Is there anyway to flash the stock note 2 camera back but keep everything else?
What rom are you talking about?
I'm guessing not TW cause they all use the same stock camera, if you're on AOSP then Unfortunately there is no way to have the TW camera.

I am using LiquidSmooth 2.5
Can you suggest another ROM that uses the stock camera? the one in LiquidSmooth makes me want to hurt someone!
Well liquidsmooth is AOSP so if the camera is of importance you have to use something TW based.
Jellybeans by beanstown gives that AOSP look with stability of TW. I run tweaked.

I know that there are new leaks coming out every day (some real, some not).
But I need a ROM that is Jelly Bean but without the Touchwiz.
I know there is SuperNexus but that has Memory Leaks.
Anyone know of one? Please no time wasters..
I'm gonna be honest with you.
Jelly Bean without touchwiz sounds like you wanna look in the AOSP direction. However, there's no AOSP Jellybean ROM today that hasn't got memory leaks.
I'm not sure, though, if someone has taken a samsung base ROM and taken out all touxhwiz related to replace with AOSP counterparts.
Use a JB leak and holo launcher HD, looses touchwiz and you get stock JB

Can you elaborate a little further? Would this be the closest to a pure Nexus Jellybean as we can get? Very interesting...
whats wrong with Touchwiz?

He isn't wrong for wanting a non TW rom. Some people dislike TW. I bought the GS3 but hate TW am I wrong for that? But I am surprised I actually like some of the TW features on the GS3 so lately I have been running TW but themed out as much as possibly as AOSP.
But OP as of right now there are no AOSP roms (JB without TW) that do not have a memory leak. Chances are the memory leak will be there until JB kernel sources are released.
If you want jelly bean without whole touchwiz framework, flash some rom based on aosp or cm19, but if you want stock samsung jb rom without touchwiz launcher, just download some 3rd party launcher via play store, i recommend nova or apex. You can't delete whole touchwiz framework but launcher is replaceable.

You can try flashing supernexus rom, I have been using it for about 20 days now with no issue at all.
Edit: My bad lol, you mentioned SuperNexus ROM in your post.

Holo launcher hd is a third-party launcher based on AOSP JB it looks exactly the same as it, third-party launchers are the only way if you want stock, the other alternate is to flash an AOSP or CM10 Rom.

Yup.
Use a third party launcher like Holo Launcher.
For locker use Holo Locker.
Optionally Root your SIII. And Delete some .apk in system \app.
Lots of replacements there.
Lemme save you the trouble. And get you some suggestions:
AllShare Play - Who wants it? B|
Calculator - Get one like Easy Calculator. Though the stock calculator is pretty nice.
Camera - I'd recommend Camera Zoom FX. but it's paid. stock camera aint bad either.
Clock - A simple deskclock could do. Try "Desk Clock". Or else Stock Clock. " " ".
Contacts, Phone - Can't do anything bout these. except mod on own.
Gallery - Well. It's fine but you can use ICS Gallery by Mobylynx. Pretty fast and elegant
Internet - I hate the stock browser. Get Chrome or ICS Browser +
Messaging - Get ICS Messaging, though i'm not sure if it supports Direct Call.
My Files - Get ES File Explorer. It's the best file manager to drag and drop files.
S Memo, S Planner - Well, they aren't bad. But you can even try out Color Note for S Memo. And for S Planner try Taskos To do list.
S Voice - I don't like S voice at all. Get Speaktoit Assistant. Best voice assistant ever.
Samsung Apps. - Keep this app. Gives free games sometimes.
Video Player - Well. Just keep it. It isn't that bad. Or else try mx video player. It's even good.
Voice Recorder - Stock one is nice. You can try 3rd party Easy Voice Recorder.
Well. That's it.
Can't do anything about the other stuff. Because that's the framework.
I'd recommend trying out a theme, if you want to get rid of that too.
I spent quite some time trying to find the best app in all those areas. So kindly just press the thanks button if i helped you.

I like Jelly Bean UI.. and I doesnt like TouchWiz UI.. im using SuperNexus, overall very satisfactory, but, the "Design for human features" of S3, doesnt include on this CFW, that are the minus for this CFW..
about memory leak, i think the RAM of mine is stable.. this CFW is recommend to people who do not like TouchWiz UI

Why have you flashed a custom rom, when all you needed was another launcher?
Wait for vertumus to add support for JB in his jelly bean domination theme
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1730397
Use apex/nova launcher with it and this is the closest you can get to stock jelly bean with a samsung ROM.
So I am on a Touchwiz ROM but am really missing AOKP. The only real thing I would miss from tw is the camera.
So is there a way to port the camera/gallery app from tw onto an AOSP ROM??

Can anyone answer the OP's question? The camera app/image optimization is the only thing I want out of TouchWiz.
Actually, never mind.
As far as I know the tw camera is tied in with the framework so it can't be ported, this was a big request on the s3 also and so far no way to do it

I figured I would bring this back up.... the camera is the only reason i'm still on TW.... Is there any way yet to run the stock TW camera on an AOSP ROM? I don't even care about the gallery (even though I would imagine they're tied into eachother).

The closest you can get to aosp and still have the TouchWiz camera is on of the Google edition roms. Or you can try the touch wiz eclipse 2.0 rom. Looks enough like AOSP that I have my fix.

That's what I figured... which stinks. I really dig Halo and light weight in the AOSP ROMs, just outweighed by the TW camera.
Thanks for the recommendations... I may just try those out.
Is there a jb rom that i can use as a daily, that has a camera that is as close to sense camera as possible.
All JB ROMs are decently stable. I personally tried Infection and Liquid smooth with little to no issues.(just needed to tweak min freq voltage to avoid wake freezes)
As far as Sense camera? I do not know. All JB ROMs I see use AOSP camera and gallery.

Infection is awesome everything works
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2070947
As for the sense camera all jb roms will have the same camera the sense camera needs the sense framework to run and aosp is a totally different animal

I concur.
I'm looking for a Rom that has a stock android look and feel, like the stock status bar and stock look for settings, while still maintaining a great camera and gallery app, preferably the touchwiz ones. The air gestures are nice to but not absolutely necessary. A stock android like lock screen is also a must.
Any help is appreciated

The Wicked Rom is pretty neat. Cear of bloatware.. Its TouchWiz. This is the fist Rom I tried and have not switched sinxe I flashed it. I have been very happy with it.

When you say Stock Android look and feel do you mean AOSP?
Hyperdrive has a lot of options for pretty much every apsect of the rom
Eclipse S4 TW Edition is basically a TW rom with the look and feel of AOSP. Those are the two best in my opinion. If you're really trying to get down to nearly pure AOSP programs and stuff you can check out Andybone's Barebones Rom too. It just depends on how AOSP like you wanna go.

My ROM doesn't have anything AOSP
An AOSP theme is coming thanks to nito for giving me the permission to use his work.
Tried your Rom, was great but I didn't like how the Rom settings say there is an aosp lock screen but nothing happens when I toggle it. Also you need to add a default music player, be it Samsung's or play music. Also hated how it doesn't restore all apps, had to manually do that.

Lol. Wasn't necessarily talking about theming but more about the removal of more things that some people consider bloatware (all the extra Samsung cool guy features) but after relooking I think I was thinking of someone else's ROM. Yours is one of the first ME7 based roms. My bad Andy.

If you are talking about my ROM..
Google auto restores your apps,...
Not ROM related.
also there is NOTHING wrong with the AOSP lock screen,
and Samsung Music is found in Aroma, choose hub..
I suggest doing a FULL CLEAN install, and NOT installing anything outside my thread.
I can only assume you flashed an android.policy.jar and that broke the AOSP lock screen. User Error.
Also I don't include ANY app you can download from the play store.. why would I?
waste of space.
Everything you hate about my ROM can all be solved by fixing your user errors, and a little research.

Thread closed...
These type posts are not allowed as they turn into arguments over which rom is best, and best rom threads get summarily closed as users are expected to read, study and make their own determinations as to what they want on a rom.
XDA is not a support site, it is here for developers and for those interested in the plight.

As the hardware is different a "stock" rom for another device will not work on our device. That being said you may be able to port specific apps or a version of the UI that you wish to have.
My advice, take a stock based JB rom and use a multiwindow mod with a custom kernel (overclock) and xposed for custom features and theme the heck out of it to your liking.
