Hi is there a way to enable this for the ICS of the LG Prada 3 the Korean version, because this option isn't in the developer's options.

[Q] Go closest to ICS experience by changing the menu key to Recent apps?

HTC One X, S, LG 4X, and upcoming ICS phones all have 3 keys but replaced the menu key with recent apps key. What if we configure the S2 that way to get closest to ICS experience? But I don't know how they solve the current apps that rely on menu key.
You can flash on screen buttons from themes and apps section
I think it will be included in cm9 settings(that menu button takes to recent apps thing)

Menu button hack for multitasking

Hello,
I know this question was asked elsewhere, but I did not find any solution to this.
Is it possible to make the capacitive Menu button function like a multitasking button in Galaxy S2?
If there is one thing I hate, it is having to long press Home to get to the multitasking menu.
I would really love to replace the menu key to do multitasking.
This is not unlike what HTC did with One X where did the opposite and gave an option to make the multitasking key a menu key.
I think by now, most of the applications in play store do have menu option within the app interface following android guidelines.
So, lack of a dedicated menu button should not be an issue.
If anyone knows any custom ROM or any other hack to achieve this, please do let me know.
Cheers.
CM10 -> Settings -> System -> Hardware keys -> Menu key or Menu key (long press) -> Recent apps switcher.
If you select Menu key (short press), I guess you'll ahve to enable the Show action overflow below to have the 3 dots as menu key in apps.
Maybe CM9 does have this too, and maybe AOKP (although I never saw this on ICS AOKP or JB AOKP).

[Q] Android Programmable Button

Hi,
Is there a way to assign an app to the Power Button / Menu Button (on Galaxy S4)
At the moment I can only call the shortcut menu, what I really want is to call my favorite app from the Power Button / Menu Button.
Is there such functionality on the S4 (I heard there is on some Motorola table)?
Thanks

How to Add multitask button to the Phone / Change button functions?

I have a nexus 4, the right most button on the nexus 4 is the multitask button, showing all the running apps.
Today i ordered an LG optimus e970 for my brother since it was on sale and i noticed that to show all running problems, i need to hold the home button and that's very annoying. The rightmost button on the optimus is just settings button.
How do i change the functions of the button and make the rightmost button the multitask button?
Can custom roms like cyangmod change it?

Click to collapse
Custom ROMs will let you edit short and/or long press cap keys for home and menu. So yes, it can be done.

How do you enable/install the Menu/Configuration button on Nougat NavBar?

Hello,
Happy New Year!
I have an LG V20 (H918), bootloader unlocked, rooted, with a modified stock rom by Tilde88 based on Android 7.0.
I want to add and/or enable a menu/configuration button to the Nougat NavBar that previous android versions used to have.
Ever since I had an android phone I've had a button which would make the menu/configuration options appear of every app. For example: I just switched to the LG V20 from an LG G4, the G4 had the navbar where if you long-pressed the square button on the right side it would make the menu/configuration options appear in the app you are currently on. But now in Nougat that same square button brings up Multi-window instead of the menu/configuration options.
Is there any way to add a button to the NavBar that would bring up the menu/configuration options? or substitute multi-window for the menu/configuration option?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
