I search every where and I found nothing
I try everything and redownloading and reinstalling and without binifit

If its bad, it's bad. Problem is the file is corrupt. Maybe its uploaded corrupt. Maybe your download is corrupt. Maybe transferring to your sdcard is corrupt...
Its hard to say which step corrupts it

Hi all,
Hope your well.
Im having the same issue too when trying to install apps. Exactly the same message. just over 6GB available in storage.
Im trying to install friendcaster no luck.
Tried to install you tube too, no luck. I have checked data/apps and I have no Odex files in there. Also, I have not installed friendcaster before on this phone therefore there will not likely to be any odex files for that app.
I am on Omega Rom, which is deodexed.
Btw, where is internal storage gone? only see SD storage and ExSd storage.
Any help would be appriciated.
Thanks guys

Having odex files is the issue that comes to mind but if you have checked it and there isn't any related to friendcaster then u should try wiping cache n dalvik to see if that works.

Salaam bro.
Thanks for your response.
This may sound silly but I was trying to think back a few days ago if I had made any system like changes to my phone. I then remembered that in one of the settings menu in Rom Toolbox, there is an option to choose where to install apps. Auto, internal or SD card. I changed it from Auto to SD,thinking (logically) it would save internal storage. It turns out (so far)that this was the issue. I changed it back to auto and then I was able to install the app. Wierd I know. Im confused. I hant tried to install anymore apps yet so not sure if this is sorted for good but will keep an eye out.
Once again thank you for taking time out to respond.
Btw, all the best for Ramadhan!! (next month!!)

Wasalam bro
U shouldn't need to install apps to external as u have a lot of memory this time around n u can also use a lot of software to move game data to external sd and run them from there by Binding the directories. Anyways best of luck to you to buddy for Ramadan. Do remember me in your prayers. Tc. Fe Aman Allah

If you use that naughty luckypatcher program it can cause the out of space message as well when you try to install some programs.
How to fix it is below.

U must be on cm9/cm10 , their cwm is broken
Flash any kernel in cwm after mounting usb to ur computer , kaSSpeed should work , then reboot and restore
We got it working again with ics13 kernel but it still won't backup and restore properly. Every time we try either the system or data won't mount! And it fails.
Any ideas?

I am having the same problem. I want to restore an old backup from FXP 133 (I am on 134). I know it says that they are working on the problem but there have to be some way to restore your old data... Been trying different methods for 2 days.
Anyone that has had the same problem and solved it, if so please post the steps you took to accomplish this?

Yeah the last time I tried (after installing fxp 133 again using nozomi-recovery.img) I first went into Mounts and Storage in CWM and mounted /system to be sure it was working and it did! But then during restore you get the error that /system can't be mounted and I have to redo the whole installation process again.

Hi. I have a really odd problem, and hope you guys can help me out. recently i rooted my phone (sgs4) and used TWRP (and later CWM) to make a backup of my system via recovery. However, at one point the backup failed due to insufficient space on my internal card, and now the phone keeps warning me that the phone is full. However - and here's my stupid problem - I don't remember which of the two backup programs I used when this happened, and however I search the card (using Root explorer) I'm unable to find ANY folder named backup, twrp, clockworkmod or anything comparable. Now, the files MUST be on the card somewhere, considering used storage jumped with about 4,5gb. before and after this incident. Anyone know where such files might be hidden?
did you search if the file is hidden ?
you can try to arrange all files by size and check directory with large size
or else
try searching keywords like *.md5,*.zip
part , sd-ext etc
Sent from my GT-S5670 using xda premium
I've looked at filesizes, yes... But not for hidden folders. Will try that.
Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
Hmmm... Thx for the tip, but no luck. No hidden folders. I do suspect some kind of temp folder or location (I have a bunch of files in a 'emulated/0' folder, but no idea whether this is it.....

maybe they go in .Trash1000 ? is there any such directory ?

maybe too late for an answer to this but...
I believe the "temp" folder while the backup is being created with cwm recovery is:
/data/clockworkmod/backup
at least so is on my S4 mini with cwm 6.0.3.3 cwm recovery
Same problem on a S4 Mini, please help me!

For some odd reason everytime I try to copy the file to my SD or Internal phone memory, it won't let me. Maybe it's my computer but I don't think so, I just keep getting this message "Cant copy file, program is not responding" Anyone with some input on this?
NEVERMIND GUYS, I JUST SENT IT THROUGH EMAIL AND IT WORKED THAT WAY. GUESS IT WAS MY COMPUTER.

Hey, that was slick. I must have read it 20 times and tried it 1-2 times, but got it to work. Thank you... One stupid question: After the install, I expected to be able to turn the phone off and start up using Volume down, home, and power and get into the TWRP again, but it didn't work that way. Am I suppose to use falshify each time I want to get into TWRP?
