I just purchased recently a HDC Galaxy Note 3- Snapdragon APQ8064 Quad Core 1.7GHz 5.0inch IPS HD Android 4.2.2 Phone. How to have CWM install on this phone?
Help appreciated.
Try the many apps on the market for the right cwm for your phone. e.i. Rom manager. Clockwork has its own app also.

Do not do this as your phone is bot a real galaxy note and you most probably will end up with a brick. You could try searching for one or make your own from source.

I didn't say anything about flashing it right away, one has to check compatibility, I didn't think I had to mention that because it's so obvious...

Flashing a firmware is not problem. I can use SP Flash Tools for this as well as rooting the phone. However, I need a CWM as this comes with more functions as compare to the stock recovery.

How far along is the upload? I'm asking simply because if it's nearly done I'll wait for it, but if it's only at say 40% I'll run out and do some errands.
Thanks

He was putting up b19 for the note 2 when you tried to reach him and he also had a death in the family this week.
Honestly guys, though I agree that he puts out great ROMs it may be worth keeping in mind that much of what he gives you in a rom you can do yourself with minimal effort. Install Xposed Framework yourself, a different launcher, all the tweaks you want via xposed and other means. I can tell you that via xposed and Nova I have all the apps on a custom dpi on my note 8, my icons the way I want them, and via widget locker a aosp like lock screen. Beans puts together for you what is readily available out there right now for you to do yourself pretty easily.
Did he not have a device donated to him, or am I thinking of someone else?

Yes we did donate this device to him...
I have been a beans fan for a long time, since the s3 days. He was the first dev I ever donated too. His work is amazing and he is a good dude. It's just a little frustrating because he has been super active on the s4 which came out around the same time as the note 8.0. (I know because I have an s4 as well)
As for learning to dev or or installing the simple things, I already have. I have imported many things from his note 2 rom (for personal use only) but I'm know beanstown!!!!
All in conclusion beans a good dude, and I will continue to support him. I was being selfish

Thanks, ive seen that already but couldn't get it to work. I downloaded the mod on my phone, then installed it through the twrp recovery thing. Is this the right method? Or do I have to do the command prompt flash thing on my pc? Sorry I'm still naive to these things

That's kernel panic guy. He's annoying.
Power off phone, let it cool down, then power on into whatever mode ya want. Should work fine.
If not, reflash current recovery (make sure you're flashing the proper version of either TWRP or Philz CWM, made for KitKat).

Hey all,
I'm hoping someone can post the stock Sprint dialer stuff. I'm on the Sprint G2 using a G3 rom and there are issues with the dialer app crashes when the device is set as Sprint. I'm thinking that Sprint may have a carrier specific dialer app that isn't present in this rom and that's why it crashes. If anyone can post these files it wold be much appreciated.
