I'm sorry because I do not want to open another thread.
I received some errors including an error: 7 while trying to install the ROM via CWM Recovery which was installed via X-Parts
How do I install the rom?
How do I know if I''m in an unlocked bootloader or a locked one

You should be on unlocked bootloader. Flash a custom kernel. If it gets flashed you'r on the right track.
Custom kernels have inbuilt cwm. So you dont need x-parts to install recovery.
Status 7 error can be avoided by opening rom zip. Go to meta-inf>google>android>updater script. Open it with notepad++ and delete first 6 lines that is device checking lines. And then save and zip the folder and flash. Done!

Hi
My xperia Neo V is in bootloop, stuck at sony logo. The phone is unblocked and rooted using the instruction http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1973017 , I have successfully rooted and taken nandroid backup using CWM. Then i tried to install Xperia Ultimate HD ROM. But now i am unable to boot my phone. Please help. I really appreciate any help.
Version: 4.0.4 ICS 4.1.B.0.587
Just flash stock ICS ftf file using flashtool or if u have nandroid backup, flash any stock based kernel like night-elf, sauve etc using flashtool in fastboot mode, goto CWM (custom kernels has built in recovery), restore the backup.. Done...

The new version of rom will also work with the old kernel, but maybe the new kernel has more fixes... So, its upto u.. If u want flash the new kernel or just flash the rom..
Sent from my Xperia neo V using Tapatalk 2
When did cm 10 become 4.2.1
Afaik its 4.1.2
Anyways, you can use use same kernel like Samak said but maybe the new kernel is there for a purpose(like new features, bug fixes)so you're free to flash new kernel
Or just keep your old kernel!
After all its not that old (matter of few days)

[Q] from KA02 xperia sspeed to kings rom

Hi everyone,
I'm still a little new to the whole flashing stuff of android!
A year ago I flashed my xperia u from stock android to KA02 xperia Sspeed.
This is the information:
- kernel: 2.6.35.7+ [email protected] #1
- build-number: KA02 xperia sspeed
Now I want to flash the kings rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1955630
But I need some more instructions than the ones given in the topic.
What do I need to do step by step to flash the kings rom?
Help is greatly appreciated, and I hope at a later day I can help someone here too!
Flash stock ICS first

So if i get this right:
First extract the zip, and then put the boot.img on the sd card
Second put the whole zip on the sd card
Third flash the boot.img, then flash the zip.
Correct?
No, you need to fastboot boot
.img then flash Rom

If I want to flash this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1946478 its also stuck on the boot screen ..
Instructions dont say that I need to flash boot.img first, so, whats the problem?
Well you can flash via CWM, but if you get any error then flash via fastboot, btw is there Boot.img at all? Yeah you can flash via CWM, but you sure you have Unlocked Bootloader?

Have u flashed it yet ?
Heya there mate , i was wondering if you have flashed it yet and how it works with you how is your battery etc .
I have it installed , its running pretty smooth and nice , with the proper apps u can make it run really light and ram free however im worried abit about battery usage cause it doesnt stay alive more than 9 hours
I had flashed cream caramel , it was smooth , got free ram and much internal space , but coming from officiallysonyrebel's 4.3 jb ROM I didn't have all the options present in this ROM , so switched back to heavy customizable 4.3 jb officiallysonyrebel ROM which i m using past one month
