Any "super uninstaller" dosent see this app, Titanium Backup also ... Can i try manually delete the file Pandora.apk? Where can i find this? I check on the /system/app -nothing, /data/app... nothing, butt have this apps still on the app drawler...

Ok! So I have installed ICS on my GS2 and just rooted the thing! Problem is whenever I want to delete some apks (Swype, Polaris, etc.) I can't seem to find them in the usual system/app folder...
Can anyone tell me where to find these hidden apps? They do appear in the apps list, but I can neither unistall them or disable them...
Thanks for any assistance on the matter!
Is your phone now rooted ???

With Titanium Backup, you can delete these apk files
Hello Friends,
Actually I am in search of app which gives password protection to delete or Uninstall the apps.
So that anyone cannot delete or uninstall any of my installed apps..
So anyone is fond of or know any such app??
If yes then please please reply me...
thanks in advance...
this is just an idea
first download a app which can lock system app then just lock the package installer and whenever you will try to install or uninstall app you will need password
you should also lock market as market do not need package installer to install and uninstall apps

Is it possible to delete Google Hangouts from my phone completely?
I don't use it, nor will I ever use it, so why does it have to be on my phone? I am so sick of having it pop up in Play Store reminding me to update it, when I don't even use it. I would rather it be deleted from my phone so I will never be prompted to update it again. The saddest part is they must know what a complete dud this app is as they've removed the uninstall tab on the play store page (well for me its removed and I can't uninstall it from the play store) but they sure as hell like to remind me the bloody thing needs updating ...
Could someone please advice the best method to rid my phone of this nuisance.
Thx
You can uninstall it with titanium back up as long as you are rooted but I'd freeze it first to be safe. Don't think you can uninstall it without root
Sent from my GT-N7105 using xda premium
with root you can uninstall it via rootexplorer or search here for aromafile manager, with this you can delete it in recovery, just flash aromafile man zip in cwm and go to system/apps and delete it,exit filemanager and reboot, done.
I've searched for google hangouts via rootexplorer and titanium and its not listed. Is it installed under a different name?
Thx

Maybe it can help you.
I have recently decided to root my S6 Edge with much success. anyhow now my Google Play Store now pops up Unfortunately Google Play Store has stopped! I have tryed everything i can possibly think of and still no luck.
My question is do I really need it? I hardly use it. I always just download my APK files. Even if i needed to update id just download the APK.
Please let me know and if I should look into a way to factory reset.
Rooting by itself doesn't cause Google Play Store to FC. Did you make any changes like deleting system apps?

I had to factory reset after rooting.
just download the Google Play Store apk file and install, it's should fix your problem, unless some app or you changed something in your ROM causing the problem,
