I have a problem with the mass storage Usb fuction on my huawei U8185 (phone does not detect SD card after unpluggin USB cable). I have another stock Rom free from this problem, I want to copy files which correlated with this function on my actual rom, but I don't know which files to replace with the ones from the stock rom. I've been having problems with my USB mass storage mode. It turns on fine, and I can transfer whatever files I want, but after I'm done and I turn off the USB storage mode, the ROM crashes. I've ejected the phone and the SD card from the computer before switching off the USB storage, but it crashes still.
Is this a known issue or there's something wrong with my phone / me?
Mass storage is been buggy for all kexec based ROMs for Razrs.
I suggest use AirDroid.

When I am copying a huge file from my internal / extSD memory to a OTG usb stick, I am somewhat unable to use my phone during the copying process. It appears as if my phone has slowed down a lot or frozen.
Same happens when copying from my laptop to internal or extSD memory via MTP.
Any ideas how to fix this?
When I connect to USB OTG of my phone with a pendrive it says drive error everytime... what might be the problem ???
recently i have bought 128gb memory card for my z2.i have connected the z2 using usb cable & transfer videos,songs & images to sd card using MTP format (i couldnt use mass storage because when i'm tring to connect using mass storage it appears a msg that you need to format the memory card which i'm done for several times i do have a pc with windows xp) anyhow i have transferred the files to memory card & make sure all the files have been copied.after i remove usb cable and explore the files through 'xplore' it shows that some audio files in my memory card have been lost but some audio files including all videos and images are there in my memory card.some specific files have been missed i have copy and paste those files to another folder same has happen there..... could you please help me out

here's the problem.... in my stock rom otg works
just fine.... mounts automatically and all apps shows
external drive option....
but in one of my fav. custom rom it doesn't
mounts.... I've to manually mount it with a mounting
app (usb host diagnostic) to root>mnt>usbotg.....
then, I can enter it from root>mnt>usbotg with x-
plore... but it doesn't show up in any app as
external storage drive, as if it hasn't recognized by
Android at all.
But in stock rom its working just fine..... Its not a
problem with otg as i can access it and read and
write files in it..... I think its just a problem about
mounting.... any solution to make usb otg visible to
all apps as external storage drive?

I want to transfer my data from internal storage to OTG USB, but unfortunately I am unable to do it, even can't delete files from OTG USB when it's attached with phone.
I am only able to transfer files from OTG USB to internal storage or SD Card.
Currently my phone is on custom rom CM13.
If anyone can help me that will be very thankful.
