Hey ExO
Seems to be you APN settings got changed... if you dont know exact settings.. check with your service provider
OR...
try going to settings --> (Under Wireless and networks) More Settings --> Mobile Network --> Access Point Names/
After you reach the APN's Screen.. press the menu button and click Reset to Default
Let me know after youve tried all the steps
Regards

OK,... This does not sound right!!!
What happens when you long press your power button, as if to turn it off?
Do you get the option for "Mobile Data" come up?

Are you on Custom ROMS or Stock?
Well seeing as I can't post in the dev forums because I'm a new user I'll just have to put it in here.
I just finished flashing my phone to Official GB 2.3.3 by cyber_avijit and ran LGMDP to fix my baseband but now I have some issues. Everything works fine (calling, txting, etc) except I can't use my 2G/3G internet, it just doesn't work at all, does anyone know of a fix for this? Would be much appreciated as I really need it.
Go to settings- and change your apn settings. Add your 2g/3g settings manually.
Ahhhh thank you!
Didn't know I could do that, you're a legend.

Settings - Wireless & Networks - Mobile networks - Access point names- New APN.
Hey Guys,
Ever since I switched from the original branded Three UK ROM, I've had basically no internet access at all on my phone.
Everything else works flawlessly, except I can't get internet connectivity.
I installed one of the "pre-rooted" roms from the forum a few days ago (unbranded UK Rom) and the issue still exists regardless of what APN settings I use or how I go about enabling/disabling the connection.
The phone simply dosen't show any kind of GPRS/3G signal on the status bar and only shows the standard phone signal with a little "R" above it. I've tried literally everything (going to the power menu, enabling/disabling data, etc). I've tried various APN settings posted on forums, but nothing works.
What else could cause this? The thing that is frustrating is that the internet previously worked on the phone.
Cheers,
David
Sounds to me like your phone is on national roaming..untick the box in mobile network settings, i to am on 3 uk and have never had any problems, are you 100% your apn`s are right ..let us know if you need check them with mine.
it does sound to me like we will have to step by step your settings to make sure there same as mine ie...know working.
Thanks for the reply lodger, where do you enable/disable national roaming on the phone?
Can you post all your settings so I can check against mine.
Thanks for the help

Settings > Mobile Network > Data Roaming (Check or uncheck).
Have you tried flashing a different modem? Try NELP3 (Flash via CMW)
Be careful if you play around with the service menu on your Xperia Z Ultra, I just ran into a major issue (bug)?
I looked at the various options in the Service menu and one is about Radio Bands, but when you select it you have only 1 choice "USA Radio Bands".
Once selected, no way to change back to a different region and the phone simply gets disconnected from the Network with no way to re connect.
I'm currently going through a Factory Reset which seems to fix it.

You could also manually change the apn's rather than reset.
