i had the S10's.. paired pretty good.. they are not very comfortable tho and you can find them cheaper online elsewhere, around $45.
I had the original S-9's, and they paired well - sounded good too. Watch the knock-offs tho, they are NOT the same, and they won't pair well,or sound good either!

For sure, tons of knock offs on eBay. I got the S-9's but don't use them as much as I used too. They pair well and can be a decent distance from the phone and still pick up signal. If you have a large melon, they may be a bit tight and uncomfy though.

The difference between the knockoffs and the legit ones is the buttons. My S9 has super sensitive buttons, you can just lightly press it and it will stop, skip tracks etc. The knockoffs you have to physically press the buttons firmly. It worked but felt very uncomfortable mashing a button while something is in your ear. My coworker swooped up the knock offs for like $25 on ebay. Also mine came with a Blue Tooth adapter for an ipod, works excellent.
Is there a specific reason you want in ear headphones?
Id say pick up a set of over the ear bluetooth headsets. I had a set of motorola s805's they were good. also had a set of jaybird sb2's which were sick.
Im now rocking a set of the new Beats by dre bluetooth headphones.
If you are stuck on in ear headsets check out jaybird they have an entire bluetooth product line with great support and service.
But i really think you should try over the ear (Your hearing will thank me later)

Then i would definetly recommend Jaybird headphones as they are specifically engineered towards athletes and runners. They have a brand new set of freedom headphones which although I have yet to try look very well built and thought out.
Edit: Besides they have a sweat warranty thats pretty brilliant. Good service from these guys...

I have a pair of the S9 and S10 Motorola headphones. I bought the S10s as an 'upgrade' but that turned out to not be the case, unfortunately. They weren't as loud and the sound just didn't seem as 'full'. Really the only positive thing about them is that they NEVER cut out on me, and had much better range. My S9s are more comfortable, louder, sound better, but they did cut out at certain angles(probably because I mainly used them with my phone in my pocket instead of on an arm band as recommended).
I just got a pair of the JayBird Freedom headphones for Christmas and they are definitely the best way to go and worth the extra money. The sound and fit is probably as good as you can possibly get with bluetooth in-ear headphones, and of course they have the sweat-proof warranty. I would recommend getting the JayBird's over EVERYTHING else, especially if you're using them for running and working out, as I do. You won't regret it!

They stay in your ear better than anything else on the market, hands down. The hype is very well-deserved. They won't even budge while running... Plus they come with a pretty nice carry case.
Look at the LG hbs-700 on Www.newegg com. Great price and I love them. If you watch, you can catch them on sale. Read the reviews.

Good to see others who support Jaybird. Everyone always asks about my SB2's and with my endorphins most people don't even realize i have um in.
Do the jaybirds come with a standard charger or just a USB chord? Also if they do come with just a USB chord are we able to use the same adapter on our htc evo 3d chargers bc i dont have a computer any more just 3 galaxy 10.1 tabs

It's not the same cord but it is a usb to some small connection. You can plug it into any 5 volt source like pc or HTC's plug.
I have those headphones use it for soccer practice, gym, and work. I have had no problem with them at all the only thing not a major issue for me I had to take off the red pads on the inside since my sweat was un-gluing them. I jump and run with them with no problem in fact its the opposite from slipping out I have to take them off for a second because it pushes in me ears at times.
I got a pair of S9HD a year ago and they shorted out, I called Motorola and RMA'd them, a week later I had brand new S10HD in my hands. Like the S9HD these things are not the most comfortable things in the world and do not mesh well with sunglasses unless you flip them over and wear them R in left ear L in right. I have no problems with pairing and the battery life seems really good, better than the S9HD for sure.
Would I recommend to buy? no, there are other products on the market that work and fit just as well or better for much cheaper.
I ordered a black Note 3 from Amazon and received white charger, cords, headphones, etc. What color phone/accessories did you receive?
Thanks in advance.
That's normal
Since when? I got everything black with my black Note 10.1. I HATE white.
It's normal for the Note 2 and Note 3 phones. We ordered 600+ black note 2s and they all had white accessories. Same with my black Note 3.
REALLY hate it. Now need to spend extra just to get black. Nice way to stick it to me Samsung. My Note 10.1 came with black - does the Note 2014 come with white? Was excited about getting that, too, but not so much anymore.

There shouldn't be ANY difference in charging from the wall. I've registered the same mah with a standard 2.0 cable and the included 3.0 cable. OTOH, if you charge from a PC usb 3.0 port vs 2.0 port.... Might be a different story.
Wall adapter I think is 2 amp, don't have my reading glasses on to be sure. You can use any standard power adapter and it'll charge just fine. I don't think I own any less than 2a.
Oh, and about the included white headphones. Quality is about the same as a cheapo walmart pair. You're NOT missing anything by NOT using them. hahahaha
Thanks for the info. I do frequently charge from my PC. I have a lot of wallwarts - maybe the Note 10.1 charger (not cord) will work as well.
Yeah, those headphones don't look appetizing - even if they were in black. Mine are scheduled for my son. He has an iPhone (guess what color).
The included charger is a little beefier than my previous s4 charger. But not too much. 5.3 at 2.5a vs 5.0 and 2.0

so I took my kiddo to his street hockey practice (outside on a asphalt rink with a ball and running)... but anyway.. i had my headphones in.. using my new Note.. and someone said. Oh you got the 5s huh... I laughed out loud... (but I know him so can bust his [email protected])...
I said.. oh yeah and why do you say that.. he said.. umm cuz of the white headphones.. so I said.. I knew it people would think that so time to get black cuz I dont want to be a poser...
he looked dumbfounded... so someone with a 5s came by and put his phone next to mine... and it looked so cute.. so small.. and like such a toy...
they were all amazed at the all mighty Note 3... but mistaken it for a ipcrud due to white headphones... sheeze...
Yeah, I think that the white accessories got me because my son has his iPhone in white and it reminds me of it.
But I do just prefer black, AND white with black, in this case, looks very OFF. Cheaper to produce only one color and supply it - easy way to increase cost to consumer if they want matching accessories. Everyone I talked to about getting the white with the black said "I wouldn't want that either."

I've got the Jaybird bluebuds and they are great. I replaced the tips for some foamy ones and they fit great.
The sound is awesome and I've never had a problem with the battery.
I recommend them

They Jaybird Freedom Sprint has Apt-X. I use this one. It has very crappy battery life at 4.5 hours. But then again it is targeted only for working out and so is more than sufficient for a workout session hell even two days off Strictly workout sessions.
I know a LG representative that has the tones and all bias aside he loves them he's a boxer. When he trains he says they do not move even when he sweats. And they also have phenomenal battery life, but for me I would just use the J birds if I was strictly doing workouts.
If you are looking for something that is to replace your headphones and you want to go wireless all around, then I would recommend the Bluedio R+ bluetooth headphones. They are apt X bluetooth 4 NFC and has a slot for microSD card so if your phone is dead and use a micro SD card for your music you can just pop it in the headphones and be good to go! All of this for under $100. Its roughly under a hundred if you order from China or you can get them on Amazon and ebay for about $120 to $140.
I ordered mine from http://m.aliexpress.com/item/1174967490.html
Mine are on the way so I have not tested it personally but if you read all reviews about them everyone has something good to say about it. They are apparently the best in their class for the money if you like to listen to music with alot of bass.

One thing I forgot to mention about the J bird freedom sprint is that it is the second version the one right before the blue but X. The new ones are horrible in terms of sitting in your ears that is the number one thing you read about them. This sounds post to be excellent and so the battery life at about eight and a half hours but what is the point if they can't even fit in your ears comfortably while you're working out.
However the freedom Sprint version which is roughly 80 dollars, is the most comfortable earphones that I have tried. Even the call mic quality is good. They do not fall out if you use the honeycomb shape inserts, which taper off at the end in the same shape as that little groove in your ear right above the ear hole...and it just clicks right in

Not used any BT 4.0 headphones/receivers yet, but been very happy with the Samsung HS3000 for more than a year now. BT 3.0 but with Apt-X, love the versatility of being able to use different headphones with it - IEM for exercise/when portability is of paramount importance, full-sized cans when wanted, or even connecting to stereos etc via 3.5mm-3.5mm cable. Can be had really pretty cheap now too, around the $30USD mark.

The problem with the Jaybirds is that they care about sound quality, so the openings where the sound comes out are really large for a pair of ear buds. This in turn makes it hard to find comfortable tips that fit in your ears.
The tips that come with the buds are all too large to sit comfortably and they all feel like they are going to fall out (though they never actually have)
I recently went to target and found some foam tips in the bargain bin. I forced them over the tips of the bluebuds and it solved all the problems. They fit great and I never feel like it is going to fall out.

They can be pricey, but the battery lasts up to 8 hours, comes with a lifetime warranty, and they are really quality built.
Even the packaging is impressive. Sweat proof.
I'm telling you, I'd buy them again, and I'm a cheapskate.
you guys are right about the LG Tones+. They are awesome! I forget I'm even wearing them half the time because they're so lightweight. Also, they sound amazing, I don't need BT 4.0 for them to work great, they have AMAZING battery life (rated for 10, not 8 hours for music) and I used them all day at work 2 days in a row, while still having the battery on 'medium'. That was 2 10 hour shifts too.
I didn't think I'd like the design, because I thought it looked clunky, but like I said I barely can tell I'm wearing them. Maybe once my Fiance sees them she'll think otherwise on the styling, which is when I'll probably pick up the ankers, but for now, these work wonderfully and impressed me.
The only gripe I have (and this isn't specific to this headset, it pertains to all BT headsets) is I can only pair with two deices at once, unless I'm mistaken? I want to use this with my new MBP, my iPad and my Note III. My PS3 would be an added bonus, anyone know how to accomplish this or if I'm just being a newb and doing it wrong?
My Jaybird Bluebuds X work great as well. You can buy the tips from the site below.

I know those are too expensive for what you actually said but I got them 2 weeks ago and I'm simply blown away. I bought LG-Tone+ 700. I like them alot but they won't be 20 or 30 bucks US. I assume probably Close to 40 or 50. I got mine from Amazon but since I live in Europe, they cost me 55 euros. Best Investment because I've bought 100 Dollar wired headphones that aren't as good as these.
+1 on the LG tone, on sale you can get them for slightly under 40. Haven't had to buy new headphones for over a year now with these things because there aren't any wires to get messed up with prolonged use. Went through so many pairs of headphones where it broke near the 3mm jack. No more problems

I have owned the Lg hbs700 and the 730. Both are excellent bluetooth headphones for the price. I recently purchased a pair of Arctic p311's because I had a $30 giftcard to Tiger Direct and could not find anything else that I wanted from them. I have to say that I am absolutely blown away from the sound that these produce for under $30.
I have a pretty big head and although they don't look like they would be comfortable, they very much are! They also stay in place if you want to use them in the gym. The Lg models always slip off when laying down to do bench pressing.
Here is a link to them from Amazon if you want to check them out.

The earpieces look bulky but are surprisingly light.

I just need some BT headphones for light exercise, running, etc. Bought these tonight due to the good reviews. Its behind the head style Bluetooth headphones with built in microphone (although reviews say the mic is garbage, it's not why I want it, anyway).

Also, for $10 less (approximately $20, total) you can get one model lower. It has equally good reviews but is said to have a little less sound quality and has no built in microphone.

Thanks for your suggestion. And not trying to start ****, but I would rather get no response than someone suggesting $100 headphones. That is why I asked about cheaper headphones. Thanks for your suggestion. And not trying to start ****, but I would rather get no response than someone suggesting $100 headphones. That is why I asked about cheaper headphones. It was your response that led me to respond as I did. If you don't appreciate the help you get, don't ask for help at all. People are doing it because they are trying to be HELPFUL. Ignore what doesn't work for you by $20 or so (and, you get what you pay for), and instead look at the cheaper suggestions. Posting a snarky comment about people not reading your EXACT parameters and posting what they did is honestly, NOT going to engender people from helping next time.

These sure seem legit. http://1sale.com/electronics/audio-gaming/backbeat-go2-wireless-earbuds/

Arctic p311 review

I just need some BT headphones for light exercise, running, etc. Bought these tonight due to the good reviews. Its behind the head style Bluetooth headphones with built in microphone (although reviews say the mic is garbage, it's not why I want it, anyway).

Kinivio makes a great affordable headphone
I was notified of this set on slickdeals last week from Newegg.com for 20 bucks, they are fantastic, comfortable and have a great battery life. Right now they are 30 bucks. So I ordered one and lo and behold I open the package yesterday, guess what...Newegg accidentally sent me 2 lmao! Scooore! Seriously though they sound way better than my cheapo pair of insignia before, plus those had the mesh part of the earpiece breakoff and they were just uncomfortable as all hell to wear. These Kinivios have padding instead, very comfortable.

I'm looking for some BT earbuds that I can wear while I'm mowing my yard but I'd like some that have the ear plug type material on the buds that you squeeze, then put in your ears and they expand a little, rather than just rubber so that they will block out the sound of the mower. Any suggestions?

You should go invest in an electric mower made by Black & Decker, its very quiet enough to cup cake with ya girl while mowing the lawn... I can mow the lawn at 2am and not wake a soul with the right lighting of course.
AND then go find a pair LG Tone+ and change the ear buds to the type your talking about... You will thank me for both.

Thanks, I'm actually looking at the LG Tone+, the only thing that concerns me is I see a lot of people complaining about choppy music playback.
As far as an electric mower I recently looked at those but it won't last long enough on a charge to mow my yard. It takes 3 to 3.5 hours on a rider plus1 hour with a push mower. Our yard is huge. Thank you for the suggestions.
Jaybird bluebuds 8hrs battery life.
LG Tone or Tone+ with foam tips. Or Sony SBH50 with any headset plug in that you prefer.

Thanks a lot, you've helped me make my decision. Are the foam tips included, if not where are you getting them?

LG Tone+...I have the 700's and they're great. I replaced the earbuds with comply's. I got the 400tx I think but I'd have to look. I replace all the earbuds with comply's. Those are the foam earbuds and I get the one's that keep the ear wax out of the holes.
@airmaxx23... Never had any choppy music playback, ever. As a matter of fact. I got everyone in the office wearing them. Dang headphones are the best. AND LOL at that yard size.... sounds more like a farm. I used to have a yard that took 2 hours with a rusty push mower. Hated doing the yard.

Thanks again, I picked some up and really like them a lot. I almost wish it was a farm, it would be a lot easier to mow, I'd have fewer trees and rocks to go around.

Just so you know... the people rolling around with choppy music probably have the fakes or knock-off versions. I seen someone with really bad replicas, told me they were the 760s... i lol'd.
thanx alot about the information

Glad you like your purchase. The actual ear buds are JBLs... the head set is LG. I thought they were gonna be weird for exercise and work and etc. Nope... comfy on the collar and easy on the ear. Best part is they use apt-x... so they sound great no need to use any third party equalizer.

informed by someone with a fake ver. maybe?
I'm using the Backbeat Go by Plantronics. They sound amazing and last forever on a charge. They use aptx as well.

Unfortunately most electronics that are popular are duplicated, often sold via ebay, websites, swapmeets, farmer markets, and out the back of people's trucks. I have learned this is not limited to electronics but also accessories, purses, wallets, clothes, and etc. My first Spigen case was a fake sview case I found at the swap meet for $20... if I would have known I was getting a fake I would have just went online and spent $5 online for it.
Once I bought a pair of Japanese brand headphones off ebay. They sounded absolutely heavenly for about a week. One day I put them on, the band snapped in half with ease. I was shocked. Since they had a 5 year warrenty... I RMA'd them... the JP company sent my email to the USA office which in turn messaged me. Told me they didn't have an EBAY seller that was legit. They sent me a brand new pair for free... with a return label for the fakes and details of who i bought them from. YEP. Turns out they had one of their parts companies in china making the rest of the headset and selling them on ebay at 20% the retail cost.
Long story short don't trust everyone selling "name brand" items. In the case of your friend... he could have auth LG Tone+ headphones with a bad board in them or bad speaker. Who knows. He could using a pair of fakes and doesn't know what bliss he is missing out on.

I looked at these as well but they claim up to only 4.5 hours of listening/talk time when the Tone+ is 15 hours talk or 10 hours listening.
