[Q] unrooted back to stock and now i dont have LTE/Data - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

ok i rooted and went with Cyanogen mod 10.1 and it didnt work for me ...missed a bunch of stuff and couldnt use my headset with the phone
i tried going back to stock by using odin and followed this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2301259
no luck my LTE only turned on when i checked for updates...aside from that it dosnt work even on the restore as new option ...i feel so helpless, ive tried rebooting, powering off, safe mode...
It simply dosnt work and the only way i figured it did worked was going to About Phone /Software Update and then when it checks it turns on the LTE send signal up and down and states there are no new updates then dissapears leaving me without internet
everything else on the phone works perfectly
no 3g either...no data period....
Is there a way to turn it on in a hidden menu? or am i done for :crying:

Wifi makes phone go crazy...

Hello awesome people
I`ve been looking for people with the same problem as me, but my problem seems to be opposite of everybody elses...
I have been using GoLauncher for a while, but decided to try apex, since i think golauncher has gotten to much bloatware lately. also decided to try a new sms program called Pansi, then the fun started... I tried to send an mms with pandi and the phone for the first time in a month rebooted... then after the boot, the phone suddenly started go into a freezelock everytime the screensaver came on, sometimes i could use the power on button to get the phone to restart or shut down. and after a while i could not get past the pin code screen, so i did a factory reset, installed the lastest official update, phone booted and everything was appearing ok, but no... Did some searching and found out that some that was having the same problem used the "#*0011* and select wifi and turn the power saver off. So no I got rid of the freezelock, but my wifi is all stupid, and disconnects me all the time saying that there is a poor connection even though the signal strenght is excellent. If i turn power saving mode on, the wifi works great, but the phone will freeze on screen unlock
I also used the Toolkit from Mark Skippen to root and maybe the fix was there but still problems, any help would be appreciated...
/chrtn
tl;dr
phone freeze with wifi power saving mode on
wifi not working when wifi powersaving mode off

Hi, I think i've got the same issue.
I had the i9300XXLH1 stock rom (no problem so far)
But then I used the mskip's Toolkit to root it (insecure ALE8 Kernel + CWM Touch recovery)
Then the wifi problems starts :
If wifi is on and connected to an AP -> ok
if wifi is on but not connected -> freezelock (be patient and the touchscreen will come back)
sometimes i can't get wifi working at all...
Any idea ?
Use CF (chainfire) root. It won't mess with the kernel that is supposed to go with the latest rom. Now you are using old kernel with new rom.
Hope this helps
Thank you, will try a factory reset full wipe and try again with chainfire

Contrary to popular belief, the signal bar does not show an accurate description of your network signals. It may show you the signal strength of the nearest tower.
The reason you're getting the "out of service" sign is because you ARE out of service. You're not in range of your telecom provider's signals. Try someone else's SIM (who is on another network) and you'll see that everything works perfectly!

I have pretty much the same issue... Since i moved to JB, It happens that I can't hear anything. Sometimes The other side hears me, but most of the time not.
Sometimes a Reboot helps, sometimes a reflash of the modem (all versions tried) helps... but this works only for a random time span... then it bugs again.
My provider is Swisscom and I never had signal problems in my home. Definitively no provider problem since all the other mobile phones work in this area.
Now I'm looking for the stock ROM to flash... maybe this will help...

Hello,
I had this problem with the DBT version. You seem to have NEE which I have now.
I bought my S3 from Germany and live in Sweden.
CSC I had was DBT and I flashed it to NEE which is for Sweden.
CSC
You need to flash yours with TUR version and do a factory reset.
source
ODIN 3.07
Instructions For Flashing Firmware:
Extract the firmware
Open Odin
Turn off your device
Put your device into Download MODE (Home + Volume Down + Power) then Volume Up
Click PDA and select *.tar.md5
Then finally click START!
I hope that solves the problem.
When I flashed I used Samsung Kies drivers.
Install latest Samsung Kies and uninstall it but keep the drivers.
The factory reset I mean is Home + Volume Up + Power

[Q] No network on factory reset, IMEI has changed/SN 000..., ARIZA patch working

Hi Guys
Done a little digging on this and now have a working phone but I'm confused as to why I can't get it to work factory.
Background info:
S3 international (UK, unlocked), was rooted when I bought it.
Network was present when I put my simcard in and all working. Wanted to go back to factory settings, so followed the guide on totally dubbed (search for "How to un-root & flash a stock ROM – Samsung Galaxy S III – GT-I9300 Totallydubbed" (can't post the link cause of my post count...) to the letter, using Triangle Away and ODIN to install I9300XXEMB5 with BTU radio as linked on here in the official ROMs thread. When I booted up, all I got was Emergency calls only and "Not registered on network" message.
Rooted using CF auto root, still issues. IMEI was not the same as the one under the battery label and the SN had switched to all the zeros. Panic etc. later. Installed BusyBox and the ARIZA patch and I'm back on. EFS folder backed up now. With this working I tried un-rooting again using the same ROM and the same issue came about. Tried flashing back to 4.04 and still had the same issue.
Hassle again, and I'm back to I9300XXEMB5 with BTU, rooted with ARIZA patch.
So the question is can I get back to factory and have working network? I really want OTA updates and didn't buy the phone to mod it yet.
Also the alarm clock is giving me issues... I've read about it being pants and perhaps will get a 3rd party app. Phone on silent and it doesn't sound even though alarm volume is up and media volume is up. My HTC sensation worked fine with the alarm in all scenarios.
Biggest issue is the factor reset and getting it working though

HELP! Samsung SIII LTE - unstable issues no matter what kernel or ROM

Hey guys...
First time poster on here and after some BIG help... any will be useful and i thank you in advance for taking the time...
Ok without writing a novel i will give as much information as i can without beating around the bush. Then followed by details on the phone.
Issue:
So no matter what kernel or ROM & apps (or no apps) i put on this phone it is always unstable and reboots itself. Some ROMS doesn't even load.
The phone has been rooted correctly 'used the samsung root tool kit' with the correct one for the phone Australia i9305 LTE version.
I used to have rXTREME 7 which was OK - it rebooted maybe 3-5 times a day if i was frequently using it, but annoying.
I tried the rXTREME12.1 installed fine, the phone was restored to default, Xache & Davik Cache where all cleared and installed rom on fresh system however it would just hang on the Samsung logo... and do nothing.. i have also tried the CyanogenMod and Paranoidandroid 3.97 halo ROM's and they wouldn't load....
Currently i have Ripper Rom and it works however whenever i try and do ANYTHING it reboots itself... i will be lucky to get a good 2mins of it working correclty without it having to reboot... So far this morning it has rebooted about 31 times (no joke i have been counting) just trying to access my email... Not matter what i do, replaying to MSG's trying to answer the phone (swipe just doesn't work) or it will just reboot itself...
In saying this i have also tried to unroot the phone and installed the standard OPTUS rom and it was also so unstable it would do the same thing, however would wipe any information i had put on the phone... apps, data, contacts...
Details on the Phone:
Australian LTE GT-i9305
Android V: 4.1.2
Baseband V: I9305XXBLL5
Kernel V: 3.0.31-1153417 [email protected] #1 SMP PREEMPT Fri May 31 23:10:25 KST 2013
Build Number: Ripper ROM V17.2
Recovery: Team Win Recovery Project v2.3.30
Again please help!!! i am at at a end and want to smash the phone to peices.........
Thanks in Advance for any help or advice!
Best report your post and ask for it to be moved into the i9305 q&a forum, you're more likely to get a reply there.
As said wrong forum this is I9300 .
That begs the question are you flashing the wrong firmware .

Samsung Tab E SM-T560NU - Randomly Crashes and Restarts

- HI, I'm not sure what is wrong with my tablet. I have a Samsung Tab E which was bought in Jan 31 of 2017 Model number SM-
T560NU with the following specs .
Kerner version
3.10.49-12379902
[email protected] # 1
Build Number
NMF26X.T650NUUEU1CQJ3
It will randomly restart itself and boot back up. Once I had it turned of for the night only to find it was turned on when I woke up in the morning. It shuts down randomly for no reason. I have tried the follow:
Wipe Cach
Factory Reset
I didn't install any apps on the tablet and just used a boot logger to see when it crashes.
I don't know what to do with it, I tried contact Samsung for a repair but they only use Fed-ex shipping labels and Fed-ex will not pick it up for me and its over a 1400 km return trip to drop it of at a Fed-ex location, Yes i live in a rural place in Newfoundland Canada. ...
Any help on this would be great,
Is there any apps that track and show you what causes the crashes?
TIA

Hi ..
I have tried this method already, I installed the (T560NUUEU1CQJ3) version of Android 7.1.1 and the problem still came back. Now, knock on wood I flashed it with Odin to android 6.1.1 (T560NUUEU1BPF5) so far it has gone 18 hours with out crashing, i'll provide and update on how long it stays running.
If it is a firmware issue with samsung it really sucks as I would love to be running Android 7.1.1
Thanks for you input, much appreciated
Hi once again , did you tried with 4 file repair firmware for your device maybe that will solve your problem . Search over the internet if is available for your device and your region.
Hi. What's the advantage of this over Odin? It seems to be the same process. What am I missing?
Update. 6.0.1 ran for 36 hours and did not crashnthe tablet. I then updates to the newest 7.1.1 and so far after 12 hours no crashes.
