Starting a few days ago, the Camera app on the Note 2 seems to work fine. However, when you take a picture, it shows as a black box with a broken image icon in the middle in gallery. (see picture below)
I haven't been able to take pictures and send them off lately due to this bug.
Any suggestions?

Maybe try wiping data for gallery and camera and see if it fixes it. Wiping either of those WILL NOT WIPE YOUR PICTURES, so dont worry.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that didn't fix it. New pictures are still showing as broken in Gallery.
EDIT: It appears this is caused when I put the photos on my External SD Card rather than phone storage. Is there any way to fix without wiping the SD card?
EDIT2: I reformatted the external SD card. All is working again.

I can't seem to get the HTC camera application to store photos and video on the 8gig SD card I have installed.
The HTC album will see whatever images are stored on the card, however, the camera only shows 'Main Memory' and 'Network" as the only options for saving to.
Otherwise, the SD card works fine.
I am using K's Rom v1.31
Any thoughts on how to allow images/video to be saved the the sd card?

I had that same issue, HR fixed mines. I think it was registry related but I didn't want to mess with it.

I posted on this oooooh maybe two years ago and then again just a few days ago. The camera can only save to one of two locations, so if you have view network folder enabled you get main and network as a choice. Disable network view and you can choose Main or storage card.

Thank you Mike.
I am unable to move programs to my sd card it tells me there is not enough free space but the internal storage has 1.3 gb free and the sd card has 8 gb free.

I guess I never asked a question, has anyone else seen this or knows how you address it?

Were you plugged into USB at the time? did it actually have write-access to your SD card? Try rebooting once. Could be one of the numerous glitches we are finding on MIUI....who knows.
No I was not plugged into the usb, I have also tried rebooting, I rebooted into the recovery and cleared both cache files. I also tried repair permissions.
No luck, I am pretty sure this started when I got stuck in a boot loop between builds then I had to odin back to stock and wipe data.
Afterwards I restored from my miui backup then this occurred.
I guess the only thing to try is to wipe all 3 and reinstall without restoring.

I was able to move them to the sd card after uninstalling and reinstalling each individual app.

Hi All,
I seem to have developed an issue with my pictures from the SD card, I have tried unmounting the card then mounting it again but I'm still getting the same error messages, I can't see the pictures in the "album" folder but yet they show as a thumbnail under "photo" but as soon you try to open it then it says

this is how they show in the albums folder
Any ideas??
This should go in the Q & A section.

Copy the files to your computer for safe keeping, and then delete them off the SD card and try it back in your phone, the rest of the photos should appear now.
As for the for the corrupt photos I'm not aware of a recovery solution. You may be out of luck on those. May I suggest using Google+ (or equivalent) auto backup for photos and videos?
I'd check if your card is official, if it's a cheap one it may not have all the space advertised

indeed. use this app to check : http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/H2testw.shtml
First off, I have a Galaxy S5, rooted, xposed installed, with 6.0.1.
So I partitioned my SD card a few months ago and I haven't had any issues. My apps were installing just fine and I was no longer getting any errors in regards to low system memory.
Today, I received the dreaded low system memory message and went to investigate.

When I try to view the details under User Data, thing's don't quite add up:
I am fairly tired so pardon my mistake in judgment if the solution is simple. However, I cannot wrap my head around why I am getting this error when everything was working fine previously.
When I plug in my phone, this is what you see in regards to the visible partitions:
As you can see, there is a lot of memory left on both internal storage and the SD card.
In addition to the phone storage indicated there, I had also partitioned off a portion of my SD card to be used as app storage. As it stands, when I go to storage, this is what is shown:
Here are the details of the expanded storage and again, I am unable to make sense of the numbers.
If you could provide some assistance in making sense of this, I would be eternally grateful! Thanks!
My guess is that maybe at some point I had booted up my phone without my SD card in and it changed how the partition was recognized and all of the app data was migrated back over to the phone. This would mean I would have to back up my SD card, delete all of the partitions, and then repartition the card using ADB. I hoping this is not the case because I don't remember that process being fun.
Again, thanks ahead of time and hopefully there is an easy solution to this.
This used to be possible on the previous update, but now the option is gone. This is what the formatting page looks like now:

The following link was the old way of allowing the SD Card to be formatted as internal storage.

Doing this on OOS12 doesn't change anything in the settings as far as I'm aware of though. Is there anyway to do this or is my best bet to downgrade?
IF downgrading is the only option, I tried following the guide on this link: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-to-restore-your-device-to-oxygenos.4324431/,
but driver download link no longer works and the ones I found online resulted in a Code 52 error so I would need help with that too.
In the end I was able to successfully downgrade, but then a new problem showed up. The SD Card was working as intended for a few hours, but suddenly stopped. Now, even when it says it is formatted, it stays unsupported. Neither formatting as internal or external change this. Any idea why? Restarting the phone does not help.
Edit: Sorry for the extra post in the reply. I wasn't aware of an edit feature for the post.
More context, this happened as I was downloading some apps from google play. When I tried to open it, it just flashed and went back to the home screen and eventually resulted in a phone reboot.
Afterwards, I tried formatting on my PC with:
-Disk Manager (all options are greyed out except delete volume)
-Minitool (Says format successful, but doesn't change. Has 'other' as the format)
-AOMEI (Same problem as Minitool)
-SD Card Formatter (From the sandisk website: Says formatting failed)
Starting to think the SD Card is just dead. Can someone confirm? A simple yes or no is good enough.
