Hello guys!
I bought a Samsung Galaxy S III GT-I9305 from a friend.
Unfortunately my network doesn't work, First of all I thought that my telefon is locked. I downgrad with Odin to jb 4,1,1 and after that I unblocked my telefon with dialing the following keys *#197328640#. I checked IMIEI code and it's not blocked.
I have the same problem after unblocking, Before I unblock my phone I start it once and I could call one of my friend just for checking if it works and it did but after 30 seconds it disconnected from the network and I see at the top of the window that there is no connection and there is a "block icon". I tried to scan manually for find the network and tried to connect me to all of them but it doesn't work. When I try to connect me manually to some network I get this message (!) : "Selected Network (name of the network) unavailable". the strangest thing is that I tried to connect me to the internet and it works. I can surf the web but can't make or receive calls. When I try to call some one I get this message: "Mobile network not available."
Where is the problem?
What do you suggest that I do?
Thank you!
Suggest you post I9305 questions in the I9305 Q&A
usual reply to your question.
IMEI wrong .
Modem Wrong
CSC Wrong / APN settings wrong
NETWORK problem
SIM problem

How much do you trust your 'friend'? Do you get to browse internet on wifi only? I'm thinking your phone is locked due to being stolen. They block the IMEI so no network will work for you, but a wifi connection would still work I think as it doesn't bother with IMEI but issues an ip address.
But try the 9305 forum for Help and Troubleshooting - maybe it's a 9305 issue?

One post Q&A as per rules please .
Are you entering the network connections or just hoping for them to auto enter .
Is your IMEI the correct one .

Sorry this was my first post , i have auto entered and selected the networks but neither has worked and my IMEI number is the one thats on the inside of the phone and its not blocked nor barred i have checked on a few IMEI site's to see if it has been blocked but it shows it has not been just kinda new to these types of phones
Try manual settings as phone may not have a CSC that auto enters the network details .

i have tried both methods to make the sim works it says registered with network shows full signal but still wont let me make calls
Backup data and factory reset the phone .

Done as asked but same thing gonna find my big hammer
So my phone has been having the freezing problem.
Sent back for repair twice, of course came back without any fix as intermittent
Anyway, over the last few days the freezing seems to have resolved.
The problem is now, since the 2nd 'fix', the S3 can't make/receive any calls/texts!
Mobile internet works fine
Attempted ARIZA patch, patched but problem still remains
Try manual selection - states 'unable to connect - try later'
Status shows network as 'O2 UK' correct
Mobile network type: HSDPA
Service State: Out of Service
What is going on here? Anybody got any ideas? How can I check if it's the EFS? If it is, what can be done?
Many thanks for any help!

Hi Ladies & gents,
I'm new to this forum, and new to android.
Basically i was given a Samsung Galaxy ace by my brother (was on o2 network, all working fine), and i decided that i wanted to try & unlock it.
In the process, i rooted the phone successfully, and downloaded galaxy tool box, to unlock it. This was all carried out using an sd card from my pc.
After the procedure i changed sim to 3 network, and found the phone saying "no network coverage."
I checked the settings, and under mobile networks\network operators if i click on search networks, "searching flashes up for a second and thats it!
If i try select automatically it says "unable to connect to network. Try again"
The phone shows 3 out of 4 bars signal, and when i try & call someone it says "no network coverage."
Have i goofed up, as i now have a phone that works fine on wifi and everything else except to make non voip (skype etc) calls!
Please help?
Thanks in advance.
Chek your imei num.
If not there fix it with HEX EDITOR. Your network connection wiil be start.
Hit thanks if I help

I am using Samsung Galaxy Chat B5330 (officially upgraded from 4.0.4 to 4.1.2). It used to work fine, but since a few days I am not able to call or send sms or use any network related services. It gives me error : "Not Registered On Network". I tried applying manual network settings. At first it gives a pop up : "Registered on Network". But as soon as I try to make a call, the same error : "Not Registered On Network".
Also I haven't yet rooted my phone.
I thought that factory reset would have been the solution to my problem, but unexpectedly , this too did not work for me. Please help.
Check if your IMEI is intact (by dialling *#06#)
If it's good, make sure it isn't a network problem or server error from your carrier itself

i have tried checking the imei and serial number. They are fine.
Also no problem with network provider because other phones with my simcard are able to use the network.
No problem with my sim card because it works on other phones.
Also my phone is able to use simcard of other phones.
