You can install halo manually. AOKP would be awesome.

anyway thanks for maclaw to make AOKP for us
I would love aokp cm10.1. When I used an older version when it first came out, it had the lowest ram usage I'd ever seen on cm10.1. So I say yay to it.

You are quite confused cm10.1 and aokp jb are two different roms
So there cannot be an aokpcm10.1
First Complete With the Ongoing ROMS
I mean no offense here. Why don't we let him to complete with the tasks he is already on?
He finished CM9 but still a few bugs left. Currently, he is concentrating more towards S3 Mini. That doesn't mean(as he says, I have not abandoned Ace) he has forgotten Ace Users, yet finishing off the pending work would always be perfect.
He is giving the best he can so not to mess up with more new stuff.
Unless the mclaw guys are thinking about removing ad fly on their website, they are not welcome on XDA and are not to use the forums to advertise their work or draw users to their site.

Hi there,
I wonder does the Xperia S got an AOKP ROM? I am using the latest CM9 ROM and really hope It could have features like AOKP. ie. thoes quick buttons in the notification panel.
I have searched that was an AOKP Rom development but it has been halted at the alpha0 version, which I cannt flash it at all.
Or is there any ways that I can customrize my SystemUI.apk like the one in AOKP?
Thanks in advance.
For know we don't have aokp roms, but K900( dev) is working on it and he is waiting for fxp team to release sources.

One of the roms, I think it's kasspeed10, has the buttons. I reccomend not going to 10.2, it's a bit buggy.

I'm waiting for CM10 to become stable. Once most of the things are working, team FXP will release the source and I'll have AOKP in no time.

Can someone explain to me the difference between the Android and Ported Development categories? I read the posts at the beginning of each, but they weren't very helpful in distinguishing the two.
I'm interested in flashing a JB ROM, but I see several JB ROMs in Ported, but only one (CM10) in Android. What's the difference between the ROMs in each category?
Thanks in advance.
Ported development usually implies that the ROM has been hell raised , or that the work done to the ROM was a kang. Android Development is all "original" development.

Aokp since it isn't available directly to the i777 (no official support by team kang) it took a lot of work by task and ktoonsez to get it to work (not to mention their custom apps for it) so that's why even though it is android open kang project it isn't just ported development.

This. Yeah it's in Android Development because of the amount of customization and work it takes to bring it here. Its much much more than a simple hell raise haha. To the OP--You should stop on over to his thread and check it out ;-p

No doubt that Task's AOKP is an awesome firmware, I don't know how much work that Task & Ktoonsez put in, 90% maybe? but I thought it is heavily based on CM and the KANG sources, am I right?

Task has said that it is easy to sync cm sources but it's a ***** to sync aokp sources if your device is not officially supported (which ours isn't) so although they didn't make the changes to the rom itself like team kang does, they put in a lot of work to get it to compile and work properly.

It was a term coined in the infuse forum first I believe, it's basically porting from a similar device. There's like 5 files that differentiate between the software for our phones and the software for the i9100.

Been reading a lot about the latest version out 4.2.2 and all I saw are positive feedbacks. From extra smoothness to extra battery life to a lot of fixes. Any roms out there venturing in 4.2.2 asides from cm10.1 ?
I know this sounds noobish but dont wanna ask every rom dev of his future plans. Thats why I asked in here.
Best regards

I believe (rather know) that our RAZR community has really talented devs. And I also know that many of our devs are working on more than 3-4 projects at a time. But I still feel that there are many people who are capable of compiling ROMs from source up. I request at least a few of u to look at this matter and bring AOSPA complied from source to our beloved RAZRs. I am sure many of u will agree that our razrs should definitely get a feel of paranoid android.
Thanking the whole RAZR community for their support

It'd definitely be cool to get some PA on our phones, especially with the new halo notifications feature. If you want some Paranoid Android features though, I'd recommend PACman rom (do a google search for "pacman rom droid razr," I don't have 10 posts yet so I can't post links). It's a combination of PA, AOKP, and cyanogenmod (hence the P, A, C), so you can use Paranoid Android's hybrid settings.
Yea I did try PACman a week back but the download link was faulty. Tried it again now looks like the link has been pulled down. But now that cm is reaching complete stability with kexec we should really be able to see a stable kexec version of PA.

A) there's a forum for the hd
B) there's a pa build on droid hive for the hd too.
I've contacted them and thats the answer they gave me
find a developer that ports it. he needs no permission, just go ahead. we only build for nexus and leave porting in the hands of whoever wants to give it a go.

The gapps do, but I don't believe this would matter, as CFXP does not have a phablet UI mode to utilize the P.A gapps ability.
CFXP is designed to be as close to the stock AOSP experience as possible at the moment.

WTF! Why is this rom so fast! I was mindblown! I changed the animations to 0.5 like I always do and I was amazed! you may say that its because of the animations that gave the impression that this rom is fast but no! there is absolutely no loading time! It shows up in an instant. Wow. Using the stock kernel because I cannot flash any other kernel because it gets stuck st the bootscreen. But wow. I have tried almost all the roms here and the speed blows them all. I like featurepacked roms but I was intrigued by this and tried it for my flashing needs. I did not expect this speed at all. Great job synergye and teamEOS! I am hoping I can flash other kernels in the future though! Thank you!
Hell yeah ! I was waiting for this since soo looong
And a Rom devlopped by Synergy and maintained by Roach can only be awesome !
Waited for this since SR15. This will sure be a good day! Thanks a lot to all devs involved
Did anyone of you successfully flash other kernels? all I want is to change the colors. The rom is perfect for me.
