Yeah it should have soooo TWRP 2.4.x.x should work
Did you try this?
Once in bootloader, choose “FASTBOOT”, hit the Power button, then plug-in your microUSB cable from your phone to computer.
Now type "fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.4.4.0-jewel.img" without the quotes and press enter
Now type "fastboot erase cache" without the quotes and press enter

the other 2 are the problem..
i'll tell the problem one by one..
1).
bootloop evo 3d sprint ver..
this one i don't know why it can be like this..
but, i've tried all of method that i know..
- i've JTAG it, but it can't
- i've push RUU.exe, but it says "unknown error"
- i've following the instruction on the RUU windows, but it still not the answer
- i've use PG86IMG.zip ( with all build version ),,
( for the 2.17 ver, it can updated, but still bootloop )
( for the other ver, it can't be updated )
- i've unlock the bootloader then root it + flash recovery,,
but when i used "fastboot boot recovery.img", it comes to stuck in HTC screen
- i've used brick+unbrick method then upgrade the build ver again ( via fastboot ),, nothing change..
- i've tried "fastboot flashall", it failed
- "fastboot -w" and then use PG86IMG.zip,, nothing happened, just like before..
and the other ways that i knows..
Any advices, guys??
2).

-- this one is in downloade mode,, but linux can't detect it,,
-- now still in JTAG progres..
i hope JTAG can safe it..

Do you have any update?

How to downgrade TWRP

Now that I've updated to v2.4.1.0., I'm pretty much stuck on my splash screen. I can jump back into recovery but just can't get past my splash screen. How do I downgrade? Is their a way to downgrade from within TWRP?
Edit: I'd like to revert back to TWRP 2.3.3.0 which is what I was on before. I'm also still S-ON if that makes a difference.
Thanks for the replies ahead of time.

[Q] HELP [ No TWRP Recovery Or Operating system (Evo 4G L.T.E)

I'm fairly new to rooting with the Evo 4G LTE i know the basics, but anyway i rooted my phone and tried to install a custom rom, the rom didnt install right and got stuck on bootloader so i went back to recovery and factory reset and tried to restore my device with a back up, it went threw like it restored itself, but once again stuck on the bootloader. i then relocked my bootloader trying to unroot my device hoping that would fix the problem, now my device will freeze on the HTC logo, i then have to hold the power button to turn the device off, i can boot into bootloader and fastboot USB, but it will not let me go into recovery. when i hit factory reset threw the bootloader it just reboots into bootloader, please help!!

[Q] HELP! HTC evo 4g lte won't boot

So I recently rooted my phone and I tried to install the CM 10.1 mod. I did everything correctly except I didn't backup my original rom. So now the custom rom won't boot up because it gets stuck at the HTC startup screen and stays there. I went back into the twrp and tried to re-install the custom rom and again it didn't work. Now I went back and all my files are gone including the custom rom! So basically I think that the phone is booting because there is nothing on there. I tried to change the recovery image back to the original htc rom according to htcevohacks.com and i tried doing a factory reset but it didn't work. is it possible to fix this if so how? Thanks.

If you can get into twrp you can mount usb storage and put the Rom zip back on and the reason it won't boot is because you are s-on you need to fastboot flash the boot.img first

ok so as you guys said I can put the rom back on and install it and I have tried it. I got the initial set up of the new rom but the touchscreen doesn't work. I tried 2 other roms too and the touchscreen doesn't work on all of them. Do i just have to keep trying out roms? If you guys could post any roms that you have tried before that'd be great. I just want my phone to run something right now.
Try running a ROM based on the 3.16 OTA such as ViperROM or MeanBean. What version of TWRP are you on?
Also note if you use either of the ROM's listed above, they have S-on kernel installers. Just follow the installation instructions.

Give it a shot. The 3.16 OTA included a touch panel driver update. If you have the updated driver you can only run 3.16 base ROM's and also must use TWRP 2.4+, otherwise, your touch panel won't work. If you gain S-off you can downgrade the driver and run whatever ROM you want.
Once S-off you don't have to fool with flashing the kernel separately, either
Sent from my EVO using xda premium
So according to the MeanBean developer the kernel installer is built in, so all i have to do is flash the .zip file and it will take care of everything correct?

I think, if I recall correctly, you have to flash the ROM zip twice. After you flash the first time, you will be prompted to flash it again.
