Anyone got the Stock Media Sounds - T-Mobile HTC One (M7)

I need the Ringtones, Notification Sounds, and System Sounds from this phone. I am making a couple sound themes for my SGH-T999 and would like them.
I would rip them out of the Hyperdrive Rom, but well, I dont really wanna have to download a fill gig and a half to do so.
If anyones got a zip of these, please share them

Download music from where? Are you wanting to buy songs? Stream songs? Pirated songs? BitTorrent?

Well, that's the one area I wouldn't know but you can have a look at this:

Music box pro
Best in my opinion & it's free

My God, it's not that hard to find one yourself. Just go to the Market and type in "mp3 download" and tons of nice apps that do pretty much the same thing will come up. I don't think you should ask unless you've looked and didn't find anything that worked.
I don't think jumping on him helped much here. If he is new to Android sometimes when you look for a particular type of app several pop up and you never know which one actually works best or has issues. Sometimes it's nice hearing from people that have tried apps before you download and waste time.
gtunes is pretty good

It's just like searching Google, or anything else. It's not hard and it doesn't matter if you are "new to Android" or not I don't think. If you type 'mp3 download' (a pretty common thing you would think to type if you want to download mp3s) on the Market, I literally just now did it, the first 8 things that come up will all work fine. It's just a matter of which one you like the best. It's an opinion and everyone has their own. For example: the guy above likes Gtunes while I hate it, and use MP3 Music Download Super. You have to learn to form your own opinions...so anyways, it has nothing to do with being new to Android, you just search like you do anything else, and LEARN on your own.
Im not new to android and I did search those up, however, I have no clue what else is on their servers where they get their music. Things could be infected, that's why I asked what you guys recommend.

Ahh...yea I don't get what the whole deal is with the whole Android getting viruses and everything...they aren't like computers, and the only way something could get on your phone and do something you don't want is through installing an apk file that you give the permissions to. No file other than .apk can be twined with a "virus" and "infect" your phone....I don't know why so many people think that.

[Q] Cant delete default ringtones

ok, I'm trying to delete the default rintones (tmo jingle, etc.) but when I do they are gone for a few min the reappear even though they arent in the /media/audio folder anywhere....anyone got any ideas? I cleared DRM and all the other stuff i could find. Anyone know if the ringtones are stored somewhere besides just /media????? =3
Are you deleting from the the zip pre flash or from the phone after flashed?
Sent from my SGH-T959
Do you have an unzipped rom on one of your sd's by chance?
Sent from my ZenDroid, meditating on the XDA App
Going to try and test some things ECOTOX. I'll let you know if I find what's up.
no unzipped rom, and i deleted from the rom before flash and after and still there in the menu, and working i might add even though the files are gone???? =/
Weird. Testing now. Is this on your rom?

I'm downloading your rom now, may not be able to flash it until tomorrow but I'll take a look when I get the chance.
Edit - they are definitely not in the zip file. Ill flash it when I get the chance and let you know my results.

I do know that android can find the ring tones from other roms, even zipped ones. For the longest time I had 3 or 4 of each ringtone. Turns out I had some unzipped roms on sd/speedsoftware/extracted

Hey Eco, flashed your nightly 2 this morning, and the only ringtones that showed up for me were the handful that you included. The notification sounds were all there, but I assumed you included those intentionally, separate from the ringtones.
My only thought is that, as adamcooks touched on above, the OS is seeing a folder on one of your sd's titled ringtones, and its adding its contents to the available options.

[Q] Ringtones on Eclipse v0.7

Switched to Eclipse .07..cannot get Custom ringtones to stick to certain contacts. Any ideas?
Could it have something to do with the sd card flip-flop?
Sent from my DROID X2 using xda premium
Im thinking so...but how do I get around it?
You can flash naven's sd flip-flop from the dev. section of this forum. That's supposed to revert it back to the stock designation. I think the aosp contacts app has no provision for multiple locations for sound files.

Put your ringtones in /system/media/audio/ringtones/ that should do the trick.
Whats really odd about all of it is the fact the ringtones/notifications are there in my list, but does not play the correct one.
I had the same issue last night! I will let you guys know if it works, if someone calls me, lol.
When I get home ill try it...left my usb home and every time I try to dl through browser keep getting nothing.

"Put your ringtones in /system/media/audio/ringtones/ that should do the trick."
this is what i did manually and all of my music and tones were able to be found again.
When I moved my ringtone over it became the same as my default ringer... Seriously, the file name is the same as it was before, but the audio is what my default ringer is! These are custom ringtones I ripped and made myself in AcidPro on my PC so I know what they are supposed to be lol.
Ran the sd flip flop...no go. Not a real deal breaker but Id like to know whether or not to answer the phone when it rings. Plus when my gf hears her ringtone..makes her happy lol,
She calls you when she is next to you? lol

gotta question..need some help

Ive noticed ever since i upgraded to ICS.. ALL my music has the same album art...ive downloaded apps that say they clean it up and find the correct ones but nothing has worked. I cannot find anything that works or to fix it...and its very annoying...please help!!
Ive also attached a few screen shots to show what i mean...all help is appreciated.
Wow, my phone does the same thing! Never noticed it before, mainly because I don't use the stock music player, but you could try rebooting into stock recovery and clearing cache, cache only- not data. That seems to fix alot of things for alot of ppl. I use poweramp, it works like a dream but you have to go through the settings and specify which folders to play from or it will play literally every piece of audio in your phone, including ringtones and game music, gets annoying sometimes to have to skip through so many things.

This app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tbig.playerpro&hl=pt_BR is the most complete, including the lockscreen widget and low in the covers of albums.
I recommend.

I use PowerAmp don't really have any issues with it here's the cover settings
There's a 15 day trial (I think) then its $4.99 for full. IMO its totally worth it but I would say it depends on the person

Ringtone Trimmer? There, but not there.

I've tried to search around for this but I can't seem to find it relating to the DNA. When scrolling through the system apps and files I came upon Ringtone Trimmer. After researching some I discovered it's usable on the OneX, bit no mention of it on the DNA forums. It's in there, butt my question is this: How do you access it and/or how can I find it to use it.
You get to it through the htc music app. There's a little sideways menu button, press that.

Ya what he says PLUS it has to be an MP3 not a M4A or any of that stuff. So if your using iTunes you'll have to convert it. Thats all..

So it's in the standard music app on the phone? Or is it a downloadable app from the store? I'm almost 100 percent sure that it's the stock music app. I have a midi project saved as music as an mp3 and I want to make a trimmed ringtone out of it. I do not see the option you guys are talking about. Maybe I'm just stupid or I have made the phone too lean in my debloat ingredients process. Maybe direct me towards a video or link or a screenshot might help but I don't see the option anywhere in that application.

Thanks for the screenshots. Apparently because I chose the more aosp (desense) look to my Viper DNA setup may be the reason it's not there. I have the standard music app but it looks nothing like the picture you have. Mine looks very similar (almost identical) to that of the 4shared music app. Perhaps I will try the sense version of the rom and see if that will help. I realize that this appears very easy to do but I simply don't have the app options you show in the screen shots.
Edit: I decided to reflash the Rom and sure enough the desensing tools had an option to remove HTC music and replace it with aosp and I had obviously selected that option. All is well and my ringtone from my midi project is now created. Thanks for all the help. The screenshot was the kicker bigandrewgold. Thanks.
