yes, i tried everything i could do so i do think the only way out is JTAG box but i live in holland and i already searched for it but i cant find anyone with a Riff box, so i think i'm going to take it back to the shop where i bought it and play the dumbass like
''oh please help me my phone just doesn't want to start anymore do you guys have any idea what this could be?''
and when they ask about root, bootloader and those things i'll be like:
''What the hell is bootloader, i've heard about root though, it's just jailbreak, right?''
So if that isn't going to work i'll have to buy myself a new phone i think...

No, i;m not going to do that because those things are expensive as f*** and with a little bit more money i can buy a second hand, or a completely new HTC one x in my country so think that'll happen if i cant get it repaired at the store where i bought it

sorry for late reply......
if you are able to go in boot loader try to install twrp recovery ( you can install other one also, I prefer twrp)
do full wipe, and download any custom ROM copy it in your sd card.
after full wip choose option install zip files and guide twrp to the downloaded custom ROM zip and try to install it,
if it don't work contact me again.

So nobody on XDA know how to help me?? We are a community of developers, are we not? Yet none of you are willing to help me :/ apart from the post above :/

Call whoever you bought it from, tell them it wont turn on and follow the troubleshooting steps they tell you, however, don't tell them you rooted it. If none of their troubleshooting techniques work, I dont want to be the one to say this but.. you might be screwed. :/
Thanks I will try this I've tried the shorting pins 7 & 8 but it only comes on as a Google fast boot devices on the computer and FDWN won't recognize it :/ any tips on this??

Hi everyone...
I got a problem with my HTC One X +.
I'm from the Netherlands and wanted to play Generation of Chaos on my HTC.
But i coulnt play it because the HTC needed it to be rooted.
So from here it all started.
I started to try and do All-In-One Kit 2.1 But i coulnt get a token or something...
Well so i went on and got the ROOTBOOTV5.
I tried to install it but it failled to find my phone.
So i gave up... But when i starting to use my phone again i saw that the wi-fi coulnt go on anymore.
I resetted it to the factory settings and then my phone got stuck @ starting screen ( HTC quietly brilliant)
If i want to hard reset it my phone goes to Team Win Recovery Project...
Also it cant detect my phone with usb on Hboot it says:
Failed to open usb master mode..
Please help me out guys!
Im a noob @ this stuff so thats why its bricked...
Also my English isnt that great.
Thanks in advance!!
Um.... The play store's description for tthis game says there ARE issues with rooted devices, NOT that you HAVE to be rooted.

It's really hard to get a device S-Off, look at the HTC One X and One X+, they still don't have S-Off too.
Although you can get HTCDev unlocked, look at the tutorial by nloooooo to see how to do that.
:[
O well i really wanted this but I'll try my luck asking htc support
HTC support will definitely not get your device S-Off, they don't want that.

Remember to hit the thanks button!
damn, this security thing sucks. but hey, if you want to remove system-apks /****ty bloatware you can do so by using aroma file manager in cwm. check "auto mount...." in settings and there you go
just be aware that removing the wrong apks may f*ck up your rom (oh, really?), so a nandroid-backup is recommended :silly:

AW: S-OFF
Going to buy a HTC DESIRE X with my girlfriend TODAY and would like to S-OFF and ROOT it right afterwards. Therefore, please answer quick: How to S-OFF it the fastest way? Note: I would like to avoid using the HTC-Dev method. Although not officially documented that it works, did anybody try REVOLUTIONARY to unlock its bootloader? All fast answers are thanked for!

Just want to second that.
It isn't possible yet, there's workarounds for deleting system apps etc.
The community is very small, but picking up, and there are some great devs beavering away quietly.
Patience or bricking your phone are the options atm.
