I tried acid, but my dx ended up with blank screen, I hope they will port it soon.

this is just a tweak...like xloud and bravia that ported to other phones...
I think it is very easy to port it from desire....
is there anyone know what files related to the beats?

Y not try it yourself??
Beats requires some proper hardware and htc framework and its done by HTC, so impossible to port it..
Have you ever been able to run a HTC Sense launcher on different phone?? No..
Have you been able to run timescape and SE stuff on other phones?? Yes..
So that showz y it was easy to port tweaks like bravia engine n stuff...
Anyway, best of luck in porting beats audio...

Beats is activated by editing a smali file within the individual HTC apps such as the music app which relies on Sense frameworks as well as editing codecs. Not easy to port at all.

[MOD] Beats Audio on Android

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1511335
This thread has a link to a cwm flashable package that has Beats Audio libraries. I flashed it on my TouchPad and it sounds a lot better, but I might just be crazy?
Note: I'm using Beats headphones with it, not the speakers.
Double Note: I didn't pay for the headphones, don't worry. Ugh. haha

Doesn't the Touchpad already have Beats Audio built in? The hardware is what's going to make the difference--this is just an equalizer with a bass boost.

Beats Audio isn't indicative of differing hardware. When the libs were extracted from the HTC Rezound, it was discovered that Beats is nothing more than a software EQ, capable of running on any device once the correct files are installed. Flash it and you'll hear a difference.

Sure, you're right. It's late, I'm tired and should start to think before I post...
I used this Viper on my old phone, the HTC Aria, which was only ARMv6 (I lost it, that's why I came here), and there it worked fine on CM without having to port anything. The thing is, you just have to specify the right device driver in a menu, then it works fine for most phones. But I'm not sure if it is a good idea to try this on top of xpirts mod. Btw, to my ear xpirts mod is definitely better than Viper4Android, also in Viper4Android you have to do a lot of settings before you have a good sound experience.
@xpirt: I have got a request. Could you design an app in which we can enable/disable the different components of your mod? For example when I connnect a small speaker to my phone with the headphone plug, there is too much base for this speaker, but when I connect my earphones it's good again. It's not an urgent issue, just a request.
This is brilliant, sounds very good. Thank you

Music beat effects for custom ROMs

Hi devs
This is a feature request post. I am new here and not sure if it is the right place to post it.
I am looking for an app to bring back music beat light effects that has been lost after I have installed CM11. This is one of the feature of Xperia SP that makes it stand out of the crowd. I have recently known that SONY has released its illumination bar API.

Haha I guess you have what I have. Its actually all working as what Sony expected the beats to be. I think youre listening to some instrumentals (etc) that doesnt have vocals so Walkman just randomly picks up unnecessary tunes in the music and thus a weird light effect. The new one is oriented to vocals if you can tell
The old one was much more accurate in picking instruments and real music and not vocals so you might want to revert if you really want the unintentional version of the lighting effect

[REQUEST] Latest Xperia X Sound System from it's Nougat ROM

Hi everyone. I was exploring between ported stuff from Xperia X and I suddenly remembered I had flashed a ported sound mod from Xperia X which can be found here.
Now the thread is dead. We all now that the device was updated to android Nougat. It might also receive Android O.
The point is, Since there are a lot of universal modified Xperia X audio mod duplicates out there, can any audio professional port the latest Sony audio system fixed and tweaked for our devices?
Ok, I think you can help by asking people whom you know can do such stuff.
You might wanna take a look over this sound mod, it packs more than you could ever want : http://androidexpert35developer.altervista.org/xtrememusic-download/
