tried everything out there,so, just a little review...
ACID--After flashing device strucks at "android" is upgrading" follwed by "process system not responding",final result- blank screen, had to restore nand backup..
PureAudio Engine- Not working at all, instead of increasing, sound quality actually degraded..
Viper4Android- Unable to install Driver, device reboots..
PureXAudio v4.0-Same as PureAudio Engine..actually worse..
Only thing I have found working is noozy player with inbuid noozoxide engine, extra-ordinary sound..

[Q] DSP Manager ICS Sense

Hey is there anyway to get DSP Manager working on sense ics roms because I have tried so many versions of DSP Manager and non would produce sound changes. I even tried the ics version of DSP Manager and still no working. What files are needed to get it working. Some people said you need certain lib files or something but it still did not work.
Also none of the market equalizers work as well.
I like DSP Manager too but I've started using Volume + since ICS hit. Same diff...

[Q] how DSP Manager works? so i can fix my sound issue...

I want to know how DSP Manager is working so i can fix it...
I flashed 3 different ROMs and in all of then SOUND WAS TERRIBLE...
I flashed DSP and tried even flashing it but when i try increasing bass it sound realy awfull like glass breaking...
The only thing i could do to fix the sound was flashing BEATS AUDIO, but it aren't configurable(like DSP Manager) and then DSP Manager/PowerAMP and etc give me ForceClose everytime i open them...
***(With miks CM7 everything was fine, after flashing dynamite,ISC,phoenix sound goes f**** up...)***
I also had this problem some days ago..use the soundfx libs provided in this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1167080
if you want to use beats audio w/o dsp manager fc, use this tweak
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1642961
and if still dsp manager fc's, use dsp manager apk I have attached
tested and worked for me in oxygen 2.7
*Already tried one soundfix didn't work but i can see this one is different and it's for my current ROM -> andy's void...
Will try it and then post back....
ANYWAY will it work becose i have already flashed AUDIO BEATS from original thread or i'll have to reflash Void again...
((( Either the name is wrong or the link is...
The second thread link:
There is thread for the "beats audio w/o dsp manager fc' but it's not THAT LINK...
and sorry but i don't need that kind of program...already tried many of them and none worked... )))

Audio dsp manager for stock xperia sola rom ICS

Hi friends,
I have a Xperia Sola Android with 4.0.4 Original ICS Sony.
I performed the procedure of unlocking the bootloader and install ClockworkMod recovery and superuser;
Happens to me that the default application for music, Walkman not download info music, and through the forum Sony I was told that due to the fact that the bootloader has been unlocked.
I've so installed Apollo and with this (great) player goes all right, though, and I said to myself, I would like to also install the dsp manager CyanogenMod.
Yesterday I tried it, I did before a copy of the firmware and then I installed the dsp-mamanger of cyanogen, but unfortunately I realize that does not produce any better sound effect.
Then I tried with others, viper4Android, AC! D Audio Engine, Noozxoide EIZO-rewire, without any result! Clearly before to test the new app, revert the smartphone of the previous clean rom.
I also removed MusicFX and Walkman, deleted Dalvik cache but always to no avail!
Someone among you has some useful suggestions for me?
PS
Previously using CyanogenMod 10 project freexperia. Perfect sound (and the rest) except for the fact that is not possible to record video, so I decided to go back to stock, for this bug.
thank you very much

Have you checked that beats audio had compatability with the system equalizer? It's very likely that they have messed each other up somehow. My only recommendation is that you reflash your rom, because getting the equalizer to work is hard without a reflash.
Make a nandroid backup of data, wipe system and reflash, and good luck

Not sure about ainur as I only use Viper. You can give the pie fix mentioned in the 1st post a try, see if it works.

Now, if you are facing issues like ringtone distortion or no bluetooth audio, please flash the following:
For ringtone/notification sound distortion: Flash Notification Remover Helper.
For no bluetooth audio: Flash Viper Pie Fix v2
Note: After flashing the above fixes, you may be prompted to install drivers by Viper again. You can go ahead and install the drivers again.

Sadly flashing "Flash notification remover helper" does not get rid of the distorted system sounds/alarms.
This was the solution for me, no distortion with alarm and bluetooth is working

Strange. Worked for 2 of my devices. One is K20 Pro, running Evolution X. which rom are you on?
Edit: Notification helper remover has two options. Did you try both? Removing volume listener library worked for me.

Looked into this. The audio compatibility patch is a collection of patches mentioned in the original post.
It has a usb audio related patch and the notification helper remover. Would be easier to just flash notification helper remover.

Not initially, but I did yesterday.
Just removing the volume listener library didn't work. So I removed V4A and started from scratch.
Installed V4A, installed AML, installed the driver, deactivated AML and flashed NHR and removed volume listener library and then installed the driver again :silly: .
Don't know why it's working, but it's working as intended now.
System sounds working, BT working,
even my trouble with some IG stories sounding ok and others being distorted are gone.
Thank you.

I have V4A + ACP + AML working on my 9T Pro running Android 10 with no issues whatsoever. Only had to install Viper, disable AML, install Viper driver, enable AML, install Viper driver and that was all.
I've followed the procedures, didn't work.
Tried all the suggested combos in the thread, didn't work.
Tried all sorts of weird combos, none worked either.
Notification and ringtones still crackles when viper works.
Not working here...On pixel experience 10 . I either end up with stuttering audio or no bt at all.
Sadly does not work for me either on Evox.
Dosent work for me on mi9t pro on EU rom

Just making sure, are you guys following all the steps exactly on a clean install?
Also, the steps have worked for me on Evox (android 10) and ParanoidAndroid, K20 Pro Indian variant.
