Guys, this is just strange and never happened when I'm using ICS before. Right now my XT910 using Official JB EU and already frozen major stock app, include stock SMS app.
Since then, I can't receive or send any text message even using alternative SMS app like Pansi or Textra. Stock SMS app must be unfrozen and then I can texting.
Is there any fix for this? or let the stock SMS app unfrozen and disable it's notification..?

Has anyone else had this problem with the latest version of Handcent SMS not flashing the LED, but keeping the LED on until I check the text? My setting have it flashing blue...

I'm gonna try and download other messaging apps to see if it works, if not then it's safe to say it's my ROM.
Well I just used GO SMS Pro and it flashed blue so that leads me to believe it's Handcent SMS which is the culprit.
Got this weird problem since this morning.
I can't send a sms to others with handcent or Go sms pro (and probably other apps). The only one working now is the standard Samsung sms app.
I CAN receive them in handcent en go pro but CANNOT send. Failing to deliver the message. When I open the samsung app he's still marked as failed, but retrying it in samsungs app it WILL send. Retrying with others will get a failed notification.
Somebody got an answer or a solution for this?

are you using some kind of security app that blocks permissions (like LBE Privacy Guard)? this could be the reason...
No, don't have any apps like that. Happened overnight. Maybe fresh rom install is the answer.

I've been using go sms for a very long time now, but it keeps giving me oops no messages, forcing me to restart phone.
I'm using chomp sms at the moment but, I would love to use the stock android message app but I don't know if that is possible without being rooted .
The stock samsung sms app I don't like.

So I downloaded chomp sms and really enjoyed using it. Initially all I had to do to get it on my lock screen was choose it as my default texting app. (which I did through my people app... Sent a message and chose chomp as default ). Simple. I uninstalled chomp to try other text apps. I decided that liked chomp the best and reinstalled it, but now I can't get it on my lock screen. I've chosen it as the default app in every possible way, but the stock texting app remains on my lock screen. This is frustrating since I had it working fine once. Any ideas fellas?
Only thing I read is to disable the stock texting app but then I can't receive sms. I'm running ics on gsm razr maxx.

I have a problem i restored my phone "Xperia Z3" to factory settings. Then i had alot of problems with to getting my sms back. I have done a back up.
Now i can only see my reciewed messages and mms but not the ones that i have send.
On the stock sms app i can see everything including my sent but it crashes all the time when i scroll. I cannot see it in hang out or google messages or in textra. Before i did the restore i did use textra with ios emoji plugin is it maybe because of that?
