Hi everyone. I was exploring between ported stuff from Xperia X and I suddenly remembered I had flashed a ported sound mod from Xperia X which can be found here.
Now the thread is dead. We all now that the device was updated to android Nougat. It might also receive Android O.
The point is, Since there are a lot of universal modified Xperia X audio mod duplicates out there, can any audio professional port the latest Sony audio system fixed and tweaked for our devices?
Ok, I think you can help by asking people whom you know can do such stuff.
You might wanna take a look over this sound mod, it packs more than you could ever want : http://androidexpert35developer.altervista.org/xtrememusic-download/

His account is banned from xda for so many reasons. I wouldn't recommend to flash anything by androidexpert35.
You can use ARISE with core and Sony music suite module. It contains latest sound system from Xperia XZ.

I've tried it. It's rich but too many modifications. It breaks all of the other sound mods+ ported stuff from snap820! I mean, man I just want a clean one. This is too much.

It was banned due to the user community for pirating the premium apk and sharing it on the original thread. I've been using the mod for almost an year and i couldn't find anything better in the course.

A ported soundsystem from a device of the same SoC is better than using a bloated Universal Sound mod.

i installed it but i dont see the beats logo in the status bar.
why is that?
btw i have xperia go st27i (with ics and root.)
only thing ive gotten is my music doesnt play any more
MY BAD
This ****** up my phone. I know better than to install some podunk apk like this without backing up. MY BAD
I would advise anyone NOT to install this app - it does not make any difference to the sound quality of the device - if anything it will make it worse as any dsp or equalisers won't work as they will force close
This app is virtually impossible to uninstall & if you do its like dsp will still force close
The only way to get rid of it is with a nandroid backup
Good to read.i close this thread.

Hi devs
This is a feature request post. I am new here and not sure if it is the right place to post it.
I am looking for an app to bring back music beat light effects that has been lost after I have installed CM11. This is one of the feature of Xperia SP that makes it stand out of the crowd. I have recently known that SONY has released its illumination bar API.

The SONY lighting effect hasn't been fully developed for CM11 as far as I know. Maybe you can use CUSTOM SONY ROMs as an alternative :good:

Haha I guess you have what I have. Its actually all working as what Sony expected the beats to be. I think youre listening to some instrumentals (etc) that doesnt have vocals so Walkman just randomly picks up unnecessary tunes in the music and thus a weird light effect. The new one is oriented to vocals if you can tell
The old one was much more accurate in picking instruments and real music and not vocals so you might want to revert if you really want the unintentional version of the lighting effect

Is there ANY way someone an rip the Audio Tuner from Oxygen 2.2.1 and below and rework it so it's compatible with Oxygen 3.0+? It was confirmed that OP will no longer support it in their upcoming OS versions and therefore (unless they have a better alternative) the sound quality will be terrible. I don't like Viper so no. Currently I'm on their 3.0 beta with a flashed "Audio FX" mod that works better than nothing. However the Audio Tuner they had in 2.2.1 was by far the best for me.

I don't know, i don't flash anything, just downloaded the app and activate the alpha test ( v3 ),
So i'm not sure if it work on OOS 3.0,
If not, i think it might work with V4P driver
OOS 3.0 beta has crappy audio, it is fixed with v3.0.1 so try that first. And try to get used to V4A, it is complicated but awesome

White Sound Enhancement
White Sound Enhancement ( No DSEE HX )
Sony has introduced media apps in white recently. But for older devices (Z-Z3+),they didn't provide the white Sound Enhancement, which is only available for Z5. But for me,Z5 one is not activating any features like "S-Force surround" or "Clear Phase" or "Clear Audio+" etc. It shows activated but not indeed. So, I have modded the Z3+ Sound Enhancement to look exactly like the Z5 one and with All features working

Pitty about the camera thing. Looked really cool. Thanks for reporting!
Also found another mod, XTreme music (by the same developer, according to him it should go along with the Sound X thing):
http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/mod-beatsaudio-e-xloud-installer-t3029951
It has a systemless version, but to my understanding, it only works with systemless xposed so you might wanna try the non-systemless one.

Maybe it's also necesary to extract the apk?
BTW, so I got the MM update. I tried the X sound thing and at first worked fine but at some point suddenly audio settings stopped working. I still get audio, but if i try to open the audio settings i get "Unfortunately, Audio settings stoped working". I tried deleting cache and restarting, also setting SElinux on permissive to no avail.
UPDATE: finally was able to fix it by deleting the app cache manually (before i just disable and re-enabled the app)
UPDATE 2: apparently it happens if I activate the equalizer.
