First of all im new here and im from greece so simple words would be appreciated
second is the problem
i installed the minicm10 rom to my android x10 mini and the wifi didnt want to turn on so i tried to format it back to its first android version but i forgot the part where you have to format the data, system and cache file and that resulted in my phone turning off.
Now the phone doesn't turn on no matter what i do.
i connect it to my pc with pc companion and it doesn't show that my phone is connected
i pulled of the battery connection through that removable rubber thingie at the back of the phone, connected it again nothing.
tried to reset the phone nothing again
so if anyone knows what to do any help is appreciated

That doesn't make sense. because that wouldn't have deleted the kernel, you can only do that from the pc, not from the phone itself. And as long as the kernel is on there it will turn on. You must have done something else. Or your battery is completely empty, but i don't really think that that's it either. Try to put it on charge (wall-charger) anyway and see if that does something.

I don't know which format option you chose in that menu, but there's nothing in there that actually kills your phone. I assume it's still turned off now.. if you press the back-button and connect the usb-cable, does the green light come on?

did you have a hspl installed? try loading it from bootloader screen (battery pull then replace, hold volume toggle down , then power up. plug in usb and wait about 15 seconds, it should say usb at bottom of multicolor screen. try and reflash at this time.) good luck.

Hello guys.
I had just uptated my mini from 1.2 to 2.0 with Eclair. After the update i've had the (really) bad idea to replace the entire original 1.6 file build.prop instaed of changing just the number version.
My phone now just reboot itself.
I've leaved it alone and let the battery flat. After that ive tried to reflash it with sesu and pc-companion.
Tried every option but seems i can't reflash the same version of the firmware or downgrade it, build.prop in /system is from 1.2 version. (SEUS told me that my software is already out of date).
PC Companion, instead, show me a popup of connection problems but there isn't.
Any idea?
get the entire 2.1 build.prop back to it's place
flash with seus. it will come back

Lol, how can i put the file back in its position? Phone doesn't start.
And... Already told that SEUS and pc-companion was unable to flash the phone?
Anyway, i've flashed 1.6 with flashtool found here on XDA.
Thank you so much.

Keep hold of the Power and Middle (Home) buttons, once you see the Sony Ericsson logo let go of them and keep hold of the Menu button and it should boot up to Safe Mode.

Hey, I am running Free X10, and I recently re-flashed Bin4ry's "Dualtouch for all roms" file because it was working incorrectly. Now, that works, but when my X10 is turned off and I plug it in, it goes into Flash Mode for a few seconds before going into charge mode. It does this automatically, without me holding the "back" button, and it even does it when I use the wall socket. Any ideas as to what might be causing this and how to fix it?
Any suggestions/thoughts appreciated.
P.S. The phone works fine otherwise.
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, please move accordingly if so. Thanks

have u made a backup before flashing dual touch...??
Simply reflash complete firmware.
1. wrong forum.
2. it is not going into flash mode. just because the green led comes on does not mean it's in flash mode....it is just showing that there is power to the phone..It does this by turning on the led for a second since it can't just show a notification on the screen if it's powered off.

It never really did that before. It would simply stay blank, then come up with the orange LED and the Battery charging icon. Also, it takes longer to get to the charge mode because of this. Reboots when plugged in also has this happen.
Edit: No backup before reflash of dualtouch because it doesn't mess with any user data, its more of a plugin. Full article Here
yo ive had the same problem forever.. Sorry to say it but you can't get rid of it.. Well I can't at least.. Flashing new firmware..repairing withpc companion etc..
lol..
You can even take battery out while its in "flashmode" Right?
And it still stays green...
lmao..
Anyways if you figure out the solution...... Pm me please..
Best of luck ..

Can't even flash
I have a somewhat similar problem. When I try to plug the phone into flash mode, the green light goes on for 9 or 10 seconds, then goes into charging mode. I'm basically stuck with what I have. I can't flash to repair, and when Gingerbread comes in July I won't be able to flash into that I hope you find a solution cause this is killin' me.
If the loader is not sent within a certain amount of time it will either go to charge mode or power on.
Besides, when gingerbread comes out for it, do a factory reset, and then use the SEUS like you would.
Sent from X10a running 2.2.1 and of course, using XDA App
You can not just put your phone into flash mode without a separate app to tell your phone to be in flash mode...like seus or flashtool.
If you're using flashtool you must choose a file to flash for it to tell your phone "get ready to go to flash mode" If you aren't prompted by either app to put it in flash mode you won't be able to do it.
If flashtool doesn't work for you, use seus and go through the steps until your phone is in flash mode....once the green led is on & stays on you're in flash mode and you can close seus, then continue to use flashtool to flash your files.

Ok, that site seems to be quite sound.
Not sure what went wrong without the flashtool log, but get seus or pc companion to repair your phone, you will get back on stock firmware.
Leave your phone disconnected from your pc
Choose update (it can't find your phone because it's disconnected and give you a repair option)
Follow the instructions from there on.
Hope it works

You only need to connect it in flashmode. I'm guessing since you flashed the phone before you've got the right drivers already, so that should work.

Last thing doesn't matter too much
Did you put the ROM onto your sd-card before you flashed the kernel?
In that case just install it using CWM-recovery.
After that, do wipe data/factoryreset, wipe cache, in advanced menu do wipe dalvik-cache, wipe battery stats.
Otherwise, i hope your pc recognises your phone as mass-storage so you can copy the ROM to your sd-card regardless.
Should everything still fail, flash this using flashtool. It's the original 2.1 eclair Kernel and ROM.
After that, you can put the ROM onto your sd-card and flash the kernel again.

Can you connect your phone to the PC as mass storage?
(Boot into Recovery - Mounts and Storage - Mount usb-storage)
In that case, copy the ROM to the sd-card and install it using CWM.
If not, follow the instructions in my last paragraph.
You should really have the ROM onto your sd-card before you flash a new kernel, just so you know for next time you try.

6.selct the room zip
7.reboot

yep, but don't forget to wipe dalvik-cache and battery-stats in the advanced menu too.
If it doesn't boot first time, restart it with power-home buttons, boot into recovery and do the wipes again, after that it should work fine.
How can I remove the battery and do a "force boot"? The phone is stuck on the recovery screen. I'm unable to restart/boot.
I think the only way it's to remove the battery.
Can someone helpme? the battery appears to be glued to the phone.
Thanks
Update:
I was able to execute the recovery and restore my backup. But after that the phone turned off, now It does not turn on at all.
I'm trying the power + volume up. The phone respond with the first vibration, then the next three, then, nothing happens.
The phone does not connect on the PC. There's no connection. It's not recognized by flashtool. I'm unable to update, change roms, I need to at least connect it.
if I plug the usb cable the red light appears and keep blinking slowly...
