How to find out your lost phone IMEI? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

First of all give pressure on your brain
& try to remember have you ever
accessed your GMAIL account or
Playstore on your Android mobile
phone? If no then probably this
process not gonna work for you still
give a try. But if yes then congo you
can find IMEI number of your lost
android phone.
In this guide we will try to find IMEI
number from the Google Server. You
may or you might like to know that
how your IMEI number get stored on
google server. So here it is >
whenever you open gmail a/c or open
playstore on an Android phone all your
phone data automatically get synced &
stored in google server.
Process…
1) Open google server dashboard
2) Now think which email ID you
have used to access gmail a/c
previously, entered that a/c ID &
password to sign in google
dashboard.
3) Now scroll down untill you see
the Android logo.
4) Now click on that Android Logo
& it will show all the synced
Android device with that Gmail ID
.
5) Now find your lost device :

registered, logged in but still a guest

Your account looks OK. Try loggin in again. If that doesn't work, use the PM feature to send me a new password you'd like...

Saturday night, still broken. Surely there is something you can do to
help me with this problem? I "should" receive a confirmation message
that my email configured correctly, but of course I don't. Is there
anyone there who can walk over to whatever server is causing the
problem, reboot it, and see if that fixes it? I am starting to wonder if
I made the right choice to use T-Mobile. I guess I'm stuck with you for
the rest of my service agreement, but I can tell you this isn't going to
be a happy relationship if this issue isn't fixed in some way.
If you can't figure out how to fix the problem with your server, could
you AT LEAST ask your network people to unblock port 25 so I can use a
different SMTP server for outgoing mail? Then at least I'm getting some
fraction of the service I'm paying for. Right now the email portion of
your service is useless.
WHO DO I NEED TO TALK TO FOR THIS TO BE ADDRESSED? Your phone reps keep
saying I "get more" with t-mobile, but all I'm getting more of right now
is frustration and unresponsiveness.

Getting desperate, I tried configuring email from a different computer
running a different windows version and downloaded the SMC client, your
server was still unable to detect that the client was running.
Please, I would like some kind of idea as to how to fix this, it's
important that I am able to get my mail when I am away from the office,
I have a trip coming up this weekend and now there is no way to access
my email remotely! please?

when I double click on the smc client icon in the systray and click
'ok' it makes an error message that says "tmpwpcli.exe has generated
errors and will be closed by windows. You will need to restart the
program". But there is nothing in the event log about it.

Still trying to configure email. I uninstalled the SMC, logged into My-
Tmobile, went to the email setup, downloaded the SMC client, clicked
next and I still get the error "Error communicating with teh SMC client.
Please ensure client is downloaded to your PC and is running properly."
So there is something still wrong, how do I fix it please?

Tried that, also called support and after being escalated the technical
person said your server seems to be having a problem. Still down as of
6:30 pm Pacific time on Wednesday. Hope you can fix this soon as I'll
need to be able to access email when I'm out of the office. Ticket #

step instructions on how to configure your email on T-Mobile.com.
1) Log into your T-Mobile.com account from a pc
2) Click the "My Email" link
3) Click the =3FSetup" link
4) Click the "Add New Mailbox" Link
5) Enter the email address and password associated with the email
account you wish to access.
6) Click "next"
7) Enter any additional information required then click "next"
8) You should receive a confirmation message stating your email account
was configured successfully. Please keep in mind that you can only
configure pop3, IMAP, Outlook, or corporate email (Only using T-Zones
Pro). You cannot configure mailboxes such as Hotmail or AOL email

Tmobile secure email connector says the mail server it is configured to
contact does not appear to be a valid mail server.When I log into the T-
Mobile web site and click"My email"I go to a blank page and nothing
happens.When I try to retrieve mail from my PocketPC Phone, I get an
error saying"mail cannot be downloaded".I also received an SMS this
afternoon that my mail account had to be fixed somehow but the message
was cut off and I was unable to find out what was neededWhat am I doing

Just opened my viewsonic Gtablet from Tigerdirect. Ran the OTA update and now running 3588, otherwise straight out of the box.
I am unable to log into any account using an app (mail, contacts, skype, tdameritrade, twitter apps). I am able to log in fine when I visit the website and login through the web.
Is there someplace I have to grant apps permissions to use the internet? Why can't I log in?

No. There is no special place to grant permissions to use the internet. Do you get any kind of error message? Force Close? Some indication of symptoms might help us diagnose the problem.
Get an app called Superuser. You will need to root the tab, as well. I think there's something like "oneclickroot" out there.
Honestly, grab a custom ROM, they all come with this standard.
Rooting shouldn't be necessary to make any of those apps work so I doubt that will help him.
Google login fails, 2 step verification is culprit
This may not solve your problem, but it knocked me for a loop for a whole evening with my new motorola defy this week.
You get a new android device, and everything looks so nice, but then you try to log in to your google account. Repeatedly. You keep getting an error that says the username or password are wrong, even though you can log in on your pc. OBVIOUSLY the password is fine, but it wont work on your new android device.
Well, if you turned on 2-part authentication then you have a problem. (If you have never heard of 2-part authentication then move on, you would have to have done this on purpose and it is way to painful to forget having done it.)
Android doesnt support 2-part authentication. So you have to generate a special password for your android device.
Start by logging in to gmail, or whatever google service you wish. Go to your account settings (the little gear-looking thing in the upper right.) Under Personal Settings, Security you'll see an entry called "Authorizing applications & sites". Go here and make an entry for your device, and it will generate a special password for that specific google application that doesnt happen to support 2-part authentication. Enter your super-secret password.
Suddenly the world is golden.
Probably not what the OPs problem was, but I wanted to put it SOMEWHERE.

Found a way to use google now to update facebook status.

Not sure if anyone else has ever thought about this but i have worked up a way to update my facebook status directly from google now on my g watch using tasker and the google search api. So now i just have to say "ok google...facebook post...(anything i say after that gets posted as my status). Have been thinking about doing this for a while and finally figured it all out last night. What i used to do this was tasker/ google search api/ and autovoice. If anyone wants to know the full process i can try to explain it in a post, not sure how many people would be interested in something like that.
Interested!
Step 1. Obtain secret facebook email address http://email.about.com/od/Facebook-...Your-Secret-Facebook-Upload-Email-Address.htm
2. Make sure you have Google search api version 1.4 installed. You can get it here https://www.dropbox.com/s/cev1js6f8ddscsm/GoogleSearchAPI.apk?dl=0 Also install sendsilentmail plugin for tasker and autovoice.
3. Import profile (https://www.dropbox.com/s/7dt4u7uq1jpv8r9/Facebook_Post.prf.xml?dl=0) and go into the sendsilentmail plugin in the profile and input your own email for sender address and for "to address" put in secret facebook email address obtained in step 1.
Than save and back out of profile reboot phone. Now just say "ok google...Facebook post ..(say what you want the post to say quickly but clearly) and voila post made to facebook using Google now 
Remember you must be rooted and have xposed framework installed to have this work. If you run into any issues I'll try my best to help.
Will work on seeing if it's possible without root access.

I found a solution, I asked directly on official Vivo website to create a Vivo account for me and they sent to me by email a username and password to use and now it work 100% with all the Vivo app working fine
I have still now only a problem to change the launcher, I'll ask them tomorrow
I am using vivo x21ud and am having the same problem. I live in Turkey, and unfortunately I can not take the wrong phone number in vivo account comply. VİVOOOOO sense our voice.

Hello, I did it. I live in Italy, I cannot register a Vivo account by phone number so I asked to create an account for me directly to the official support page of Vivo. They gave it to me by email, so I put username and password in the Vivo account app of the smartphone, then in Setting - more setting - security- replace the system launcher. It works

I live in Turkey and I could not stop vivo account. I asked for help on the Vivo global internet page and they sent me my username and password. I love Vivo x21ud and vivo.

Thank you, that did the trick. The only thing is that you have to be very careful to don't put any personal information on the VivoCloyd because if I'm not wrong that is a public account and and public password. That is according to their email.
