Is there something I am missing with voice dialing via Bluetooth? I know I should be able to considering this worked on older phones.

You can use Skype, Google talk and others as long as you have a 3G or wifi signal. The tab can send normal cellular sms too.

With tab 10.1 no. Tab 2 10.1 has a GSM calling capability though.

Ah man I want a galaxy 2 tablet instead of galaxy 1
I didn't know that about the version 2. I hope people use hands-free but I'd love to see someone holding 10.1" against their head.

I have noticed on all 4.2.2 roms that when headphones are plugged in there is no audio when making or receiving a call. Is this a kernel issue? Can it be fixed?

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I bought my wife and I new Jabra talk headsets for our evo 4g lte phones, and they pair justfine but when we make a call we cannot be heard by the other person. I have tried UN/re-pairing the headsets and nothing works. Any suggestions are appreciated

I use Jawbra and haven't had any issues. You might have a defective headset? Make sure volume is up for everything and retest.

I replaced S Voice with My MotoSpeak and it sure seems to work a lot better for me. How about YOU???
It's just for Bluetooth headsets that are Motorola brand. I use Google now and it's everything I need

I was wondering if there is an app or work around to allow the phone to RECIEVE sound from bluetooth and/or wifi (or wifi direct) and play it through the speaker or headset

Dont think you can do it through bluetooth but rSpeakers (on play store) says it can do it through wifi. never used it myself so cant confirm how it works but thats what I found through google.
