p760 battery & usage - 6h20min screen on - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

Well, that's it. Seems this phone got a very good 2150mA Li-Ion battery and it can keep my screen up for little more than 6 hours, with some tweaks of course (thanks to artas182x). I wanna know if any1 with same tweak pack or other custom tweaks experienced a so good battery life ? And also I wanna know what brightess you guys use ? I keep at 30-70, depends of sun intensity.

I have the same tweaks pack installed and my screen on time is 9h12min.
I have the screen brightness always at 50%!
The battery is very good!!

You do not need custom kernel for init.d on the L9.
As far as I know, all L9 kernels allow init.d
You just have to enable it

Your heart is in the right place  but when you flash/install the tweak.zip (in CWM) it installs and enables init.d.
From my experience the init.d is buggy at times and (in my case) a fresh install of init.d with this app helps

Don't get your hopes up to high, there are mixed reviews. Some report better life and some report worse.

this has nothing to do with this post dude.

I had on stock ics only 3-4h screen on time with a runtime of 2 days...
Do you mean that I get better stats, when I use Stock JB and the tweakpack?
Since 3 days i use antariksh's ROM. Very good, but when I activate wifi the battery goes very fast out of energy :/ No one talk about this last big problem in CM-based Roms... I'm the only one with such a problem???
I used the app inSSIDer and find out, that the phone very often checks the signal strengh. I thought, that this could be the reason why the phone losses so much energy. (if the phone does that also in the background...) Did someone know how can i control that? with a build.prop line?

try camera. you can change it in setting under 'sample collection'. mine always showed -1lx when using light sensor.
tips: link only 2 samples. 1st: 0 luma, 1% brightness. 2nd: 99999 luma, brightness 100 %. set this under 'modify linked samples' then choose luma tab. too many linked samples is not recommended.

Thanks.
With camera it isn't better, but anyway i set sub-zero value manually (when reading in my bed for example) and finally this app is very useful.
I have only 4 samples :
0 lux -71% (don't think this one is useful)
2 lux 1%
4 lux 11%
21 lux 21%
and everything works fine for my tastes.
Previously I switched between auto brightness (outside home), dim (at home, where i found auto settings and even the lowest value too bright), and screen filter for reading in bed.
Now all is automatic except ... "bed".

I've been using this app for a few weeks now, I love the concept. So far it's been great indoors, but yesterday I was trying to look at phone outside in the sunlight and for some reason this app would not let the display stay at 100%, it just kept going back down to 80%. Any ideas? am I missing something?
now I'm running on CM 7 and it doesn't seem working anymore. it's good at brighter surrounding but not at darker. it doesn't seem to lower brightness automagically anymore. any idea, guys?

Increase brightness to maximum or set auto-brightness on? There shouldn't be a problem if you do that.

Greenify!

I am sure many of you already know abt this wonderful app.. This thread is for those who don't know abt it!
It is definitely not my app, but I stumbled across this app referenced here in xda.. it puts any user apps in hibernation until you open them.. reducing background processes from what i can tell you guys so far..obviously every device is different as is every user experience, but i think its worth a shot..
here is the link
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.oasisfeng.greenify
There is also a donate version which lets you put system apps for hibernating as well!
Here's the link for that..

Try greenify.. And if its the battery you have got with the phone.. I guess a battery after 2 years is bound to give lesser battery life.. If possible try getting it changed or get another battery and use this app.. I can assure you that you will get an improved battery life..
