Hi !
Screen of my Galaxy S II starts flickering occasionally, sometime it flickers a lot and some times it seems stable. Is it repairable or not? Guide me for some quick solution.
First questions go in Q&A
Second you posted in the S4 section not the SII

The real question here is what version of the S2 do you have? This forum section is specifically for the SGH-i777 device, and not for the i9100 (which based on your location, is probably what you have)

I happen to have an I9100G, not I9100, and from what I've read, the two hardwares are completely different. 9100 ROMs don't work on 9100G and vice versa. SHould there be another forum for discussions/ROMs/customizations etc. regarding 9100G?
+1.. same here.. i having a i9100G and its difficult because over 90% of s2 community is i9100.. there isn't really that much custom rom for i9100G either
+1 because i9100 roms and kernels don't work on the I9100g and we barely get an answer there, it would be better to have its section, so that we may have more developers concentrating on it hhh
yes...
there should be one, now some of mobiles review sites such as gsmarena added
the i9100G as another phone, i have searched alot about this
and it seems that samsung is selling it as galaxy s ii due the huge demand on the exynos chipset
i'm one of the I9100G's owner and strongly agree with this suggestion.

Hello, I was wondering if the S3 has the same drawing capabilities like the Galaxy Note? Thanks in advance!
Please use the Q&A Forum for questions &

Moving to Q&A
Yes, it does, but it might not have the apps like S-note or S-memo. You will need third part apps to draw on.
The main difference between the Note and S3 is the S-pen. The touchscreen is the same.
Hey, does Quick Glance ( a Galaxy S4 feature) exist for my Samsung Galaxy SIII i9300?
Thanks
no.
Q&A (stands for questions and answers) is the correct place for asking questions and getting answers. don't ask any more questions here. thanks
Hi. I have had a problem with my i9305 for a little while now. It started around 5-6 days ago. I noticed my phone was charging super slowly! The problem got worse over the days, to the point where if I used the phone while charging the battery level would go down, WHILE charging. I have tried two different official Samsung ROMs, and I am now running CM 11, still having the same problem. Over one night it charges from 10 to 50 %, which is NOT good.
I have tried:
-3 different ROMs
-3 different OFFICIAL Samsung chargers
-Bending the physical micro USB pin on the phone with a toothpick
-Checking that the phone displays that it is being charged via AC, not USB
-Different power outlets
Any help is appreciated

Oh, sorry, I thought it would be appropriate to post in the general forum since this problem may not only be specific for my device. I'll make sure to post in the right forum next time!
I'm still having problems
Hi i'm going mad these days trying to fix my Galaxy S3.
I recently changed it's display. There are two problems, the first one is that it continues rebooting randomly and i don't understand why. I tried to change the battery putting another battery from another perfectly working S3. The second problem is about the sound. I can't hear nothing, from both speaker and headphones. I followed the same procedure i followed with the s3: i tried changing the speaker with one from a working s3 but nothing changed.
I thought it was a software related problem so i put various roms like the Cyanogen 10.2 and the Omega but it was useless.
I sincerely don't know what to do, so if anyone can help i would really appreciate it!!
- Redi.

I think it could be a general problem, not really depending on the phone itselft, but that's ok for me!
Thanks!

Your phone has hardware issues, if you've flashed stock firmware and fully wiped it.
Next step would be to change the motherboard, but a new phone might be cheaper.
