Hi all,
I want to buy a bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo for my HTC One X+.
Can anyone confirm a make/model that works for this phone (on a standard HTC ROM)?
Thanks in advance
Logitech MX1000 Mouse working on Stock ROM unrooted! I also have the keyboard Logitech MX5000 but i dont have time to test it, will let you know these days!
Thanks, I really need both keyboard and mouse so I would really like to know your feedback. A combo maybe with tracker ball would also be OK.
Thanks again.

That Logitech keyboard doesnt connect, only the mouse.
I have also tried with an Apple Wireless keyboard and the same
Hope you'll find what you need in the end.
The Motorola bluetooth + mouse combo works well.
Hi, thanks. Do you have a model or part number for that Motorola combo? Thanks!
I don't have it with me, but I know the kit was designed for the Xoom tablet. You can search for it like that, if you can still find it.

Could it be this one?

Thanks!
I just tried it again on the One X+ and it's not working now, I don't know why, but it seems that the mouse or keyboard won't work together.
Sorry for the wrong info.

The Motorola Android keyboard works well indeed. I do not use a mouse, so I can't give you any info on that.

As I've said above, the keyboard and the mouse work OK, just separately. You can't use both devices simultaneously because they disconnect each other.

Dear Ryno,
Thank you for contacting HTC Technical Support regarding using wireless keyboards and bluetooth controllers with your device.
Ryno, at this time, HTC has no devices that are compatible with wireless keyboards or bluetooth controllers. However, this is a great suggestion. Tomorrow I'll try to get my Motorola bluetooth keyboard to do something with the flyer, even though it may do nothing.

There are several root only app options including:

Works with my stowaway go keyboard.
And there is this thread in accessories....

Works just fine with my Apple bluetooth keyboard.
Might be more helpful here if you explain your actual problem. I have a HP bluetooth keyboard and a Stowaway bluetooth keyboard and both work fine with the Flyer.
A thread title that in some way relates the topic of the thread would have been more useful.
Hello all, I am currently debating getting the 16GB wifi Flyer. One of the great features I am interested in is the stylus, however I have read how many drawing apps (AutoCAD Sketchbook) don't process the pen input and a message comes up saying "you can't scribble here". I was wondering if this is still an issue in honeycomb or if its limited to gingerbread?
Thanks for your help!

Sketchbook works now in honeycomb with the stylus. You can't use the special pen features but aside from that it works great, you get good precision with the pen.
In honeycomb the pen works everywhere and apps built for the pen switch to pen-mode automatically. It's kind of like using a pen on a Windows-based tablet PC, it works like a mouse/touch in normal apps, and then you get features like the button to erase in special apps.

I was looking at the Galaxy Nexus threads and saw this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_--zcmqIyRI and decided I would try it out on the Note. I did this on my Evo when I had one so this isn't a new idea but I kind like it. This isn't an in depth video, it just shows you how it works with what I have working with it. The commands that the Nexus user can use with his keyboard I couldn't get to work with the Note. Not sure if its an ICS thing or what. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laUNz7QJ9Wo&feature=youtu.be
I too have been playing around with this and it is a pretty novel idea. It isn't 100% there yet in terms of being a setup I could use full time, but it does let me travel without my laptop and plug in to a hotel TV.

I am using both an Apple keyboard and track pad in one setup and a Motorola keyboard/track pad combination in another. They both work well.

Is there a way to make the Motorola Lapdock to work with the Note or something similar?
I was hoping to put Ubuntu on my phone and be able to mirror that to the screen.
Any suggestions?

Can you get any of the commands to work from the keyboard like the Nexus? I'm not having much luck there. Might be a gingerbread thing.

I just found an old Bluetooth Virtual Keyboard (it's a small black box that you set on a table, and it projects a full-sized keyboard onto whatever flat surface it's sitting on using a laser) I used to use with my Windows Mobile 2003 PDA and tried to pair it with my Note today. It works flawlessly! This thing hasn't worked with any of my devices since WinMo 5, and even then it usually required a driver to be installed. Not with the Note! Just need to be sure I have the Samsung Keyboard selected (but it doesn't need to be open). I just keep getting more and more excited about this thing (except for the dark splotches on my display and low Quadrant scores).
Ok this is neat for traveling. Anyone know what cable we need to connect to the lcd monitor?

You have to have the MHL to HDMI adapter for it to work. I got mine on Amazon for $22 including shipping and got it within 5 days. Then of course a bluetooth keyboard and mouse..works good. Does your monitor have HDMI?
Edit: If your traveling I'm sure the tv might have an HDMI...unless you stay in a Days Inn as I do..

No problem. Like I said, Its not the first time its been done but I thought I would share and see if anyone had any different experiences than I did.
The Logitech Tablet Bluetooth keyboard/android 3.0+ works nice with the Note.
It even has 3 special keys to enable the menu, home and search buttons.

I do this with my Transformer Prime via.the.HDMI out. I have to get a MHL adapter for my Note. But this is very possible for people who browse, email and play games. NES and NES ganesh never looked better on my Samsung 60"
I dont touch my laptop anymore. Only to download ROMS lol
It isn't quite there like someone said. But this is the future. For me at least.

Note 717 as a computer
I have been using the Note 717 as my home computer. I downloaded Liquid smooth 4.1.2 and now the HDMI to Micro USB adapter doesn't recognize the monitor? Please help....I would also like other ideas for hooking the phone to a monitor. The cables constantly cause issues with connection. thanks you
Does a bluetooth device like the wiimote work on the Amaze? I'm having no luck detecting the wiimote with the market apps (Wiimote Controller/RWiimote).
Only Bluez IME was at least able detect the device but I'm unable to connect to it. It's just stuck at "Connecting to <device address>".
From what I understand, this is because the bluetooth stack is missing the required HID profiles, and Bluez IME gets around that via the SPP profile. Has anyone successfully connected a Wiimote to the Amaze or is there a fix for it?
I think I was able to do so by using custom ROMs but from what I heard, wiimote doesn't like to connect to Sense devices. I can't confirm it since Sense 3.5 is missing bluetooth.

WiiMote doesn't work on Sense devices. Which sucks because we have a really nice screen.
You can try Sixaxis. I can't try it because I don't have a PS3. Hope they make one for the xbox 360 joystick.
I have tried sixaxis and it says my device is not compatible. I'm guessing there's no fix for this until a real custom rom built from scratch is released.
Thanks for the help.

I think unless you root your phone you may be better off buying an icontrolpad (www.icontrolpad.com) or a Phonejoy controller (www.phonejoy.us). Both work with Bluez-IME.
Those look pretty interesting. Which is better?

What does Insane Clown Posse have to do with bluetooth?
I just purchased an Alpine deck and cannot find any info knife the mirrorlink even works for the One. Contacted HTC support and they are no help. Anyone?

Guess I need to add more info.....trying to find out if anyone has been able to get the HTC One to work via mirrorlink. Car stereos lime Jvc Alpine and Kenwood us mirrorlink to attach a smart phone to it which allows things like Google map to be used thru it. Only device I have found that works with them is the Sammy SG3. Hope someone could add to the conversation.
