Hello everyone.
Ive been having issues with a desire x connecting to any wireless connection.
I installed a rom a long time ago from skydragon and it had issues then. So I installed one from shadow team.
Now I cant turn on wifi or get any signal. It says service not available.
Does anyone know a fix or do I need to install a different rom?

Okay so I just bought the G-Tab yesterday, rooting & flash install went fine. However I've noticed one thing & wondered if anyone else has the same problem. When my G-Tab is wirelessly tethered to my HTC Hero (CDMA) I noticed that flash will not play. However if connected to my wireless router at home, flash will play fine with no problems. So the question is, is flash playing dependent upon bandwidth? If so is there a way to circumvent this issue?
Wow thats new.. not sure why you are having that problem, which version of flash are you running. I tether my tablet with my motorola cliq (GSM) have never had any issues what so ever.. I just tethered my sister's Motorola Droid(Verizon) to my tablet and it works just the same the data connection was slower than T-Mobile but flash still worked.... what Rom and kernel are you using that might also be the problem

I'm running CM7 with kernel 2.6.29.6-CyanogenMod [email protected] #1.
Should I try running a different kernal & if so what would you suggest?
Hey, I have noticed that there has not been a lot of activity on the cyanogenmod website ( I cannot post links yet) for very many devices, anybody know why? Please let me know.... Thanks!

You mean, we will actually get an official CM9 ROM from Cyanogenmod? I was thinking that the Aria might be too old.
wouldn't hold my breath, even if CM9 will work on Aria, there are many bugs that I'm not sure can be fixed.
I love cyanogen and love all the hard work, but it seems that with every version there are just more and more bugs.
I´ve tried the CM9 on my aria and I think it will work properly when they get a new egl
I had seen that, What is EGL? Thanks
[ROM][ICS] CyanogenMod 9 [Updated: Feb 9th]
Cannot get CM9 to connect with my home WIFI network. WIFI network is listed with a strong signal, but when I try to connect it displays the getting IP address message and then report that my network is not in range. It will, however, allow me to connect to my neighbor's network. My home network is open w/no security password. Other ROMs, CM7.2 and Liberated 2.2, will connect with my home network. Any thoughts?
Bump.....

Wifi seems to work fine for me running ics. the phone is slow though
I know it is possible to tether android tablet to an android phone via bluetooth so the tablet can use phone internet. Is it possible to do the same with two android phones? I know it's doable over wi-fi, but bluetooth uses less battery.
in this specific case two phones in question are thunderbold and incredible. thunderbolt is rooted, incredible is not but I can root it if needed to make this work.
thank you

Thank you.
Finally I installed ICS on my incredible and paired both phones but still can't tether. any ideas?
I still need help with this.
I rooted my incredible, flashed ICS ROM and installed wifi tether 2.7, there is a bluetooth tether option there.
my thunderbolt has BAMF SoaB and bluetooth tether is greyed out in wifi tether app.
according to my research, it's a kernel issue, I need kernel that has "CONFIG_BT_BNEP". I tried flashing several different kernels with no success.
if anybody is successfully running bluetooth tether on their thunderbolt, please let me know which kernel you have installed.
thank you
on galaxy ace doesn't work :-??
This would be very nice if anyone could get this working.
I've had my Moto Xoom paired and using my phones internet via bluetooth many times, but I think it would be convenient to share by Droid 4's internet with my old D2 as well.
Has anyone had any luck with this besides using a WiFi hot spot and draining your battery in a couple hours?
Hate to make my first post an issue post, but I have searched all over XDA for the answer and couldnt find anything particular to my issue. I flashed CM10 to my phone and noticed my Bluetooth would turn on but would not pick up any devices in device search. I tried multiple speakers and headsets and nothing would work. I did a hard wipe and installed MeanBean thinking that it was a ROM related issue. Tried it again on MeanBean and same issue. I tried fixing permissions and Bluetooth Fix app and still nothing. Can anyone help?
(I am on the latest radio/firmware and v.06 MeanBean)
Same exact issue !

My evo lte has been doing this for as long as i can remember also. I've been through dozens of roms and full wipes and still no bluetooth at all, not even recognizable.
Try deleting everything that is paired or was paired and then reboot. You may have Bluetooth defects if that still doesnt work. I have used on many sense roms, cm10, 10.1 varients with no problems. Hope that helps.

Im having the same issue
I have updated my radios and noticed that i lost my Bluetooth connectivity. I was originally running meanrom ics until JB came around. Then updated my radios and moved to JB MeanBean. I did an Ruu and got it back to stock. No dice, stock rom Bluetooth still cannot find or be found. I tried my laptop ipad macbook car audio everything and nothing works. I ve never had any issues with my phone and it seems after Jelly Bean Bluetooth is non existent.
Currently I am running
Twrp 2.3.1
Arc Reactor Kernel
MeanBean3.09
Is there a way to see if the actual Bluetooth is borked or if its working properly, "if its sending a signal"?
Is it possible that something happened when upgrading that the BlueTooth became corrupted? or can it just plain old stop working, died?
At that point if it's Borked on several roms
Then it's time to take it into sprint. That's a manufacturer defect / issue and they should swap it out. Assuming you bought legit from them

Yes I bought it legit when it came out. I also have the insurance plan with Sprint. The only thing I'm worried about is the new hboot and unlocking/rooting the new phone .
But I guess if it means a new phone then I guess its best... To get a fresh new evo

Hi,
I have updated my international HTC One X to CM10 ver(10-20121221 NIGHTLY). However, i find that the GPS doesn't pickup any satellites at all.
I went back to my stock ROM and found that the GPS was working fine. On reading some threads about similar problems, i tried downloading AGPS data but that too did not work.
I also flashed a AGPS Fix for HTC One X ver3.1 but that too didn't work.
Is somebody else having a similar experience ? Were you able to fix it ? Any help would be great... I hate to go back to a Sense ROM.
Why don't you ask this in the One X forum?
