Waiting:
Earlier today, HTC Taiwan officially announced that the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean starts rolling out to one of its lower range devices – HTC Desire X.
The HTC Desire X users will get the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean together with the Sense 4+. Opps! Not the Sense 5 yet as the HTC One is the only device that runs on Sense 5 at the moment.
You can check for the update from the “Settings” of your device. Tell us if your device had received the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and Sense 4+.

Brilliant. Always good to see productive new members.
No. But peanut brittle does.
Must you treat newbies like this?
No, our device don't have 4.1 update.
Still waiting for Samsung to unveil their list of eligible devices for the upgrade: http://www.tweaktown.com/news/24750...evices_will_get_jelly_bean_upgrade/index.html
I have little faith of SGS2 getting the 4.1 upgrade though. Since Samsung already denied upgrade for just a 4.0.4..
Please refer to here for any and all JB discussion.
As the title suggests, I am hunting for a ZTE Merit (Z990G) compatible version of the new Android 4.1 Jellybean. I've been searching for a few hours on google, other forums and this forum with no results. The closest I've come to is one for the ZTE Skate, but I don't want to risk a brick due to incompatibility. My phone is rooted successfully already, I just need the ROM now.
*edit*
I would also settle on ICS (ice cream sandwhich) if that is available.

Should be 1st quarter 2013
It will be released OTA eventually because it is on the 4.2 update list.
this is a quote from that same site:
"The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box which means that an upgrade to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is virtually guaranteed. Rumors peg the roll out as taking place in the first quarter of next year though Samsung remains mum on the subject. In any event, owners of the latest phablet from Samsung need not worry about Android 4.2. It will be out at some point"

I'm sorry but i'm kinda new to the android world, and recently i've acquired a Samsung S2. But i'm having some troubles regarding some stuff.
I've noticed Jellybean has already a scheduled release to february in Singapore.
I know that ICS is android 4.0.
My question is, Jellybean is 4.1.2 or 4.2.1 ? im kinda confused tbh
Jelly bean is both its android 4.1 up android 4.1 was the first jelly bean and 4.2 is the next version with a widget lock screen and better clock and keyboard

You could have answered this very easily without any effort yourself without creating a topic.
Just from a simple google search of "Android jelly bean" the first result very clearly tells you that JB is Android 4.1

XDA rule #1 is search before creating a topic.
Also, there is 4.2.2 to be released

I don't know about official ways but try root and then install a custom rom with sense 4+ .
Sent from my HTC One X+ using xda app-developers app
Swap your phone with one of the many of us who despise Sense 4+, want to get 4.2.2, but HTC can't be bothered to release it for us.
