[Q] Broken wifi antenna - Sony Ericsson Xperia Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Pro, A

Hey guys! I have Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman WT19i and I accidentally broken wifi antenna while tried to detach motherboard from its case. Do you have any idea how to fix this? There are two antennas one near anoter but with only one antenna 3 m away from router phone doesn't catch any wifi signal. I don't know if that thing is really a wifi antenna, but I guess so because that thing makes contact with cooper pin on the phone case.
Thanks in advance!

Questions go to the Q&A.
And electronics are quite sensitive, you can not repair them. The antenna could have been affected by electrostatic discharge.

I just fixed it myself. Anyway, thanks.

[Q] Weak or no signal on GTI9100

Recently my provider signal got so weak that now if I am indoors the signal is gone until i go outside. Tried to upgrade via Kies to ICS but the problem persists.
When I stick a small piece of wire in the external antenna connection, my signal goes to full and is perfect!? Is this a hardware or a software problem?
It seems that the internal antenna is not responding because as soon as I remove the wire the signal is gone or is minimal.
For now I keep the wire connected behind the cover and the phone is usable.
As I can see this is a common problem and many complaints are posted on this topic all over the place.
Can anybody help? Thanks in advance.

Internal antenna
Thanks for the link,
Unfortunately I made a mistake by trying to connect an external antenna, not being aware of the consequences. Reading the posts it looks like I will have to bridge the external antenna socket and connect it directly.
Time to bring out the soldering gun and get to work.
I will try a few other options in the meanwhile.
Sh.. happens, anyway thanks for the help, regards...

Can't you just try different headphones?

It's just the connection. The lead I use to connect to my stereo is the same, but my earphones are just fine.
I don't believe it's a problem with the phone hardware.
Just out of interest do you use a case? I only ask because my connection is more sensitive if I have the case on. I looked and the case actually slightly gets in the way and the jack is not quite so deep, but earphones are still fine.

Try another headphone before assuming its the jack
You can also try cleaning the jack, see if that helps

[Q] Hardware issue - Antenna - Poor reception

Hello guys,
I'm having a reception issue with my beloved S2. In my opinion it is a hardware issue, because when I connect some wire to the external antenna jack at the back of the phone (that connector at the left of the sim card, just above the battery), the receptions improves.
Does anybody know where S2 antenna is at? Can it be replaced?
Note: I'm using the original USB-flex. I know it messes up with the reception when it is replaced.
Thank you in advance

Wifi/Bluetooth/Mobile Data dont work

Hello,
i just got the z2 from my uncle. He told me Wifi doesnt work anymore so he got a new phone.
After investigating i found out that Bluetooth doesnt work either. Both Options just wont "turn on". Reseting/Updating/Safemode didnt fix it so i it seems to be a hardwareissue(the phone has no scratches or anything).
I emailed with Sony Care, told them what i knew, they told me to send it in, told me its an hardwareissue which isnt covered by the warranty and i had to pay 15€ to get the phone back.
Today i opened the phone and everything seemed fine inside(antenna wasnt loose or anything). But now i also cant use Mobile Data anymore(calling works perfectly), im pretty sure it worked before tho. Im also not sure if GPS works(google maps wont open)
How do i go about fixing this?
I thought about getting those things: "Sony Xperia Z2 D6502 D6503 Antenne Antenna WiFi GPS", "Wifi Antenne Antenna Flex Kabel Koaxial Coaxial Signal" and "Z2 Replacement Wi-Fi Antenna Board PCB Original"
.. but that probably wont fix Bluetooth?! Is Bluetooth directly on the Mainboard and id have to replace that too?!
Thanks for your help
