[Q] Status 7 error on assert raw write "boot img" - LG Optimus L9 P760, P765, P768, P769

any one have an idea to fix this error im trying to build custom rom.

i'd suggest use the META INF folder of the official p760 cm10.1
remove everything from the updater script except the boot.img flash part

Hi guys. Please help someone. Where can I download the factory firmware? Not available in the system since the downgrade AiO R5A. Just by skipping the wifi or mobile election I get after each restart. The recovery work, but one could not install firmware as update.zip. You'll have to do something, or take it in for repair?

I'm sorry, but to me that's high. The temp directory is empty, there is no recovery.log so I can not write here
--------
in recovery write - 0123456789abcdef recovery
normal boot - list of attached
---
"/tmp/recovery.log does not exist"

In recovery after an update fails wait 1 minute and use adb pull /tmp/recovery.log
/tmp is only there in recovery in normal boot it is /cache/recovery/last_log
BTW normal boot - list of attached means that your driver is not properly installed in normal boot, although it installed in recovery.
I thik yours is Spain model ES? Therefore you should need that update

Ok then. With the tablet ON and running normal. Use a file explorer to open /cache/recovery/last_log then move that file to your PC. Then rename it to last_log.txt and copy and paste the text here.

may be that the Tablet S 3G firmware installed R5a for me is the Xperia Tablet S
The whole story started JB, and with motochopper root and install Flasher R6B with 3G, but there was no network. Here have been trying to somehow bring back if you manage to get a factory upgrade, but since there was no pile of failed JB managed to put together but that did not work properly, as there was only wifi, and the update did not go because, according to the latest software on it. Then I went down to the R5A 4.0.3 3G, but that might have been on the Tablet S, and it is not Xperia.
any suggestions ?

scatter file is the one included in every stock rom that is flashable to sp flash tools, when you load the scatter file, it loads a list of partitions and it allows you to flash files onto those partition, in thus case you needed the partition table to flash the recovery, so you need to load the scatter file that is found on any stock rom made for flash tools

Error 7 while trying to flash a custom rom

I've tried to flash a custom rom with TWRP 3.1.1 (see [german] screenshot).
The device IS a E5823; in earlier times this error always points to the fact, that I'm not using the latest TWRP; but, there is no newer version for my device available.
Where can I search to fix this error?
Got it! The path /system with the file build.prop is missing in my rom, so the variable ro.product.device cannot be resolved.
This needs more work...

Is Miui 10 faster then 9?
Not sure if placebo but it feels faster to me. I think there's a youtuber who showed it was faster as well.

Yes.
Also, make a copy of the downloaded zip file because the contents of the zip file changes during flashing. So, you need to use different zip file than the one used previously in case the upgrade fails.

Nope. My wording was wrong. Sometimes the updater app can't verify the zip file and shows error like "Can't install unofficial ROM". I was referring to that case.

Which is the correct way to go back to stock rom?

Hello, i was on RR rom for joyeuse, but i tried to flash the new stock rom version (11.0.7) i did a Data format with twrp, reboot to twrp, wipe factory and flash the zip of stock rom(11.0.7), reboot to system and my device shows me system destoyed XD.
So i go to my pc, open Miflash 20-3-14, tried to flash V11.0.5 but it shows me an error "error reading sparse file", i tried again but now it shows an error sending userdata too many links.
After that i tried to flash xiaomi eu rom(11.0.4 fastboot) so I open the "installer" for windows, but ends with an error too at step 3/7 (FAILED (Error reading sparse file) ).
I finally recover my phone flashing the twrp and flashing the xiaomi eu rom (11.0.5), but I have no idea what I did wrong trying to go back with MiFlash.
Any suggestion of the correct steps to go back to stock? thanks!
pd: I reboot the pc so many times and the device too but always end with an error :'c
(sorry for bad english :fingers-crossed: )
SOLVED: it was a problem on my pc, I think a problem on the drivers
