I must be having a brain fact here... On my wife's S4, I created a folder in the app drawer. I *thought* I could then drag apps into it to (temporarily) organize things. When I try and drag an app, it ghosts the main screens to let me drop it there.
How do I drop them in the folder I just created? Can I?

D'oh, figured it out! After creating the folder, you have to put app drawer in "edit" mode.

Open the app drawer, then edit from there. You can drag to the dock this way.

Can this be done? Without having to drag them all out and then in again, in the right order.

No, you can't.
try appZorter, it let you sort applications. As I've tested it with the stock TouchWizz, it's ok and sort files in folders too.

Or try another app launcher, like Nemus Launcher.
It is a free app from the Market.
Is it possible to port them to another launcher like LP,or make a stand alone app?

Not just any folder app (i checked again). When i say ICS style,im referring to how the ICS and ADW EX folders work, where you hover one app over another to create the folder

I've made a folder in the app drawer, long hold & put it on my homescreen. I've added apps to the folder in the app drawer, but they don't appear in the one on the homescreen. I have to delete the homescreen one and re-add it from the app drawer.
Does anyone know how I can get them to automatically synchronise? Or do I just have to keep replacing the homescreen folder?
Using stock rom, touchwiz, rooted.
Thanks

Yes. You can.
I found a way. Go to market. Download launcher pro..the actual old original launcher pro. Don't open the app. After you download it go into widgets by holding empty space on home screen. Scroll to the launcher pro icon in widgets ant tap on it. You'll see a massive bunch of hidden features. Go till you see home. Tap then tap on the first one that says hidden menu themes etc...I hope this made your day.
