[Q] HELP!! Im i bricked beyond repair?!!!!!! - Sprint HTC EVO 4G LTE

Girlfriend evo was still on hboot 1.19 firmware version 2.16 and just wanted to get to stock and update to latest andriod and firmware. I flashed the stock recovery and relocked bootloader to do OTA update. It started updating then cut off and will not boot up and all. Was trying to use the htc unbrick project here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1948485 It cant seem to find my device.Says"Device cant be detected. Check connections" Is the phone brick beyond repair or can i fix this?

You need to leave your phone plugged in for at least 8 hours then try to get into bootloader if it doesn't work get in touch with zarbos, he should be able to unbrick it...

htc amaze bricked!!!

ok my phone is s-on on hboot 1.90.0008 and it has an unlocked bootloader with 4ext recovery.
i tryed going back to stock with ruu (videotron) but it fails
i tryed changing roms and its just stuck on a bootloop. so far i tryed 3 different roms with no luck
i dont know what to do
any help will be appreciated
thx
Make sure your RUU is properly named and put it on the root of your SD card.
Lock your bootloader by adb command "OEM LOCK" From your pc's command prompt. This will lock your bootloader (and will erase everything)
When you reboot to your bootloader, it will scan for your ph85img.zip (I think I remember thats what its called... its been a while) and it will flash the update.
Hope this helps... if not... I recommend http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1679486 this thread. Goodnight

Incorrect info by GS3G. Since you are S-On, you can't downgrade to the Gingerbread RUU. You need to have S-Off so you can downgrade to the GB RUU

Have you ever successfully ran an ICS ROM on the phone before? What ROM were you on BEFORE this happened?
Yea i had ics rom from the guy i bought it from and it worked. the 4ext recovery was also installed but idk what rom it was. i asked him like 2 hours ago ill see what he response back and tell you but if it was running a custom rom with ics i cant see why it wouldnt run another...
All i did when it was working was wipe data and dalvik then installed energy rom 8.1 then flashed the boot.img with pc
Did i do something wrong?

Yeah it should have soooo TWRP 2.4.x.x should work
Did you try this?
Once in bootloader, choose “FASTBOOT”, hit the Power button, then plug-in your microUSB cable from your phone to computer.
Now type "fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.4.4.0-jewel.img" without the quotes and press enter
Now type "fastboot erase cache" without the quotes and press enter

[Q] Revert back to stock ICS

Hi everyone,
I'm currently on Viper Amaze 1.7.0.2 and I'd like to know how to revert back to stock ICS. My phone is on tmobile, s-on, unlocked bootloader, hboot 1.93.0002 and 4ext recovery. I want to go back to stock ICS because I need wifi calling. I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1617644 but not sure which file to download and what to do with it. Thank you.

I dunno why all of you get this.. Its cuz your boot.img didn't flash.. Do like this flash the Rom and reboot into the recovery again then a small pop up will come saying turn on smart flash bla bla say yes and give it 10 sec and reboot your phone.. I kinda remember something like that

[Q] HTC Droid dna bricked

Does anyone know to unbrick a droid dna. bootloader is locked and s-on with hboot 1.33. does anyone know how to unbrick it.
If it is still S-on, I'm pretty sure it's darn near impossible to really brick a DNA. How about some more details? How'd you get into this predicament? What did you do that caused the alleged brick? What have you tried to fix it?

I did not brick phone I figured out but I thought I did from a failed moonshine attempt. But then I was scared and was wondering what would happen if I bricked my droid dna with s-on and a locked bootloader. Is there a solution?

This happened with mine, but i was going back S-on and achieved s-on and locked but then forgot i still had CM on it. Tried the RUU several times and then tried flashing the extracted and decrypted .zip file via fastboot and through an error every time. something about the bootloader and then would stop.
Pretty sure im bricked 100% ive tried just about everything.
freezes at the white HTC screen and never gets past.
