hi guys. I'm having some wake lock issues which would explain my battery issues. I know about Facebook and I'm thinking of deleting it. But has anyone had wake lock issues with Maps and eBay?

GSam Battery Monitor Pro 2.34? Showing these stats? Maps might be your GPS and Ebay has push notifications if I remember correctly.

No I'm using an app called Wakelock detector. I'm not sure how reputable it is but this is what GSam is showing me which matches up with Wake lock Detector

Wake Locks

I noticed mine wasn't doing a deep sleep at work today, which i attributed to poor signal there. I disabled mobile data and that didn't help. I then rebooted and then it went into deep sleep just fine.
So i must have an app installed that is running in the background doing it. I must rooted today and froze all bloatware, so I'll know tomorrow if it was one of those apps. If the issue still occurs, i will kill apps one at a time until i find the offender.
Try rebooting your phone, reset timers in cpuspy, and then see if it sleeps.
Some skyrockets had a tendency to do this as well. Odd.

what could be the cause?
Better yet why not grab a logcat and see what is causing wake locks or install one of many apps to do this for you such as better battery stats or watchdog

Some apk's can cause this. Try to do factory reset.
So after installing BetterBatteryStats and seeing the following I think this is moderately OK but I don't really know what I'm looking at screen shots follow

Your looking at what drains your battery the most so you'll have to find those culprits and either disable them or find q workaround. Your battery should look like picture attached with screen taking most of battery life because its on all others should be minimal. Plus just check from how long your battery lasts in a day from.100%-10%

So the NLPWakeLock is Google services network location but my GPS is off?
Sent from my hyperdriven SCH-I545 using xda app-developers app
The latest version of Google play services has that issue. I'm running am older version which has less issues. I've spent many hours trying to figure out what causes both nlp wakelocks and it seems to me that Google now uses it most. Go to settings in Google now, privacy and accounts > Google location settings> turn off location history and reporting and see if that helps. It helps me. Those nlp wakelocks really drain the battery. Google needs to fix it

I watch tons of YouTube videos and have never seen this. I too am now also curious to what that is. Seems like some sorta share your phone screen to a TV icon.

I'm running alliance ROM. For the past day, whenever I wake up and unlock my phone, this damn Valentine's Day popup appears. I uninstalled all recently installed apps but no luck. Ran air push detector but I've had those two apps for months with no problem. Am also running adfree apk as well. Please help - I have valentine's day.
