By the way in CWM (v6.0.3.2) when i open it says in the bottom and after rom installing
E:can't open /cache/recovery/log
E:can't open /cache/recovery/log
E:can't open /cache/recovery/log/last_log
E:can't open /cache/recovery/log/last_log

These ROMs you mentioned are meant for ICS hboot 1.24.
You can only flash these ROMs if you know how to change the mountpoint to JB hboot 1.25

Are there any roms for mine than? And if there are'nt yet can you link me with the stock recovery because i forgot to backup....

Stock Recovey.img won't help you .. anyway you can try the stock recovery here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2324815
What you need is to restore your stock backup, not Stock Recovery.
About ROMs, there are a few ROMs support JB hboot, just look for them in Dev section, anything that say "hboot 1.25" or "JB hboot" or "support JB hboot" and etc.

Phone Stuck on HTC white screen

I was successful in rooting my Evo 3d but I had a rom with botched Wifi and 4g so I tried to flash it back to stock.
Now if I try to boot my phone I get stuck on the White HTC screen and it stays that way forever.

Did you flash back to a nandroid of stock, or how did you flash back to stock.
Also, which recovery are you using?
Do you have access to a computer you can hook your phone up to?
Recov is 1.0.3 twrp
I download the stock kernel from forum post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1197898
and Yes I have access
When I try to put PG86IMG into root directory of the phone and load it with bootloader... I get to the first white screen with the Blue bar on the right loading all the way... then it scrolls a few green lines of code and goes back to the main menu.

Have you tried downloading a stock ROM and flashing it yet?
If it were me, I would download another ROM on my computer, hook my phone up while it's in recovery and transfer the ROM over and flash.
I'm on Hboot 1.4, so I don't know much about flashing on 1.5. But, it's my understanding that you have to flash the kernel separate from the ROM in bootloader? I'm probably wrong though.

Flashed Xboarder's Sense 3.5 and it soft bricked my phone

I restored my previous ROM and it works fine, but everytime I try to flash the Sense 3.5 I get soft bricked. Is anybody else getting this problem? I just formatted my data, and then installed the .zip file that was in the thread (version RC1). When it was finished, I rebooted the phone and it gets stuck at the HTC loading screen. I tried installing the patch for RC1.1 afterwards and it was still bricked so I restored my previous ROM (BeastMOD). Does anybody have any idea what I did wrong?
Do I have to install a new kernel for Sense 3.5? All the links from Xboarder's threads for the kernals are down, so I wasn't able to get it.
Thanks for the help!

Kernel is in the rom .zip file. Just have to unzip it and flash it separately. Alternatively, I would suggest using Flash Image GUI app. Has worked flawlessly for me.
1-Just open zip file of amaze sense 3.5 rc1 and you gonna see boot.img.you should copy it "flash kernel here" folder which is here => http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1328141
2-)you should dowload easy flasher kernel. And you will put your "boot.img"=> "Kernel Here" folder.Than you should take off battery and open bootloader( power button and - volume) you can connet phone via usb to pc and same time you will see whats writing there "fastboot usb" on your phone now you will click flash.bat in easy kernel flasher file.
Just your phone will be restart and it would be ok
I got same problem and ı did it.its ok now.
(sorry my english)

You need to flash that kernel when you install the rom.
I am going to try this right now, I hope this works, I've been trying for 2 days now going from stock to different ICS ROMS without being able to get past the HTC screen on a ROM
Before you do that you might try flashing the kernel out of the rom zip with Flash img gui, tell it to reboot to recovery and then flash the rom. The only reason I recommend this is that chads kernel will break 3d and mount sd via usb.
So I'm having the exact same symptoms as OP but I'm S-OFF and GSM, I don't know if there is something like the fix you posted birddog_61 that could help me in my case.
Unfortunately this did not work for me, I did a superwipe, flashed the ROM, and then flashed the kernel, then rebooted and still cannot get past the damn HTC screen, any other advice?

Curious question but have you tried any of the Sense 4.0 ROMs cause those work for me but whenever I install a 3.6 ROM(atleast the ones based on the leak) my phone reboots every 10 seconds, It's just a little odd that for such a rare problem, it'd be someone with such a different configuration that I have.

Well I'm on GSM so we don't have the exact same ROMs but I used Shooter Ice, in my case flashing the boot.img for Shooter Ice over Virtuous 3.0.2(a ROM based on the leak) actually fixed the bootloop though the system was too unstable to use. But try something not based on the leak since that did work for me(though none of those ROMs are fully functional).

Ok try this, go back to a rom that will boot for you. Boot up and download Flash Image Gui. Now make sure the rom zip file is on your sd card. Open flash image gui and grant it super user permission, make sure kernel image is selected and also clear dalvik and clear cache are checked. Click on the browse button at the top and find the rom zip file on your sd card and tell the prompt yes to extract the kernel. Now it will flash the kernel and ask you to reboot, tell it to reboot to bootloader. From there get into recovery and flash your rom like normal.

Didn't work for me(not that I really thought it would but I'm pretty desperate at this point), if he's having the same issue I am(atleast the OP had the same bootloop I do), I know in my case it's the boot.img not getting along with something, what that something is I'm still trying to figure out though.

Okay so I'm running into a small issue and it really doesn't matter to me in the end but I would like to use the Viper boot img rather than the Sprint obviously. I originally flashed 3.1.4 using twrp and i can do everything i want to. However, since im in s-on mode I couldn't flash the boot img and when trying to use the img flasher, it recognizes my device, reboots to fastboot. Then my computer doesn't see the device anymore and the flasher times out and fails.
Is there a link to the latest HTC drivers im maybe missing or do i need to be in bootloader first and install a new driver? I tried going into bootloader where the tool says its rebooting to but same thing.
Again, not the biggest deal in the world but the sprint boot is just terrible.
Any input is appreciated and awesome job Team Venom, keep on being awesome!
Thanks!

Okay so I got it to install now, though quick question, doesn't this boot consist of a Viper boot img instead of the Sprint logo on boot?
I tried pointing to the boot.img in the img flasher and also in the Viper 3.1.4 folder... maybe i was just thinking of something else and it was for just a faster boot time.
In any case, thanks for your help.

[Q] nandroid backup of stock rom

Dear XDA forum members,
I want to go back to stock rom. Searched the internet for a RUU but apparently the don't excist for my ROM version (Insertcoin 4.2.2, HBOOT 1.40). I tried all kind of tricks but without success. What I understood is that I have to go back to stock via a nandroid backup. Unfortunatly I don't have a nandroid stock backup. Is there anybody out there that has a nandroid stock backup I can use? Or does anybody have any ideas how to go back to stock from my current custom ROM?
I have been busy with this for half a week already and still no success...
Thanks guys in advance for all the help....

Please post your CID (which is found either by looking in Play Store for "Cid getter" OR you boot to the bootloader and you will find it at the TOP of the screen.
And you must tell us whether it is International Or AT&T
Post these information and We can help you from then.
Sorry... But my CID is HTC_E11 and it is the International version.

I thought I had it done but after trying to flash a stock recovery things went wrong...
If I reboot it is stuck at the white screen with the HTC logo.
I managed to put a recovery on it but everytime I want to sideload a rom it says device not connected.
This is driving me crazy.....any ideas??
Thanks!

If you can't boot then you forgot to flash boot the boot.img (or boot.emmc.win if the recovery was made using TWRP) , connect your phone to the PC and using fastboot first type in "fastboot devices" then if you see your device code , type "fastboot flash boot " then write the exact location of the boot.img then press enter. Read more information about it.
But since you have a custom rom , I don't think thats the problem. is it?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2066390
Use that tool so there wont be any issues when flashing a new rom.
