Now that I've updated to v2.4.1.0., I'm pretty much stuck on my splash screen. I can jump back into recovery but just can't get past my splash screen. How do I downgrade? Is their a way to downgrade from within TWRP?
Edit: I'd like to revert back to TWRP 2.3.3.0 which is what I was on before. I'm also still S-ON if that makes a difference.
Thanks for the replies ahead of time.

Thanks Corcgaigh. I can get to boot loader. Fastboot flash recovery? I must be missing something. Maybe my mind is overlooking something.

Lol well I was helping him unlock over skype and the connection started dropping in and out and in the confusion ended up stuck booting twrp. Once we found out he could still boot to the boot loader he decided to flash mean over and he's up and running. At first glance it looked like dumlock flashed over without a backup of original boot

Not a problem, xda has plenty of brilliant minds. I'm sorry none of them were available and you got stuck with me, but it worked out
So I've finally taken the plunge and rooted and s-off my ltevo this evening and I have been trying to flash cm10 and I keep getting stuck in a bootloop I'm trying to flash the new stable cm10 and yup bootloop, and I've done full wipes I'm thinking it was a bad download so I redownloaded and yup bootloop

Your not s-off, and judging from the fact you can't boot cm, your not on hboot 1.12. Check out http://unlimited.io/dirtyracun.htm this will allow you to s-off and not have to worry about flashing the boot.img through fastboot.
I used regaw method of achieving root and it does s-off also, and like I said cm10 goes into bootloop

regaw_leinad's tool only unlocks your bootloader, through the method provided by HTC. You do not achieve s-off though that. If you boot into your bootloader, you will see s-on, the next line below where it says unlocked.

Personally, your much better off actually going with dirtyracun. If your s-off all you have to do is flash the rom.zip. If you dont wanna go that route, you need adb set up. After you have adb set up, just cd to what ever directory you extracted the boot.img out of the rom to, and type fastboot flash boot boot.img
sorry, I'm not gunna spoon feed ya through the process, but atleast it sends you in the right direction

Yeah it should have soooo TWRP 2.4.x.x should work
Did you try this?
Once in bootloader, choose “FASTBOOT”, hit the Power button, then plug-in your microUSB cable from your phone to computer.
Now type "fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.4.4.0-jewel.img" without the quotes and press enter
Now type "fastboot erase cache" without the quotes and press enter

Are you flashing the boot img in fastboot before installing in recovery? Most sense roms are over 500mb and have the same kernel so it boots up fine without flashing the boot img before hand. Aosp roms will require you to flash the boot img before hand if you're s-on

^This. You will need to put the boot.img in your ADB tools folder on your computer, put the phone in fastboot USB mode and use the command 'fastboot flash boot boot.img' to flash the kernel to your phone. A better solution is to get S-off so you don't have to mess with flashing the kernel separately .

Agreed. Best thing to do is get S-OFF! :good: :good: :good:
S-OFF is cake now. No reason NOT to do it. It will make all of this EASIER for you. Just up and do it.
You have two possible methods to do this: DirtyRacun or Facepalm. The latter can be done in five minutes.
You'll thank yourself later.

From the thread I linked previously -
"You can also come by irc for support or just to say thanks: #FacePalm http://chat.andirc.net:8080/?channels=facepalm"
I know it can be scary, but you have to read the forum(s) and/or watch the video(s). Since you took the trouble to register on this site, don't rush and take the time to learn and understand by reading, reading, and more reading. It's not an overnight thing, but it does come eventually. It took me 6 months before I began to have a decent understanding of what I was doing with my first PC...
No offense, but we can't hold your hand as you cross the street. You have to take those first steps yourself. Read carefully, make notes that YOU will understand a day later... but you must take the responsibility for what happens to your phone.
Can you tell I'm a parent? :silly:

If your S-on, you need to flash the boot.img. By going to fastboot and flash it there right after you install your rom. All roms have a boot.img in the zip folder.
Sent from my kick ass EVO using Tapatalk 2
Try downgrading twrp thru bootloader the version available to flash it is 2.3.1, and it's on the twrp website then try to flash any other rom, also you can download the script Updater and place it in the Rom zip, instructions also in the twrp website... Good luck

Lol. Lets be nice now. But this is a great example of why people just start telling others to search. All of the answers are in a touch reach. Idk about everyone else but I learned almost all of what I know now through searching. Even after posting a question and continuing my search I'd end up with my answer and solution before anyone replied.
