I have an app called button savior right now but its just not cutting it for me.
soft keys
My softkeys quit lighting and functioning too.
Messed with Button Savior as well.
To be honest, no soft keys in everyday use
is just not workable.
I ended up selling it on eBay and buying another Zound.
Described the problem in listing and a techie bought it to fix it.
Net cost to dump the problem was about $60 all told.
The thing circled in red in your screenshots is call the Navigation Bar. It is part of the system and not the launcher though, just like the notification bar.
I know if you run one of the AOSP variant roms, almost all of them have an option to enable the Nav Bar.
I figured it out luckily there was a fix I was able to do thanks to neo. Simple edit in build.prop on his ROM and now I'm a happy camper. Thanks zourn and Michael
I have too problem in HTC One X. Help me

Hi.
I've been searching but couldn't find the answer of my question.
Is there a app or other way to lock certain tiles of the home screen to disable pressing actions on these tiles? I just want to be able to press my widgets and icons, not the free space.
Thanks in advance
Pemell
I found a few things,not sure this is exactly what your looking for,but this probably the closest thing you'll find.... http://getsatisfaction.com/larvalabs/topics/slidescreen_2_0_beta_3 ,you can also take a look at this.... https://market.android.com/details?...t#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5zcGIuc2hlbGwzZCJd

Look at this:

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I want the brown boarder around the widgets to be unclickable. Don't want it to do anything when I'm pressing it.
Thanks,
Pemell
Bump! Need help about this, anyone knows a solution?
Thanks in advance!
Hi guys.
I know CM can do this, but the volume keys are quite uncomfortable in my xperia phone. My phone has 3 front physical buttonsn and I would love to do something like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Is it possible?
Thanks.
nobody?
I would also like to know this.
For any former TCPMP users on Windows Mobile, you could easily map buttons to do all sorts of things within the player. Nothing has come along for Android that is anywhere near the capabilities of this player. You'd probably need root to do this on Android but I think there is demand for it.

As far I know, you can edit the keyboard layout to make that. Te problem is that you would lose the back/menu buttons...

If someone can show you a solution, it will get your phone model sales higher. Because your requirement seems very useful.

App Clip access your apps with a simple fling...
I find it very usefull in combination with floating apps (lilypad hd, overskreen, hovernote, etc).

Thanks! I just installed it and am liking it a lot! One thing that could be better would be more/custom gestures; I really like swiping in from the right, but it can hinder simple touch presses on the right-side of the screen

True, found that out also... It appears the software is still in development so i hope its gets better and better
try this, i use it on my phone all the time. it doesnt work off of a fling, but it lets you adjust several different grids in several locations, i put mine on top left, i RARELY trigger it with a simple tap
Hey guys I received my HTC One earlier today and I noticed a couple of things, one, there are small gaps between the polycarbonate and the speaker grill and my capacitive buttons seem to have a purple-ish hue to them. it almost seems as if they are not completely lighting up. Has anyone else had this issue?
If not should I go ahead and get it replaced?
The only reason I ask is because when I went to the AT&T store, the display model had the same issue.
By the way, they look sort of like this, except more purple:

Mine have somewhat of a hue.
They look like this:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

i think thats there normal color, as for the gap you can either accept it as it is( i know i did cuz it was not apparent)
or you can get it replaced,

Hello everyone. I am staying in a foreign country for a while and using a scooter to get around with the help of google maps by listening the directions through my headphones. Sometimes though i need to hear again the last directions and so right now i need to stop and take out my phone in order to do that. So here comes the question i have in mind: is there an app to simulate clicking on a certain area on the screen ( the green bar on upper side of google maps that repeats the directions, in my case

) and then reasign that action to my headset button ? Also i am running google maps in background with the screen off but i dont mind it working with the screen on either. I hope you guys can help me. Thanks in advance.
Hello,
If your phone is rooted, you can use "Automate" (Google Play free app) to create a macro.
Never tested with Google Maps, but I think it's work.
Thanks a lot bro !!! I got it to work with the screen on, now i'm trying to make it unlock the phone, run the command and then lock back. I doubt that i will succeed though but it's good enough anyway. Thanks again !!
