Hi.... Wondering if there's any mod out there that can help my get a ripple style effect (like honeycomb) to run on JB 4.2.2.? I am on CM 10.1.... I've googled and only came across a possible app but I was hoping for an actual system mod or flashable zip of some sorts.

Hello I saw on a friend's phone (LG Optimus, Android 2.3.7 based rom) a special notification menu (the one you activate by sliding from top to bottom): it was white and composed of 2 parts, one for notifications and the other window/part for switches (like wifi, gps, sound...). Have you got any idea what was named and if there is a possibility to install on my ACE? (stock based 2.3.6 ROM) It was awesome and it will help me a lot

I saw same thing in htc chacha.......any idea....can we do that wit help of uot kitchen....if then i will try it...actually this should be posted in general section.....its okay...if anybody know the answer pls post ur answer....or. ...review.thnks...in advance...bye

UOT Kitchen has got this feature, but in CM 7,2 isnt this menu style...

Nope. Miui won't run on HTC Hero which has ARMv6 CPU. It's just really heavily themed CM7
I'm gonna try replacing some apks on CM 7.2 and/or 7.1 on my Ace tomorrow. ;-)

Edit 19:32 (GMT+1), 03.02.2012:
LiGux settings apk works fine when installed as normal apk (pushing it to /system/app/ should also work) but it just has links to Android's Settings.apk
Replacing SystemUI.apk/CMParts.apk/framework-res.apk/framework.jar (CM7.2 RC0 upd. 23.01) makes phone not bootable or breaks statusbar. I don't have any idea why (because I'm not into making android apps and porting them ). BUT if someone knows how it shouldn't be difficult to port since LiGux is also a CM7.2 build.
The better solution for ur question is UOT kitchen... U can check the status bar section and move to quick settings tab.. I never tested it.. Hope it might work...
Hi i would create a new skin ( the carbon expresso ) based on my desire skin.I need help and somorne who have dropox / mediafire acount to upload it.
First we have to mod the clock.
Secondly mod the navbar.
WILL add the version of the mod here.
If you like the project press on the tanks butom.

I'm a bit confused, you say you've ported it to wildfire but they look like mdpi to me so how did you port it, can't you just use com.htc.resources.apk framework-res.apk and rosie.apk from a stock rom, swap the images for yours and that's it. No resizing should be needed I thought the framework did the resizing and if there is any to do it should be minimal.

I try this way also but we need to resize all the png for the navbar and it's hard to mod the rosie.We need to resize all the png it will be dificult but we can do that.And these skin are the first relase .I upload those to get help in order to have final relase.So if you want to help me you are welcome( i don't know if that means what i want to say but...)

After using cm7 for several months i really missed sense and it's widgets so i flashed a sense pre-rooted rom with a2sd script and so far i'm very pleased by it.
One thing bothers me though.......The lockscreen....it's the stock slide-down lockscreen and it's not working well for me.
Is it possible to flash a custom lockscreen with a slide to the side or ring pull or something??
I know there are many lockscreen apps out there but that are just layers over de stock ones, i want to replace the stock one.
I thought maybe cook one in a online droid kitchen but they al seems out-of-order.......

Its located on settings/lockscreen/choose ripple effect and then the ink effect below can be ticked.remember that this effect appears once you use spen.and dont forget that this is the wrong place for questions theres a dedicated forum.
