hi guys... as i was thinking to unlock the bootloader of my XGO, I wanted to know that are there any disadvantages of doing it?
like i read somewhere that after unlocking BL the bravia engine doesnt works... so is it true or just myth? also if there any known downsides of unlocking the BL then plz tell me...
And 1 more thing i wanted to ask that as im using POWER JB rom right now, so do i need to be on stock rom to unlock the BL or can i continue with the power jb rom ?
thanks in adv.

1) The disadvantages are that you will loose bravia engine and you will void your warranty. The only reason you should unlock your bootloader is for installing custom kernels.
You can relock your bootloader via flashtool. This way you will have your warrranty back but you will not get back bravia engine as far as i know because you will loose DRM keys.
2) The rom you are using if for all bootloaders. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to boot system
3) You can unlock your bootloader even if you are on a custom rom but i suggest you to take a backup and install the stock firmware.
4) My opinion is that if you don't want to install custom kernels, cm10 or cm9.1, just leave the device as it is now mate.
5) Don't mess with things that you don't know because you may regret. Unlock bootloader only if you want to install the custom kernel or cm9.1 or cm10.
6) Here you will find a tutorial on how to unlock your bootloader: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1527159
Should work on xperia go also.
Didn't make a separate thread as I got the same doubts.
I am using Xperia sola , rooted with stock ICS.
I want to eventually use a stable JB ROM.
I am not worried about losing warranty.
I want to know about the DRM keys.
Is there a way to backup or save "DRM keys"?
And then restore them when I want to relock bootloader?

Hello Today comparete my Xperia P with other Xperia P, with 6.1.1.B.1.75 and see a big difference with Bravia Engine. My phone have ulocked bootloader and the other locked, my Xperia dont work Bravia Engine, i try with Relock Bootloader and nothing, i flash Gingerbread in my phone and works good (relock bootloader) and update to ICS with Update Service and still with problem, Bravia Engine doesnt work. Any solution? It´s normal? I dont know what can i do, i'm sad HELP ME PLEASE
Bravia engine is corrupted on ICS with unlocked bootloader due to removing some DRM. I think, this never will be officialy repaired, because Xperia T has this issue too and it isn't repaired in Jelly Bean .
What about sola?

Hi, I have a Live With walkman and i use the zelly cream rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2155803) and a friend of mine saw it and wanted it. The question is since in the post says that is available to all the 2011 Xperias it should work, but it was posted in the Live with walkman section.
So anyone knows if it will work or not?
So, you asked without searching? Cause if you have searched you would have seen that both neo and Neo v is supported(and all 2011 hdpi devices as you already said)

Downgrading your phone it's possible, just get the desired ftf file with the version you want and flash it with flash tool. Now to install this rom YOU MUST be on ics .587
About the second question, i didn't understand what you meant.
what would be the best display settings on zelly cream to get a good battery backup?

disable als an try to keep screen brightness to a minimum level according to your need
disable crt off animation if you use it
disable screen auto rotation
I use display settings as 'Adapt to lightning conditions' in power saver mode. Still my screen uses almost 60 % of battery. Any suggestions please.

Nope nothing related to drm
Flashtool works on locked or unlocked both without any partiality
You might have messed it up yourself accidentally
There's no reason for stock ics to not get flashed on either locked or unlocked bootloader
