technical and probably a typo on your part, but Slim rom is not 4.1.2 and dark is not a gapps option, but an option in the rom itself.
There is also a website for Team Blackout which provides app that are blacked out.

Dark was not built into this build of slim rom and I am running 4.1.2 it's an older version of slim
