[Q] How to disable notification bubble on the left side? - Galaxy S II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I installed new ROM (signature) and pressed a button in the notification line.
Then a new circle appeared on the left side, which I cannot drag&drop into recycler. Also I do not know what setting it is.
Any help much appreciated.

[solved]
ok, found out, it is a HALO notification and I was able to delete by dragging it to the right down und pull it to the appearing recycler on the top

[Q] How to display notification screen without tapping status bar?

How can I display the notification screen without tapping on the top status bar?
Meaning, I have big fingers, so it's difficult to tap the thin top status bar to display the notifications screen (the screen that shows connection status, new text message notices, etc).
So, I am looking for a way to create a shortcut that will display the notification screen without the hassle of trying to tap on little status bar to display it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Click to collapse
+1 I want that for a long long time and i have no clue how to make that shortcut.
In Android we can do that but in winmo i don't know.
Ok,
found a solution, install mortscript and then just run the attach script
you can assign this script to a shortcut in screen or assign it to a hardware key
this script is only a mouse click simulation. if you change the coordinates you can point the shortcut to perform a click in a different screen location
done
CHT has the widgets for notifications. You should try it, if haven't yet.

[Q] Pulldown Notification area starts at bottom, I want it to start at the top!

Hi everyone, hopefully someone can help me...
I just updated my rom, and it has a port of quicksettings on from another developer... This in turn has made the pulldown notification area a tiny bit borked (through my eyes). The pulldown notification starts at the bottom, and has to be pulled down to the bottom to show the first notification...
So if I have an email/text etc, then I need to pull down notification bar just to see who it is from.. It wasn't like this before this update, and fear that because it was ported from another developer, might not get fixed...
Are there any developers that hang out here, that could point me into the right direction?
I haven't asked the rom developer yet, as I know he is very busy with the rom, but would be my next step if no one here can help me!
Many thanks, Matt
P.S. A picture speaks a thousand words, please see attached image that shows me pulling down the notification bar, but it not showing the notification until it is all the way down
EDIT: Developer fixed this

[Q] Keyboard use in Notification Drawer

I've edited the layout of the notification drawer (status_bar_expanded.xml) to show a EditText box at the top of the screen above the notifications but when clicked the keyboard doesn't appear, although I can paste text in. Anybody know what's going on? I've attached the file.

Notifications at the bottom of the pull down menu?

Is there such a mod or app that places your notifications at the bottom of the pull down menu? So when operating a larger phone in one hand and you pull the notification bar down, say with a gesture, you have all your notifications at the bottom. I have seen options in ROMs to move the entire bar down to the bottom but not in the way I would like it.
Hope that makes sense.

Notification shade pull down and bottom-up

So it looks like the G6 has an awesome button at the bottom to pull down the notification shade so you dont have to stretch all the way to the top of the device. How about moving the notification shade to the bottom? This would make a lot more sense given how big phones are getting. Really the only reason you stretch to the top of the phone is to get to the quick toggles or notifications up top. Would be great if this came from the bottom to alleviate this.
Hi
Well, that requires a software modification, but if you want that button, it can be easily added if your rom supports Navigation Bar, you can add custom button and set function to pull down notification, and even if it doesn't you can add it with xposed and gravity box app.
