Hello
I have seen a hack somewhere where the back button and the other two buttons are moved to the left side in Cm 10.1
Been searching the whole Internet.

Its no hack my friend. Its somewhere in settings -> system -> navigation bar. You can change the positions if those buttons and add another button if you want.

When the home screen is full of icons, is there any way of moving icons around? When I move an icon over another one to swap places they don't swap.
Is the only way to arrange them by keeping a slot free or dragging the icon to another screen first? Is this a bug or has touchwiz always worked like this?

When I plug my Galaxy S3 into the Desktop Charger Dock Kit, the screen goes to this docking screen with the time, date, weather, and 4 program icons at the bottom. I can change the 4 icons by going to Edit, but I can't seem to add more icons.
Is it possible to have more than 4 icons down there?
Check in the "Dock" menu settings in the phone. There may be a master setting there

The only thing under Dock in settings is: Dock Sound, Audio output mode, and desk home screen display. These are check boxes with no further options.... Is this what you were talking about?

Is there a way to hide/remove softkeys? I am running paranoid, tried to post in the development thread but I don't have enough posts. And yes, I have searched
Haven't tried pa on the note but if it's the same way as the nexus 4 you either long press the power button and select it.

System Settings > Hybrid properties, then swipe left to right, select Interface and set Nav. bar to 0%, apply.
You must not have looked very hard. It's in like 48 point bold font in the Paranoid thread.
Ok for the longest time is note2 phones were on 4.1.2. So now we got mj9 release, but on stock browser there is no box or settings for auto fit pages. Like you would zoom in, double tap and it would correct the text. Maybe I'm missing something here? I see the text size slider, but still zoom in and you have go left 2 right to read a sentence.

Hi guys!
I'm unable to find a way to get the navigation bar to appear on the side, (within much easier reach - right under my thumb) , while tab is in landscape mode. It always goes to the bottom.
I've searched for days, but can't find a solution. Am I missing something, or is this not possible?
I have played with Smartlock. Don't want to root, though.
Thanks!

Just install Good Lock from the Galaxy Store and then install NavStar via Good Lock.
This will not move the navigation bar to the side but you can easily move the icons within the bar to the side.
Much better! I never would have tapped on the "new configuration" button had you not pointed out this possibility. Thank you very much. : )
