[Q] Liquid Smooth 2.7 jfltevzw handsfree issues - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Hey, just flashed Liquid 2.7 for my S4 and everything seems to work great, except for hands-free calls through the included S4 headphones. I go to make a phone call with my headphones plugged in and no joy. I've also tried pulling them in while on an existing call and they don't work either.
Has anyone else experienced issues with making hands-free calls with Liquid 2.7 jflevzw? Just shooting in the dark, maybe installing Xposed might help?

Quick update, when making a call via my BT headset while my headphones are plugged in (or plugging them in during call) I have all my sources available to me: BT Headset, Wired Headset, Phone, Phone Speaker. When I change to the wired headset, no call audio comes through, but phone interaction noises route through the headphones.
I've tried to fix permissions through TWRP, but no change . That's about the only troubleshooting I've done.
Also, if you're thinking of flashing to Liquid, know GPS is a little funky. You need to turn off Wifi & mobile network location (Settings/personal/location) or GPS won't work.

Apparently this is an AOSP issue according to the guys over in the DEV forum.

[Q] No Bluetooth Audio - Transmission or Reception - on Phone calls

I have a Jawbone ICON bluetooth headset. I used it with my iPhone 3Gs with no problems. I got the Galaxy S2 last week and installed Villain Rom. I paired up the headset and it worked great. A couple of days later I tried it again and there is no audio at all. It doesn't send my voice and I don't hear what the other person is saying. I do hear the various beeps, etc to show a call is being made, but as soon as there is a connection - nada.
I CAN use the headset to listen to audio from a video so the headset is working correctly. The pairing is fine and I can actually use the button on the headset to set the volume of the call - but no sound.
I've tried:
1) updated firmware on Jawbone to latest, includes A2DP
2) Installed Jawbone app on my phone - can see battery indicator, etc, etc
3) unpair/deleted the connection and recreated it
4) Made sure that both phone and media are selected for the connection
5) Updated Villain Rom to 2.4.2
6) retried steps 2-4 with latest rom
I'm sure that I didn't pair my headset until after I installed Villain the first time. I'm also sure that I didn't mess with the phone after it worked - because I was away for the weekend. I probably did install a couple of apps, but nothing related to bluetooth or that required root.
Any suggestions as to what to try next? I'm assuming that the audio is muted (can it be muted both directions?).
This is really important because I have the low microphone volume too (and any suggestions on that front would be appreciated too).
Just an update... Its finally working.
I believe the final solution was a manual reset of the headset. I also disconnected/unpaired the headset, repaired it and went into the bluetooth properties and removed permission to share media audio. After these changes it started working. Subsequently I went back in and re-enabled the media audio and it still works.
You would think updating the firmware would reset the headset, but apparently not.

[Q] Phone calling issues

Hi,
I have an S4 running CM 10.1-20130728-Nightly. When I connect to BT and a call comes in and I switch to speaking with the phone, the person I am talking to can never hear me. I have to switch my BT off for my phone microphone to work.
On a side note my BT connection is not good at all, that is why I switch to the phone speaker when a call comes in. The person I am speaking to through BT can never hear me without tons of static. It also cuts off while playing music.
My main concern is my phone microphone being affected when trying to talk on the phone while listening to music through BT.
Is this CM or my S4?
Please help, I love CM and would hate to have to switch.
Thanks,
Steve

[Q] ASK: app for using Bluetooth headset as a wireless sound system

Hi guys, i've been searching the internet with no avail, so now i hope the collective wisdom of XDAdevs can help me out.
I frequently need to do presentation on various places, and i fond thatO holding a microphone gets old really quick. I also believe in using my devices to the limit and beyond. I currently own a Plantronics edge bluetooth headset and a G3 phone.
so what I need is a way to use my bluetooth headset as a wireless microphone. In essence, what i need is to use the voice input on my bluetooth, transmit it to the phone, process it (if i want to) and output the result on real time to the 3.5 microphone jack, which i will connect to whatever sound system the room provides. Some apps I tried does the first part well enough, but unfortunately it transmits the output back to the bluetooth headset, and has no option to redirect it to the microphone jack. Can anyone help please? Much obliged.
Ps: my work frequently requires me to make phone calls without touching my phone or my headset. Can anyone recommend a good way to make the bluetooth headset phone 'listen' for keywords and voice dial my contacts selected numbers without me (or others) ever touching the phone or headset? Many thanks!

Bluetooth car stereo connecting as "(no phone)"

Hello,
Need some help with phone calls not passing through Bluetooth to my car stereo.
It's a new stereo, the old one died, but I could make/receive calls with it without any problems.
The new stereo recognises BT media audio, but not phone calls (incoming or outgoing).
The BT settings screen shows the car stereo as "Connected (no phone)"
I am using [ROM][Slim][6.0.1][AOSP_r74][Slim 6 For Kenzo][21/11/2016] and I saw two posts here and here from @DoubleDroz experiencing the same issue.
I would ask at that thread, but unfortunately it has been locked by @Umang96.
I've seen this problem mentioned before with some ROMs.
I know the phone's BT works fine because it worked with the previous car stereo only yesterday (and it works with the new stereo for media audio).
I've tried a few apps from the PlayStore but nothing sorted the issue.
Ideally, I'd like to stick with this ROM, old as it might be, as I find it just fine for my needs (I don't play any games, it's work only).
But if I have to install a different ROM to get bluetooth calls in the car I will because it is a necessity.
I don't want to install MIUI though, can't stand it.
I would use Krexus-CAF if it hadn't the issues with GPS navigation, which is also a necessity.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Hi, i found fix for bluetooth "NO PHONE" on car set. It's work on latest LOS rom. Follow this post.

Is there a fix for the ringing issue when bluetooth headsets are present?

When connected to a bluetooth headset, no matter "what" ROM i'm using, it seems to not ring to the phone. I've used all the apps that are supposed to redirect sound and they don't work well at all.
Thoughts?
Same issue here.
