Hey guys, I just flashed the 3minit framework mod on my VZW GS4 and I was wondering if there was any way to have a solid color or solid black pull down notification window instead of the pull down panel being completely transparent? Let me know! Thanks guys. Also, if I decide I don't like the 3minit framework and decide to get rid of it, is there a way to "uninstall" it, or do I have to do a restore from a backup BEFORE 3minit was flashed?
EDIT: Nvm, I found it! Haha I was looking at old posts which is why I thought you couldn't change the notification drop down transparency.
I even didn't liked the 3minit framework it messed up my device, any ideas to remove all of it, my device was much better before this

I am on stock touchwiz and rooted. I want something like 3minit framework so that I can customize my notification panel. I would like to have the time centered mostly and other less important tweaks.
Use either 3minit or Xposed, both work with the S4. I got Xposed with a center clock, plus other goodies.
I'm in the same boat. Stock rooted. Most of those mods say they require a deodexed rom. I did flash the mod to remove the ongoing wifi notice though. The only other things I want are center clock and hide alarm/gps icons. Id love to know results if anyone has tried 3minit or multimod on stock odex.
Hi, I have been using some of your very useful information since I got an international S3 I9300, and got to tweak the original theme a little. Thanks for that.
So I'm using go launcher X, xposed framework and some modules which gave me the transparent status bar and some new icons.
But I cannot get the transparency in notification tray, behind notifications or clock.
Does anybody know if it is possible? Is there any module for xposed framework which actually can do that?
Hope somebody can help me. Thanks in advance.
I have the GS3 (Int.) and will be modding my status bar to make it more like the android 4.4 leak (nice and transparent) or like the transparent GS4 status bar. Try this module. it's the closest I could find: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2457265 . I will be doing this exact thing later on today. The link has the details and a video if you need help from that. Here is a video walkthrough that I will be following later on today: goo.gl/NJVFUc . Copy-paste the link into the search bar without www at the start.
I think it is what you might be looking for. Hope I helped. Press thanks if I was useful.
Hi, thanks for your answer I'm going to check that module, altought I already have the transparency working on my status bar and part of the notification tray. You ca see it at: postimg.org/image/emo5qk48x/ or postimg.org/image/7jpf3f07p/
It's just this part of the notification tray which I can't get to be transparent postimg.org/image/i0vhk77fl/
Actually I'm using xblast module and xquicksetting toggles to get those transparent parts but it can't get the transparency behind the clock or the notifications "per se"
If you have any idea about it, please let me know. Thanks again
Sorry man. Don't know about that. Nice WP BTW.
Since we'll most likely won't get KitKat on our device, I decided to edit the statusbar on the stock, deodexed, ICS rom that I use as a daily driver. A transparent statusbar, custom battery icons, a KitKat wallpaper and Nova launcher would be good enough for me.
So I followed this guide and succeeded in making the statusbar 100% transparent. Problem is that it also remaines transparent when the statusbar is pulled down and in certain apps. For example in Gmail the bar turns white so the icons in the statusbar can't be seen. In Maps it remains transparent so you'll see your icons twice and a bit overlapping.
When using apktool, does anyone know which lines need to be edited in what app to only make the statusbar transparent in home- and lockscreen?
Thanks in advance!

Use Xposed framework and Xblast tools...why are you going hard way when there is easy one

Thanks for the tip, already tried achieving it with Xposed and Xblast but it doesn't seem to work. Most likely because I'm still in ICS. I know I know I should upgrade etc but I just like ICS better
Will dive into the SystemUI, Rosie and framework-res apk's a bit more to see if I can find how the statusbar background is set and with what actions.
Please do something like that .... I would love to try that on my DX
Just wondering if there's even any who had already managed to mod the battery icons in stock KitKat ROMs?
The battery icon images are not there anymore in SystemUI and the stat_sys_battery/battery_charge xmls aren't there either. Could be hard-coded already or something, I got no clue LoL
Missing those fancy icons already

In KitKat 4.4, battery icons are drawn by program in SystemUI.apk, rather than image icons. You can still find battery icons and two xml files in framework-res.apk. However, they are not working for status bar.
Until now, I have not seen any report showing changing color of battery icons. This is also my interest.
hi guys. i tried it with Gravitybox but 5 second after it remove, it appears again. what should i do? any app or systemui modifimodification ?
Settings>Battery>Scroll down too "Percentage on status bar" move slide to disable
i think you don't have eyes to read the title
U Want to remove %. Thats the way u do it.
but.. nice insult.
r u kidding? it remove battery percentage not percent symbol
Ok my bad kid.
What version of Android are you running and do you have/ do you want to have Xposed installed?
official 6.0.1. xposed v80 by wanam is installed
That's a good start then chap. I'm sure there's a module called flat bar icons, or something like that, that allows you to change all the icons on the notification bar, I used to have it but never delved to deep into it. I think that allows you to lose the percentage sign.
yes flat style bar indicator is a good app tnx.
No worries man, hope it solves your dilema
this app is great. but still there is one thing that annoying me. stock statusbar icons' color automatically change from white to black when statusbar become white, but flat style don't have this feature.
so i'm looking for solution. also i'm thinking about editing systemui to remove percent sign and adding other feature to statusbar. Do you know any post or threat to helps me about it?
