Yeah i know what an EQ is and what effects is has, but i need some tips for some EQ settings
Hmm.
so basically the tweaking of equiliser depends on what type of music do you like.
try all the presets and then try which you like the most..

Do you have some tips for e.g. (deep) House
I listen to most of my deep house with the Techno preset (bass on around 80%). Vocals are clearer with this preset.

2 separate EQ profiles Poweramp
Hi guys,
I dont know if this is the right place to post this. Just joined XDA so not fimiliar yet.
I had a question. Is there any way I can have 2 different EQ setting profiles in Poweramp? Let me elaborate ...
I have two headphones/iems ... one is Monster N-pulse Over Ear headphone and the other is Westone 4R IEM. I just got the Mnoster headphone and I have been using the Westone till now. The EQ setting I have in Poweramp (individual settings for specific songs, folders etc) are tailored for the Westone but doesnt sound so nice with the Monsters.
Is there any way I can have two independent settings for EQ in poweramp, so that when I use my Westones, I can use the EQ settings for that and when I use the Monster, I will have a separate EQ setting for that.
Dunno if that makes sense but would appreciate some help.
Best regards,
EQ setting for Poweramp..

is there any android application wich allow to set max dB and if reach max dB then phone beeps.. ?
lol wat?
But there is apps which allows you to make your phonespeaker louder, don't recommend doing it though. You can manually configure it by going into a menu (from dailer) using a code-combo (forgot which one atm).
DSPManager
On the ROM i have it came with an app called DSPManager which allowed you to set volume presets and things, I'm pretty sure you'll need root for it though! hope I helped
no no, application wich allow to set max dB from microphone and if reached max level(set from settings) then phone automatically beeps

Try "Motion & Sound Alarm" which is a paid app.
Or "Sheriff Lite: AntiTamper Alarm", its free, but slightly annoying and keeps asking you to buy the full version.
Both work pretty well, I tried them and am gonna use em to scare my friends
O by the way, both these apps let you set only a volume level and not a specific dB level...

Ok. Deactivated everything on speaker, it was make the sound problematic.
Acoustic, because I like how it sounds. It enhances exactly the way I like it.
I have about 15 songs with a acoustic stile (Simple Plan, and then there are some "pop" (I can't find another word to define this) such as LMFAO (Sexy and I Know It is stuck in my head, but it's kinda nice), David Guetta, some hip hop style music (The World Ends with You has the best soundtrack EVER), and some post hardcore ones (A Day to Remember).
are there any apps that will increase bass on google play? i know that poweramp and similar apps only work with music that is physically on the phone...right? or am i mistaken in some way?

Redneck, I installed the pay app of this after reading your post. Unfortunately, nothing is working at all. (meaning within the app) I tried all settings and no results. Could I be missing something here?
ROM= Unofficial (up to date) no other MODS or software related to sound.
Also I gave root access to the app for in-call volume.
Thanks for any advice on this.
Have you tried the beats audio and dspmanager over on the development forums? It's done wonders for mine. Here's the thread.

I'm using power amp to stream music via blue tooth to my car stereo. And have no idea about the settings

Moved to correct sub forum.
This depends very much on the music listened to and your ears as no one hears exactly same as others.
So to start you want the car EQ to flat so as to not interfere with EQ settings on PA, now sound is produced in Sine waves.

The left end is the lower frequencies sub bass going up to the right the higher frequencies treble.
That's my setup on Winamp and i listen to dubtep, this is very easily changed to listening material Low-Mid-Treb
Hope that helps.
So my bass, treble, and mid on my head unit should be set to 0? And just adjust my sound from my phone?
Sent from my SPH-L710 using xda premium
Yes as otherwise you'll have 2 EQ's on the go so set car to flat, you could always use the car to increase bass if you have a sub setup etc.
If you noticed in the images they line in sine my 3rd slider was topping but should have been slightly off.
I don't have experience using bluetooth car audio, but I find its better to send the audio flat from the phone to your car stereo when using 3.5mm aux. Your car stereo will have its own EQ that is built to take flat audio as a source. Unless its not adequate then you can try an EQ app on android. But from my experience EQ apps do great for helping earbuds sound better but shouldn't be used on a full size sound system that features its own EQ.
Yeah could do that but most in car stereos the same as allinone stereos tend to just have presets.
Also PA has a nice punch especially on slight amplification prior to out.
This sounds good on my skullcandy hesh
Hope it works for u

Try decreasing all the buttons to zero..thn check increasing them one by one till u find when its working...

Well, I dont hear the difference. actually, NC modes button isn't working, and the 'Set noise cancel Level' bar is not in proportions. I used it on a Xperia Mini Pro(SK17i)
here's a free app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.liberty.android.noisecanceller
and btw:
ChrisHodges said:
I really wish this could be done, but physics says no. The wavelength of all but the lowest pitched sounds is too short for the phase shift to work with a microphone anywhere but in the back of each headphone, and even then cancelling high pitches relies more on passive blocking than active cancellation.
(Wikipedia: Wavelength says 17mm-17m for the human hearing range)
So to implement this even for constant noise you would need to sample the sound accurately, then adjust the phase shift and volume differently for each ear, which would have to be done manually. And it would only work until the frequency changes.
Sorry to bring bad news (and yes, I did register just to post this)
