I am using HTC Desire X (Unrooted with JB and sense Version 4+) and from the last 2-3 days I am having trouble updating/downloading Apps from the market(Play Store) the error shown is "App cannot be updated/downloaded due to an error." with the error code 927 or 403 or 923.
Please Help Me....
You tried to reboot? It helps often. Also make sure that you have enough space left on your phone and on your sdcard.

Error 927 and 903 means an error in network error mostly with your network hit a reboot or refresh your network
If you still experience worst case hit clear cache and data on your playstore app in settings>all apps
tried all such options
i have tried all these options like reboot, clear cache and even uninstall updates. Also i have tried to remove and reset my google account but the problem is still there.
Make a backup of all your apps and other stuffs with "supper backup" and do factory reset and restores all stuff again..

you wiped Play Store's data from App Info?
I had your problem once and it proved to be from Google Server...it repaired by itself...

Short Question:
How do I fix the "Error while downloading (app name). There is insufficient space on the device." with CleanRom 2.7
Long Question/Explanation:
Okay, so I just got my EVO 3D on Sprint yesterday and I rooted (Revolutionary) and installed the CleanRom 2.7. I am having issues downloading apps from the market. When I go to install I get the error "Error while downloading (app name). There is insufficient space on the device." I was wondering if there's a working/confirmed way to fix this permanently. I can clear the market Cache and Data and then download, but I have plenty of space to download in the first place. I'm sure this has already been discussed but I did a search and didn't see anything. I had the error first with Angry Birds and so I went into the storage setting and ran the "Make More Space" option. Then I was able to download Angry Birds, after that I went to download Twitter and got the same error, went directly to the Market under manage apps and cleared the cache and deleted the data. At which point I was able to install Twitter. If anyone knows how to fix this error it would be greatly appreciated. And again, sorry if this has already been posted.

If you're sure you have space on the /data partition, maybe these applications are attempting to install on your sdcard. Does your /sdcard also have sufficient space?
Simple method to check: Settings -> SD & phone storage .. this will list SD card available space and Internal storage available space.
Hope that helps!
Reboot to recovery and wipe dalvik and cache, again.
Also try going to settings/apps/manage apps/market and clear all data and cache.
It could also be the Google Backup/Restore feature. I found that every time I flashed a new ROM, no matter which one it was, and if I signed into my Google account while doing the initial setup on the ROM, it would automatically start restoring my apps from the Google servers. I would then be hit with the insufficient space error whenever I'd try to install a new app.
What I did to fix that issue was after flashing the new ROM, instead of entering in all my account info during setup, I would just skip everything, and get to my home screen. Then hit Menu -> Settings -> Privacy, and make sure the backup, and restore boxes are unchecked.
You can then go into Menu -> Settings -> Accounts & Sync, and then add your Google account and any other accounts you want to sync.
That made the issue go away for me. Hope it helps you too.

i had this happen to me as well, and this is what I did to resolve the problem
Recently did a factory reset, then rooted and unlocked.
Since then I'm getting errors downloading apps. This seems to occur only over the wireless connection, not over Wifi. I have verified that I can access the SD-card and external SD-card. have plenty of available storage space (per Settings/Storage): 2.58 GB app, 8.43 GB internal, 29.06GB SD card. Also have a good data connection per browser/weather app use!
These are the two errors I am seeing when trying to download apps from Google Play:
"App xyz" could not be downloaded due to an error. (923)
Error downloading "App xyz". There is insufficient space on the device.
Searched to find a fix, but couldn't find a good answer. Can anyone help me?
I would flash Th3bill's full wipe @ http://www.jokersax.com/developer-pages/th3bill/809-2/ then flash your rom.
if that doesn't work, you'll have to go back to stock sbf and see if that fixed it. if OK, root... if OK, unlock. an incremental way to isolate the issue.

Dont do a full wipe just yet... Just go to settings, manage apps, click on play store, click clear data, then reboot. This will probably fix it.

1. under settings/apps go to google store.
2. cache and data reset.
3. update deinstall, and akzept reset to google store basic version !
4. delete googlemail account under accounts&syncronisation.
5. go to google store app, insert googlemail account new.
google store meanwhile has updated to newest version and will keep runing fine again now ! :good:
This can sometimes happen after a fresh install and gapps tries to throw every update it has logged for you at the phone. just retry after installing what sticks. usually sorts it. many phones have this issue

This helped me after using CF- Autoroot by Chainfire, on my nexus 5. Thanks man!
Possible solution
I've ran into error 923 in Google Play.
None of the above worked, and I finally managed to fix it by deleting /data/core/zcore*.zip files (2.5GB in total).
By the looks of permissions on those files, some files could be deleted without root, but not all of them.
this video fixed the problem for me.. while it's "kind of a long video" for the 2 easy steps.. it's just the 2 steps.. 'clear cache' (not sure that helped, really?)
but the 2nd step did help.. I rolled back google play to a 'older'-orginal version.. and that fixed it
Guys
I have galaxy s2 device updated to ICS 4.0.3. It is a Non Rooted phone. Now my google play has stopped working saying some "Server Error" . the retry option is also not working. I have tries factory reset method, tries with market enabler, reflashing of gapps 0429 version. Nothing works for me. I have lost all my apps after factory reset .
Pls help me out guys.
THanks in advance
Regards
Deepak
Got to system settings- apps- all apps tab- select Play Store and delete cache and data. Then select Google Services Framework and clear data and cache there as well. Reboot! Check if it fixes the problem.
If the above steps doesn't work, then remove your Google account and then perform the above steps again and reboot. Add your Google account back and check if the problem has been resolved.

While setting up the phone, I enter the gmail account details and while "Signing-in", a popup appears saying "Google Play Store has stopped working". I clicked OK and completed the setup.
When I try opening the play store from the app drawer, the same message appears and I have also tried signing-in to another gmail account, same message.
I tried this in Viper ROM and CM10.1 for Rezound and the TRON-Umbrella ROM.
Can some help with this?
Thanks
Are you fully wiping the phone between rom installs? Don't see any other reason it would carry over from one rom to another.

Yes, wiping data/system, cache, dalvik, boot, system twice.
I also tried "Force close", Wipe cache and data of Play store.
If you are using my backup to restore apps be careful as I've seen it backing up Google play services lately. Causes all kinds of issues when restored.

Have you tried skipping the step in the initial setup, then adding your google account through the settings > accounts?
So here is my basic issue at the moment:
I can get google play to work but uninstalling in titanium back up and reinstalling the apk manually and making it a system app. BUT it wont let me download apps or upfmdate apps or update google play services also I can't sync my contacts from my gmail account with my device. Thanks to one of the admins on here I was able to get google play up and running after it crashed the first time but sadly it has stopped functioning all together now. I have tried clearing the cache I haave wiped data but to no avail. I have even gone through the sames steps I used on my last thread to geet it working again but sadly the app fails after 2 to 3 minutes of being reinstalled. Does anyone know of a fix for this kind of an issue?
When I try to download apps it gives me the following error now
Error retrieving information from server
[RPC:S-7:AEC-0]
Wipe Cache in recovery
That got playstore up and running still no contacts syncing tho :/

restoring anything to /system using titanium in lollipop doesn't work, yet. Remove your google account in settings/accounts then wipe cache again, you won't lose anything. Then wipe data from google services and play store, you can use titanium to do that. Reboot, wipe cache again, then add your google account (do not restore it from a backup) in settings/accounts, and let it sync.
also,
if you're using any kind of nodded play store to do that first sync it won't work

What I normally do when this happens is I uninstall playstore I remove my gmail account and wipe play services cache this used to fix it but now when I do all that playstore does nothing it just gives me a blank page
