If its SDS take to a service centre if you are just guessing that its SDS then post exact problem
I'm not just guessing.. I've read about it for like 2~3 hours and tried to find a fix.
but the only fix is by flashing the 4.1.2 + roms but it can't even recognize my phone
when i worke up today, my phone wouldn't respond and the blue light just flickered. (i mean i couldn't turn the screen on.)
then i just took the battery off, and when i put it back and tried to boot my phone, nothing happend.
and now my phone is probably just dead.
so.. anyone can help me please?
You are guessing .
Their is NO FIX .
You require a new motherboard no ifs and or buts .

1) Complete eMMC failure. This usually happens over night whilst on charge* - The LED may be lit but the phone will not wake. Subsequent removal of the battery will turn off the LED. You will never get the LED back on. The phone will never turn on again. It needs to go to a service centre and have the motherboard replaced

Hi Guys, I have an unrooted Xperia X10a that had the rebooting issue where it restarts itself if I do heavy applications. I thought this was a software issue, so I tried to update the android software from 1.something to 2.something. However the phone rebooted in the middled of the update so now I have a dead phone. It no longer boots up (I don't even see the sony ericsson screen) and the only thing that works is holding the back button and inserting in the usb which gives me the green solid light and I hear the computer detecting it usb sounds. There's no light that turns on if I connect it through the power adapter so is there anyone who have experienced this issue that fixed it? Thanks and hopefully some of you guys will give me some solutions
use seus and repair..
this is a common problem
seus requires me to fully boot up the phone. As of right now if I try and turn the phone on, it just vibrates once(the normal power on vibrate) and the screen remains blank. If I plug the phone in on the pc I get a green LED light.
i have thesame problem here... i have search every day but it seems theres no SOLUTION for this kind of problem... developers please help us here

hmm.. try running the repair again.
could be a motherboard issue.
are you still under warranty?
I have exactly the same problem ,I flashed it with flashtool an PC compagnon many times . it works but when I reboot it about 4 or 5 times the problem come up again (vibrates once but no turning on)
It's seems like the flash memory losts its containing .
I've also notices then when this problem occurs the battery is not chargin ,so the charging is software-dependant .

download this http://www.filesonic.com/file/1998392364 install it and just follow the instructions and it'll boot up.
k now my phone doesn't even turn on after I tried to root it with the flash tool. No red light led nothing. I know there's atleast 30% battery before it fully died and refuse to restart.
Just try another repair BUT first charge to 100%.
Pull out battery plug in wall charger put battery in an leave off for 30 minutes then turn on and let charge to 100%.
Can't charge it to 100%. Phone refuses to turn on... no red light nothing happens when I plug in the usb through wall charger and the computer.

Have you tried the flash mode ?
Get an independent battery charger from SE, charge it to 100% then use it to help you flash a firmware back.
The SEUS works for me..thank you all..
I have read the similar threads, unfortunately they do not seem to help.
Relevant information:
ROM: Cyanogenmod 9 2nd June 2012 Nightly
Kernel: Siyah 3.2.8
What happened: I was playing Rage of Bahamut (a game, nothing too intensive) when my screen appeared to dim and get stuck on the current image. I could press the home button and the screen will turn off, pressing home button 4 times triggered the inverted colors mode but I could not get to the homescreen itself, so I turned off the phone. When I tried to turn it on again it won't turn on.
What I tried:
Swapping out with a full battery - Doesn't work
Booting with USB Jig - Doesn't work
Plugging in to PC to see if USB is recognized - Doesn't work
Trying Recovery and Download key combinations - Doesn't work
I'm utterly at a loss as my phone appeared to be working fine, and from what I read the SGS2 is unbrickable. However I have been reading on the Siyah thread that 3.2.8 has a lot of issues and I really hope that I'm not experiencing another hard brick like what happened with Siyah 3.2.1RC6 (IIRC).
Thanks for reading! Hope someone has a suggestion.
Note: Interestingly, when I plug in the charging cable after a while the back of the phone gets warm; However still nothing happens when I attempt to turn it on. No response, no vibration, no soft key lights no nothing.
Service center (JTAG repairer might well say unfixable). No signs of life, no download mode, no jig. Dead phone.

I was kinda resigned to that. Just hoping one of you guys might have an obscure method to bring the phone back to life.
Thanks for your kind reply!
U cant turn the phone on, your pc doesnt recognize it, you cant go into recovery or download mode, you cant use USB jig. Oh boy, you're in deep trouble. Maybe the charge of the phone might be finished? U sure the other battery you placed was fully charged? I have never seen someone whose phone doesn't turn on at all, and even the pc doesnt recognize!
---------- Post added at 01:42 AM ---------- Previous post was at 01:31 AM ----------
Dude, i dont even think this is a problem related to the software. I think its probably the hardware. Maybe the battery case has some defect? You should go see an expert for this.

Indeed I suspect it's hardware also. The strange thing is, I took the battery out to charge it in an external charger, and left the phone battery-less while I slept. When I woke up, I put the battery in and tried to turn on the phone. No luck. Strange thing was that after a while the phone felt warm.
Hi
I've been having a look around the forum and there seems to be some really good tips on fixes so i thought i'd ask someone if they can help me?
Basically I've received a Galaxy S3 GT-I9300 in for repair as it is completely dead. It will not charge or turn on at all and I have tried a new charger and battery but still no joy. There are no signs of liquid damage on the board and the charge socket looks good as i am getting a reading of 3.3V on the multimeter when i take a reading off the battery charge pins so power is running through the board.
I've read somewhere that these phones can have a problem with the MAX77686 Chip and was wondering if this could be causing the problem as i am pretty much stumped?
Thanks

then no luck! just follow JJE's suggestion above.
The last option is to try, JIG,,
Otherwise, as it says, service,
you have to try this
there is a something called jig
its a device you can make it or buy it from amazon
it is cable (usb) with resistivity 300
(150+150) or (100+100+100)
you plug in with your devcie and it will run in dfu mode and then plug it in your computer on odien

Samsung Galaxy SII SGH-i777
OMNI 4.4 Nightly
I've been having charging problems ever since installing this ROM. When I plugged it in before, it would show a battery with a question mark. The phone eventually died and it won't boot up. I am not really sure what else to put but just ask and I'll answer.
yeah, that's a weird bug with OMNI right now -The phone isn't really OFF when it's off. It shows the questionmark and gets very hot, and it won't boot while it's plugged in. I have submitted a jira report, which just got downgraded to minor. You have to unpplug the phone from any usb charger or port and hope that it has enough juice to boot. Then leave it charging while it's ON.
I'm not sure how to recover from a dead battery in this case, unless the battery-out download-mode thing works? give me fifteen minutes and I'll try it...

sorry @jmsato,
if your battery really is too low to boot the phone, then the only option I'm aware of is to ODIN it to stock and start over.
1)remove the battery
2)plug the phone into a pc usb port
3)hold vol+ & vol- & power until the warning appears
maybe someone else knows some trick way to charge a battery out of the phone.

Hi all,
Something very weird just happened to my phone
The phone was fully charged when I unplugged this morning and I was using it on my way to work as usual
However, when I look at my phone now... the screen is off and there is only a blinking blue light that is indicating the phone still has battery
I know my way around an android phone, so i've already tried the following:
- plugging to PC, but did not recognize the phone
- hold power button with any combination of the volume buttons for 30sec (or longer)
- plugged it into a charger for the past hour
All my attempts have yielded no results. The screen is still off and the blue LED is still consistently blinking
Oddly, when I am holding the power button, the blue LED will blink 4x, followed by a 5sec interval where nothing is happening... and then blue LED blink 4x (rinse and repeat)
and when i let go the power button, the blue LED light will resume blinking constantly without any breaks....
This is very strange and I hope it isn't a hardware failure because up until 3hrs ago, this was a perfectly working phone
more details:
- phone has bootloader unlocked
- phone is rooted and running PAC-rom
- phone is protected by case and it was not dropped recently
any suggestions? help?
thanks

I sent a couple messages... turned off the screen.... and a few minutes later, the screen was off and i couldn't do anything
the phone has been charging for multiple hours now, I finally decided to unplug it... however, no changes... still blinking blue LED and no response
