This is a rather intriguing new phone which should be out soon. It looks similar to the Galaxy Camera but with phone capabilities. Engadget says there is a Russian review that is out; has anyone read it ? In particular how good is the camera?

I definitely agree 100%. I wouldn't want to bring it out in public and make a phone call with it. Looks awkward as a phone

Havent seen the video, but this thing happens all the time. When you get a great new phone thats recently published, companies are already working on a better version of it (or another better model).
Its usually better to enjoy your current mobile than to be like "I should have waited to get X mobile better", since you could be waiting forever as the companies get more and more new mobiles...

Got to compare the Galaxy Nexus, the Skyrocket, and the Note at CES, and I have to say the Note is my absolute favorite.
It has completely wrecked smaller form factor phones for me . Screen is amazing. Watching HD video on it was gorgeous! LTE was really fast. I was getting 35mbps in the building there. S-Pen works pretty well, I guess it would be kinda useful, but more so to just play around with. Phone is massive. It was really nice as you get a lot of room to move your fingers and be more precise.
When it gets ICS it will be like really awesome!
So ya thats all I have to say.
I think I need to stay away from these forums until friday!

This is my first HTC for a while. It's a great phone compared to my S3. The keyboard is awesome, screen is amazing in daylight (unlike the S3) and the speakers are awesome. One thing I do enjoy is how simple the new UI is, as well as BlinkFeed. I read a lot on my phone so that's perfect. Not much time with the camera though.

Nothing is close atm. I am lucky that I get to use all of the newest phones and the One just blows everything else away. I wish the home button was centered, but this phone is silky smooth. Off the top of my head I can not think of anything I liked better on the S3 than on the One.
Even the Apple fanboys I have shown this phone to have been impressed.

Eh, it's a company phone so I cannot do it. sorry.
Only thing I do miss about my S3 is the ability to share anything via WiFi Direct. Love that feature.

A bunch of people were able to do it--visit some of the other threads. Someone got CWM too by using the same process the Int'l One uses.
I got to play with a Stealth Black model phone at Best Buy. Oh boy am I giddy over this device. It feels great, looks great. Etc. Do want, can't wait for my own version.

I had the Note 2, then went to the S4 then tried the Note 3, but it is just massive. I have big hands and is still very awkward to hold. I ride a bicycle so I like something on my hip, holster wise. So this LG is peppy, is all around fun and good. I have no complaints.

Nice. I got the note 3 today and like it a lot but at the end of the day its the same experience as the Note 2 eith a better display and faster. I read a lag thread for the G2 and it has me worried cause I really wanna try that phone. Does your G2 lag?

When the first time I see the G2's screen and watch demo clips on it, I was impressed... "Oh my God, never see a beautiful cell's screen before. I love it, I must have it".
When the first time I turned on Note 3 screen, I even thought that there is crap on this phone (sorry). Screen looks dirty, and colors are so... far more than enough. Red is too red, blue is too blue, green is too green... and it makes the screen like a mess.
If u care more about the display, you must see this G2. But if u want something big, more performance, document applications, stylus, u can keep your Note 3.
My G2 is not lag in anytime (I think Note 3 is stronger), but Iam not sure that Note 3 battery can last long like G2. With G2, I never need to care about the battery even I spend half day in a Internet Cafe.
How to do this mod, where do I get the developer menu?

Lag? God no, this thing is blazing. I was worried about the OS and leaving touchwiz but I actually like the LG interface and with Nova Launcher, I can't be happier. I rooted the phone within the first hour and the mods available make it even better.

This is built into Android. Long hold on notification, App info, and then untick show notifications. However, there may be side effects such as disabled toast messages as well
