Hello i have recently updated my ROM but sadly something happened with my service, it just said "no service" and i wasn't able to receive or take any calls so i installed this rom again from the recovery, and then when i rebooted this device, it suddenly stopped on the green goblin logo loading screen and my device was unrecognized by a PC, recovery didn't work... so i tried a RoFUSiON which can install a rom through the pc but my device, as i said, wasn't and isn't recognized anymore. What i can do? i can't even charge it, last night i connected it to the charger and let it on. When i woke up and unplugged it, it had no battery! probably it wasn't chargning, it was discharging, and the only way i can turn my mobile on, is plugging it to the usb, doesn't matter if into the power socket or usb-to-usb, even the screen lights up without the battery but still i can't go to the recovery or fastboot (probably, because as i said my device isn't recognized so either that's the problem either fastboot doesn't work). Everytime I plug in Nook Charging cable it keeps booting over and over. If I plug in my samsung galaxy cable it charges but the moment I plug in it just turns off completely and wont turn on until I unplug. I originally had a dual boot system running for 1.4.0 which is my nook version and tried to do a recovery which said successful from the file I created but when I rebooted the whole system didnt know what to use for what and kept asking then crashing. I factory wipe/reset after the problem started and upgraded to CM10 cynogen mod with the new JellyBean no duel boot. RUNS AMAZING. But the charging problems still remains, even when I booted stock after factory reset it was still doing this. I have CWM installed internally. Please help me I have looked over many threads one said it was an update problem created with AdobeFlash updates and I tryed to flash the fix listed but it just says error during install and aborts. Also it will stay on during the cynogen mod boot screen even if i plug in either charger but at the top it just says "Charging Disabled" says the precent. I left it plugged in at this screen and it didnt charge one percent after 30 minutes.
I just want to charge it and have it on at the same time. Please any help, any ideas and comments is appreciated. Thank You
i have this problem too. I'm using CM10. My battery died and wouldn't charge no matter how long I had it plugged in for.
Then recently it turned on, but when it is plugged into the wall, it just constantly reboots.
Any help?

I've got Lenovo s650, rooted with a custom rom (MIUI). All was perfect for weeks but few days ago it started randomly going off. Then I noticed that sometimes when I listen to music it crashes (making the music freeze and repeat same note for like 10secs) and shuts down. I thought it could be related to some apps but since I was very busy I didn't do anything about it.
Now today I noticed that my phone suddenly lost network coverage (in area where I always use it). I tried airplane mode on/off but didn't help, so I powered off and thought I will do hard reset when I get back home. However since then the phone is completely dead. Can't get into recovery, if I plug into USB nothing happens, if I take out the battery the red light turns and it goes to "META" mode for few secs (as it's intended to) but I can't download anything into it as I get some DRAM error in Upgrade /flash/ tool.
Funny thing that somehow I was trying all the combinations Volume up/down/both + power and at some point I randomly managed to turn it on so I was gonna make a backup of my stuff but it froze and shut down again. Now nothing works......
Any ideas what happened? :/
Some additional info:
I've got TWRP recovery (however I am unable to re-download it again via flashtool because of DRAM error).
I tried getting into adb but I am not sure if it's possible when the phone is off (tried volume button combinations with battery in and out but nothing).
Also when my phone is with battery and I put it into USB, pc recognizes it as "MTK USB Port", but it keeps disconnecting and reconnecting every 5 seconds. Tried to replace it with adb USB driver but didn't work.
Not having a phone I'll probably give a "Format all" option a shot in flash tool... either gonna brick it forever or fix it..
Edit1: Can't even format due to DRAM error....... :/
Edit2: This is so bizarre... I managed to connect my phone a couple of times in Mediatek preloader mode so the flash tool started flashing the rom, but stopped in a few mins unable to format something because it's protected.
I also managed to turn on the phone a couple of times and tried connecting via adb, but once I grant root permissions, adb shell on my pc cannot find device anymore.
It seems like either a hardware or kernel problem but I know nothing about either of them..
Edit3: I don't know how but I fixed it. Phone seems to be fine for now
Edit4: After 1 hour of working the phone died in exactly the same way.... And so this 6-week old phone will be going to rubbish bin. End of my blog.
can anyone help with unbricking lg-t385? friend gave me the phone saying it just turned itself off and after that it doesnt work (as always, nobody touched anything :/ )
when turned on it hangs at LG logo, if i remove the battery and connect it to pc the same happens although by the plugged in sound on the pc you can tell that the phone is connected, it even shows up in device manager. if you remove the battery and plug in a wall ac charger the same happens, phone turns on and hangs at the logo. tried pressing all the combination of keys to get to recovery or hard reset. nothing works.
flashing, rooting, unbricking etc is not new to me, but this is my first lg and first non android phone for that matter.
tried flashing with LG Mobile Support Tool without luck cause it doesnt recognize the phone.
can someone please help, or just point me in the right direction as to how to reset it to factory or flash stock?

So, i'll start from the beginning of my issues with my xperia Z2, allmost two weeks of reasearch but nothing. I bought this phone preused and with broken digitizer, fixed everything and turned it on, booted up and everything was fine. Phone offered update wich i did and it was the beginning of my troubles. Boot loop was first thing, and few other things wich lead me into buying new genuine battery. I literally spent a day to get out of boot loop by disconnecting the battery, tried to reset and all sorts of thing and still don't know which of those many things actually worked but i got it booted up finally.
So yesterday i took it out of the box again and thought to update it to latest 5.1.1 Lollipop via wifi because i can't get phone into flashmode, so while installing update (android logo with blue loading line) my phone turned off. I turned it on again and same thing, android logo with blue loading line half done and turned off, and again and again. Finally disconnected the battery, connected usb cable to the wall charger, connected battery and red light poped on, so i let phone to charge, after few hours i turned my phone ON and voila, somehow i got latest android installed.. go figure.
When i bought this phone the rear camera didn't work, i saw the icons but didn't take any picture. Did cache clear and other tricks i found from google but nothing works, im not sure but i guess this issue came when last owner updated it from kitkat to lollipop.
So heres my biggest problem, to downgrade z2 to kitkat i need to flash it, but i can't..
When phone is on my pc will recognize it.
When power + VolDown, green led pops on (flashmode) and after few secons i get usb device not recognized. (Tryied some tricks that i found from google, no succsess)
When power + VolUp, blue led pops on (fastboot mode) and flashtool is actually connecting with the phone like it's suppose to be.
Im using Flashtool Version 0.9.19.8 and all necessary drivers are installed, included sony ones. I also Tried different usb ports and different pc, same thing.

Hi. I have a problem with a bricked Samsung Galaxy S7, SM-G930F (the Exynos one). A bought it a few years ago and let someone root it to play around with it. I got it back recently and it didn't turn on. I had the battery replaced which allowed me to turn it on, to a "no command" message. I got it into recovery mode. I chose "factory reset" to try to bring it back to a working state. That didn't help, so I booted into download mode and was able to flash the latest firmware; I made sure it was the correct one for this model. It would reboot to a screen with the Android logo and a message of "erasing" with rotating arrows on the Android that stopped after a few seconds. If I left it plugged in, it would stay like that indefinitely. If I unplugged it it would turn off within a few seconds. For a while I could still get it to come up in download mode, but now it does nothing no matter which buttons I press. No lights come on when I plug it into a USB charger, although a wireless charger seems to detect it as the charger's red LED comes on. Following advice on this forum for a bricked S8, I left it not charging for 24 hours to see if it would drain the battery completely, letting me try again. That didn't work; no matter how long I charge it or what buttons I press, nor whether it's plugged into the charger or computer or not, nothing happens. There's no way to tell if it is charging. I have evidence that it works since I was able to flash the firmware and that process went smoothly, but I can't get it back to that mode. Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I flashed the stock firmware before the phone became unresponsive. Now I can't flash anything since none of the buttons have any effect. and the phone is not recognized by my PC.

If you can't access phone by means of Odin then with 99.9% certainty phone's boot-loader is broken. Put phone into e-waste.
If it was a Qualcomm device I'd be able to help you through EDL flashing. Since it's not I do believe your not able to flash it at this point as already said by the user above my reply
