Hi all, i have moded the stock ICS Camera for xperia u to record higher quality video/audio.
The stock camera captures 12MBps video & 128 Kbps audio.
The moded camera captures 17.5 MBps video & 224 Kbps audio.
The resulted audio/video is great AND.. for a ~5 minutes recording it takes ~600MB , so its not for everyone

if you brick your phone its your fault
instructions:
Put the zip on sd-card, boot in to cwm, wipe cache partition, wipe dalvik cache, install the zip, reboot, go to Setting>Apps>All and clear data and force stop for the "Camera", DONE!
I have uploaded the stock camera so that you can revert again(the same way) if you don't like need it..

I have no idea if it will work on GB, you can backup your GB SemcCamera3D.apk and SemcCameraUI.apk , and then try it.
I was using GB only for about... 1 hour, so.. sorry

Which link is broken? I tried to download the ISCstockCam_17.5MBps_224Audio now and no problems.

Sorry but if you want to flash this then you loose xrecovery.
You can use it and install xrec with old flashtool and then this kernel

awesome dude, this rom run like a charm, fast and smooth no wlod and no issues for the moment . theme had a very good functionability and look so good... don't know for the battery, will see tomorrow. great work follow this way eheh ... i've got some screenshot can i put them?

Why you want a cm7 camera if you have stock with zoom? Look in theme's and apps. There on page 4 i think you have Z cm7 camera for stock based roms.
Barepe, camcorder playback is not so smooth. I tested just in dark room. Maby thats the reason.

why do you guys keep comparing ROMs, every ROM has his advantages ahead of others in a specific way (and its cons too), for example nothing stands ahead of Feralab when it comes to tweaks and new stuff, including the BEST camera,
this one has a new look so it makes it a unique experience, enjoy DEVs works and keep positive constructive feedback

When you have recovery just tested.
make a nandroid backup first.
I think it works. But you must push the stock Wifi modules form ICS beta to system to get wifi working.
When the system boots and all run i make a flash enable.zip wifi stock wifi modules for this rom.
I try the Rom, gallery don't esist...i download ics gallery from market, music player is old... with doomkernel i can record video at 720 p
V2 seems beautiful! Before you launch it, could you add the apk semcvisualizer from Xperia S? It add a nice feature to walkman player.
You are in right way, try to install max Xperia S apks possible.
Last thing, how will you support the touchpads? It will be work fine here?

i work on atm on V2 when i was finished i will release it.

at my phone the battery life is realy good like standart 2.3.4.
Now i have finish V2.
Changelog log Post 3 and for screenshots post 2.
i will Test V2 a little time and then i will releas it.

Did you missed the interface of the stock GB camera(and his option to chose MACRO MODE) in ICS(modded to have 100% jpg compression)?
That's the solution(tested workin in .587 and .13 firmware)it should works on all HDPI 2011 xperia lineup(Ray,Arc,Arc-s,Neo)

..no it isn't,document is an high-contrast "scene"..MACRO is a focus mode.

I flashed it over Cybershot 7.1.2 after i wiped cache and dalvik cache.

OMG! Is this fixes the ICS Camera bugs? Does it fix the wrong thumbnail bug? Does the 720p Video recording doesn't lag? I hope the bugs are fix like the thumbnail. If it does, then I will go back to ICS! Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!

It is working well on UHD 3.0.2 (ICS) expect some thing..
the prewiev picture is green... but the original picture is fine..
video recording gives FC ..
too bad that only 2 megapixel has 16:9 format ... :/

Hi,
on my Arc (LR15i) running moProject V3 (CM 10.1) it hangs at times.
what is especially weird is that the screen is completely black when taking a picture... but the same pic comes clearly in the gallery!
i'Ve simply installed as an apk. Initially it did not allow me to install.... so i just renamed gallery2.apk and then this installed fine.
anyone else had this weird problem?
EDIT: Noticed that it has installed as a downloaded app instead of as a system app. could that be the reason for the black screen when taking a picture?

Using this apk with other phones you can choose photosphere pictures, but we don't have this option. Can do we something to make it run?

Sadly we never can use photosphere because we don't have G sensor in our phones....
