I have Xperia Neo V rooted and I have installed Zelly Cream Rom 3.0.1 on it. Everything is fine but this Play store issue is irritating me!! When I download anything from Play store, the downloading starts but it stops at a certain percentage and the funny part is that whenever I cancel and retry that app...... it will again stop at the same percentage!! This percentage would be different for different apps. Like for Spotify it will stop at 4% everytime.... no matter what I do!! Some apps have downloaded but many don't!! Clearing cache, downgrading, upgrading, clearing data, reinstalling play store does not solve this!!
Pls Help!!

Google Play randomly locks up my SGS2 running CyanogenMod 7:
Nothing else gives this problem on my phone, and my phone also had this same problem with the old Google Market App. Is there anyone else having the same problem as me, and more importantly does anyone know a fix
you could try clearing the cache, settings-->applications-->manage applications-->select google play and clear cache.
it is a known issue with cwm 7.1 and s2. have a read to the official cwm forum... workaround use appbrain. the issue occurs when you scroll in the market/play app
OK Guys thanks for the pointers.
I'm getting Google PLay FCs all the time!
I don't why my google play is giving continous force closures.removing cache or unistalling update is not working.
No answer here but at least you'll know you are not alone.

Hey there!
My situation is there are two same xperia s devices with the same stock 4.0.4 . Same google localization and we tried to install dead trigger on both.
One of them showed it in play store and installed without a problem, but the other one doesn't show it and can't install it. When we force to the apps play store page it says its incompactible with the device. But when i go to play.google.com manually sign in with the google account and find dead trigger click on install it starts installing. So dead trigger is solved but there are many apps on the play store that the device doesn't show when we search them.
In the app settings i cleared data and deleted updates. It has not solved the problem.
Any help\idea would be appriciated.
Thanks in advance.
Many time that happens
Due to play store not recognizing you device properly or some time it recognize lately...
I have so many games work fine which play store says not compatible..
Now have two option
First is try to update to latest play store version..
Other is sometimes changing language works sometime it worked for me..
Or at last you can download same thing from different source...
we all should be polite enough to press thanks for anyone who helped US.
Since some time now i have a really hard time to upgrade apps on google play store. Sometimes rebooting helps but most of the time not. The upgrade just cannot be dowloaded, it just stucks on the download bar and nothing happens. I try to cancel and retry the upgrade, sometimes after a dozen trials it works but mostly not. WiFi works on all other apps so this should not be the problem. Also space is not a problem as i have enough.
Someone else had such a problem? I have now about 20 apps to upgrade and cannot do that.

That happens to me a lot. I have crappy DSL Internet. I don't have service on my phone right now. I download a lot of movies online so I always get capped. I have 3 boys so i always have a lot of different devices connected to my internet. I go to the play store to update or download apps and half the time i end up with some sort of error codes. Anyways try clearing your cache. But what has worked for is to go my phone browser and download update through there. Its a hassle but you could try it!

Thanks a lot for your answer. In fact two days ago i could finally slove it. As clearing cache and data from app management did not help, i booted into CWM and cleared from there cache and dalwik cache. Then after rebooting the apps updated without any problem.

Hello people!
I've been through alot of solutions and i still couldn't fix it. Hence this thread.
An hour ago i started my regular update run, updating 6 apps. After updating the first app, play store force closed. This didn't happen to me for ages, so i thought let's start by clearing the cache of download manager and google play store. This didn't work, so i tried uninstalling the updates. and rebooting the phone.
At this point play store worked again, so i tried updating another app. But after this updating, the fc was back. So i repeated the cache clearing and found somewhere that if i did that with google framework, play would probably come back. But it didn't.
So after this i rebooted again and started google play. And it started. But now things got worse. Google play gives me a no connection retry since then. Even after clearing dalvik and rebooting again.
So i guess my question is clear. How do i get play working again on my phone?
Thanks in advance for answering!
P.s. I also found a solution which said to remove and add the google account, but on my xperia z1 with 4.4.4 i can't seem to find that option?
You see when i download files above 1gb i download it before i sleep. Last night i download 2 games that is above 1.5gb and when i woke up the downloading progress is gone. Theres no notification that theres an error while downloading, its just gone. This happened twice already and i dont think its in the wifi. How do i fix this? Is this something about the phone sleeps during night time to save battery?
maybe its the miui, not the pocophone itself.

It has nothing to do with either Poco or MIUI. Blame it on Google server. I have faced this issue several times on my Nokia 7 plus, Mi A1, Nokia 8.1 and initially had the same reaction like you. Then I did a little research and found out Android has this issue forever. Not everyone faces it everytime. But this issue is very common and data consuming.
I think is something related with the ROM itself. It occurs to me serveral times randomly and after several hours or even days it continues downloading normally.
After a lot of reasearch all over the web I find a way to mitigate this effect, go to Settings, Apps and find Google Play Store and Google Play Services, first wipe cache of both, if it doesn't works try to clear data, but it could have collateral damages, as the Play Store could be innaccesible, in which case you have to reinstall the ROM over.
Hope it helps.
downgrade the playstore , (factory default) and then try updating! or use apkpure store!
i faced same issue and i started using apkpure! ( might be there is fix out there) but then I was too lazy to find

Is apkpure like playstore or is does it only download apks. Guess i'll have to use that for offline games if clearing cache and data wont work.
